 As Bae slept, he started to get strange pictures in his head, ones that he couldn't explain. It was images of a strange place he'd never seen before, and, he was surrounded by people with his father nowhere in sight. He knew that couldn't be right, because his papa had promised to always be by his side, so this obviously was just a dream.
He had awoken with a bit of a start, and, Bae shook the dream he'd had out of his head. Bae knew that his papa wouldn't leave him, they made a promise to each other. They would grow up in a land without magic, and, be the family they used to be. Normal and magic free. Like everyone else.
At his papa calling him for dinner, Bae smiled softly at himself, "Coming papa" Bae called back, before he pulled the blanket off of himself, and, made his way back downstairs for dinner with his papa. Rumple smiled at the generous remark from his son. The dark one knew he wasn't a accomplished cook ,that still stop him from trying. Placing the napkin on his lap gracefully was your room satisfactory? I wanted to make sure it had all the things you desired. the meal went with its natural ease laughter filled the room . that was something Rumple desperately missed hearing. The barely deep chuckle of Baelfire, not fully a man nor a child anymore .
Remorsefully Rumple sat there staring at Bae's smile I've missed this you our time together its almost as we are a family once more . that was probably a mistake but it was the truth . as a father it was his greatest regret that he had left Baelfire behind. Ducking his head , grabbing his napkin from his lap dropping it back on the now cleaned plate . dinner was done soon the ingredients would take effect ...this will be a beautiful dream.
what shall we do now ? Anything you want name it and it will happen . resting his elbows against the table top. Rumpelstiltskin wanted to engrained this moment this memory into mind to keep forever.

Bae smiled at his papa, sitting opposite him at the table. He may not have been the fanciest cook, but, that didn't mean he didn't love his papa's cooking. “Yeah, it was great papa. It did, but, I told you as long as I have you then that is all I desire.” Bae chuckled softly, as he ate the meal with his papa, the two of them talking and laughing like the way they used to. The best dinner he'd had in a long time, because it had nothing else, but, him and his papa.
Bae watched as his papa looked at him. “I have too papa. Yeah, a fresh start as a family, just the two of us.” Bae took a light grip of his papa's hand. He saw flashes of something in his head, of his papa letting it go. He didn't show this though, Bae didn't want his papa knowing he had these bad, almost unthinkable thoughts in his head. A small smile grew on his face as they finished their dinner together, and, Bae placed his napkin onto the plate.
“Hmm... what about learn some more about this world? I mean, if we're going to live in it then we should probably know what the stuff is. And then maybe we could do something with this stuff together. As a family” Bae said, with a small smile as he took a light grip of his papa's hands.
