Neal Cassidy | Neal had woken up early that morning, and, as he noticed Lily was still asleep, he quickly snuck out of their hideout. He knew parts of this city, and, he wanted to surprise Lily with something special for breakfast. Soon Neal spotted a diner up ahead, and, he looked around to make sure no-one was following him before he made his way inside of it. Looking around, Neal noticed that the Diner seemed emptier then most. Neal quickly lowered his head as he noticed people looking at him, as he made his way into a booth in a corner away from the door. Pulling out his phone, Neal made himself look busy by fiddling with it, so as to not draw attention to himself. Neal placed his phone on the table as he heard a waitress next to him address him. “Look kid, this isn't a play centre. If you aren't going to order something then leave.” Neal sighed softly as he placed the phone down, and, looked at the waitress. “As a matter of fact I was going to order something. Give me two orders of your breakfast specials, and, two hot cocoas please.” Neal said, smiling softly. “You do know that's a bit pricey kid. Are you sure you can afford it?” Neal felt his hands being turned into fists as he tried to stop himself from telling this waitress off. “Yeah, I'm sure. Can you just bring me my order please?”He waved to the waitress as she headed back into the kitchen. Why could no-one believe that he could afford these things? Neal knew that he and Lily had stolen enough to afford things like this for a while. Neal sighed softly and went back to his phone, sending out a text to Lily. 'Hey, meet me at the local diner when you wake up. Breakfast is waiting for you. Neal.' After sending the text Neal grabbed a local newspaper from the stand where the straws and everything were. Neal grabbed it and took it back to his booth, starting to read through it. Neal just ignored everyone looking at him, as he sat down in his booth on his own, just minding his business while waiting for Lily, and, the waitress to come back with his food. |

Cracking open an eye as she rolled over in the sleeping bag. The chilly start to the morning wasn't a pleasant one to the teen. Bringing the warm cover's up to her nose Lily didn't want to move but that didn't seem to be an option. The cell phone by her hearing out loudly making the girl groan reach out blindly above her head touching the vibrating machine. Blinking a few times her brown eyes still trying to adjust being awake. Smiling at the message from Neal Cassidy reluctantly rolling forward she pushed the covers away and grabbed her uggs threw them on to keep her feet warm. Once dressed Lily booked over to the diner entering it rather briskly happy that the place had a good heater. She hated the cold muc preferred to be hot then freezing. Heading straight to where Neal sat lily ducked her head making sure not to look anyone in the eye. Scooting into the booth seat , I'm so glad you picked this place I'm starving . lily smiled once before shrugging her army coat off letting it pool around her waist and hips. outit

Neal Cassidy | Neal looked around the Diner, and, noticed people looking at him. But, he didn't care, they could look all they want. He may have just been a kid, but, that didn't mean anything other then that fact.
He ignored them, and, instead focused on his phone and the newspaper in front of him. Glancing at the newspaper, Neal wasn't really all that interested in the news of Arizona, until he'd seen one article speaking of a bar mitzvah, being held later on today.
Hearing the bell above the door ding, Neal looked up and smiled as he saw Lily entering. Neal smiled, and, waved at her playing with his phone in his hands. “It's no problem. I woke up early and got hungry too.” Neal said, with a small smile at Lily.
Glancing at the waitress coming back with their food, Neal ignored the urge to roll his eyes at her. 'Here kid. You'd better be able to pay for this.' Neal watched the waitress put the food down. “I told you I can.” Neal said, before the waitress walked away.
“Why do most places I order food from come with attitude?” Neal asked, before moving one of the plates and the hot cocoas in front of her. “Here I hope this is ok for you.” Neal smiled at Lily, before taking a small sip of his cocoa. |

Glaring at the waitress I was thinking the same thing shaking her head the grown ups only saw children with no parents and automatically went with no money. Stomach growling at the food in front of her. no it looks so delicious thank you for this
Picking up the her fork lily began to dig into the meal. Cutting through a flap jack stack into squares. Placing the fork down she picked up the syrup pouring it over the stack so what brought all this on though I'm not complaining. starting to eat glancing at Neal with curiosity , peaking down at the newspaper right in front of him.
when did you start caring about Arizona so much ? she teased moving her self in the booth seat . lily sat on her knees and quickly took the newspaper began reading what was open up to . unfortunately it was on information about a two for one sale. Arching a brow and looking over the paper. looking to pick up some items in the sale ?

Neal Cassidy | Neal resisted the urge to roll his eyes at the waitress. “Of course you were, because it's kids like us that they're rude to.” Neal knew that kids minus parents must automatically mean broke. He smiled softly at Lily as she thanked him “Anytime. It's all on me.”
Neal picked up a slice of the bacon with his hands, and, took a bite, letting the warmth of it just slide down his throat. Neal grabbed some sauce from the rack besides them, and, covered the eggs in it. “Well, I thought, I owed you for letting me find somewhere to stay, and, helping me avoid the foster system and the cops. Plus we were running out of food in our place. I thought we deserved a hot meal.” Neal said, smiling softly as he rested his hands on the newspaper he'd pulled off of the shelves before she got here.
“I don't. But, on some level, this was my 'home' before I met you. And still is now. I was placed in the foster system here after all.” Neal had never felt a home anywhere, but, for him Arizona had been the only place he'd ever known since Arendelle. Watching Lily take the newspaper, he tried saying something in response, but, he found himself just starting to eat the eggs in front of him instead. There was a reason he had that newspaper, and, it was the answer to a lot of their troubles. Neal shook his head at her question “What no?” Neal said, before flipping the page back on. “This. A bar mitzvah. Which means they'll be people with pockets full of cash, because it's a tradition at those things. And, with the age that boys have to be, they'll be kids everywhere. So, blending in will be easy. And, if anyone asks, we'll say that we know the boy from when I had my bar mitzvah a few months ago.” Neal paused and took another bite of his food, before looking back up at Lily. “What do you say? Wanna crash a party?” |

Neal was always thinking a head for them, this meal as an example was perfection. It lifted spirits an filled her belly. Noticing his gloomy broody expression on his face.hey earth to Neal earth o Neal what's the matter ? You look sad are you okay? there were times when we would get this far off look and lily would worry just because that mood would last for days . it made her think he would leave soon and without a goodbye.
But the sheer mention of a party Lily perked right up shoving a pancake into mouth . chewin as he explained . so clever so very clever , if this works out we could start doing more parties less road work. This could really be the start to easy street . very nicely done Neal sipping on her hot cocoa. Then she frowned just as quickly but we don't have dresser outift living on the streets hasn't given us the proper time to dress to the nines . maybe they could steal something quick before the party.

Neal Cassidy | Neal had always been one to plan ahead when it came to anything. Especially when it came to taking care of himself, and, others he cared about. No matter how limited that may have been in his life. His gaze had seemed to go elsewhere, but, he hadn't really noticed. Even if Lily had. “What?” Neal said, softly in confusion, shaking his head bringing him out of his thoughts. “Yeah, I'm fine. Just some thoughts in my head, that I don't want to have in there. And being here in Arizona, it's just bringing back some not so good memories.” Neal, secretly worried that someone would find and recognise him here, and, his social worker would find him, and, drag him away back to those foster homes and away from Lily.
His expression and mood changed as he mentioned his plan to get some extra cash, by crashing a party. Neal finished explaining before eating some more of his eggs, and, waiting for Lily to speak. “That's what I thought. There's only so much you can get from the streets. Thanks Lily.” Neal smiled at Lily, as he rested his hands around his mug of hot cocoa, letting it warm him up. “Yeah, I did think about that. But, I have an idea for that. Once we finish here just follow me, and, I'll sort it out.” Neal said, raising his eyebrows at Lily, before finishing up his eggs. |
