N ew same game Lily thought pulling the straps of her back pack up. Neal and her had been riding in the back of train cart for little over day or two. Arizona was the promise land compared to Minnesota. At least in weather wise shrugging off her jean jacket back dropping that to the side walk .tying the sleeves around her waist. The ebony haired teen glanced about turning her head to gaze at Neal. first thing we have to do is fine proper paper work so no one can find out about us . bending down yanking her bag up flinging it on to her back. The town was ripe for the picking lots of tourists plenty of opportunities to grab some money here and there. Are you wanting to nab and grab for few days or start casing some places? looking at all the busy people stroll by them maps and cameras in hands . wallets easy for the picking .

Neal didn't know how long it had been since he'd met Lily. But, he knew they'd been on this train for a couple of days. He was headed back to Arizona, the place where he was registered in the foster system, and, he was sure someone would be looking for him. By now he was sure his social worker had been contacted, and, in return the police. He didn't let this get to him though, Neal was free and he finally had someone there to be a friend. Pulling off his flannel shirt, Neal shoved it into his backpack, it was the weather difference between Minnesota and Arizona, of course he already knew that.
“Yeah, paperwork first would be a good idea.” Neal reached down and picked up the backpack placing it over his shoulder. The real first thing was hiding from the Arizona police department. Yes, the town was full of tourists with pockets for the picking.
“Why not both? Nab and grab while we case a few places.” Neal smiled at Lily as he glanced around at the citizens wandering the streets. STARRING : NEAL CASSIDY & LILY PAGE WORDS : 184 NOTES : Outfit BANNER CREDIT : TANA TAGGED : @lily

p robably for the best to do both . one equaled quick cash which meant food and shelter for the night. Grabbing the bag slipping on her shoulders . making her way through the crowd. If they were to do this a shopping mall would be better. More people less ways of getting caught. Turning to look behind to see if was coming. But didn't see him frowning for moment pausing . glancing about not seeing him on the street nor the side walks. Did she go to fast move to far a head ? Worry began to set in did he get caught by the foster system? She knew he was concerned about that. Bring her hands to land on top her head . glancing feverly about . lily should have listen she should have said no to this but she couldn't could she always picking the wrong choice . now it might have cost Neal his freedom.

It is definitely best to do both, it's all well and good trying to stay places, but, without money it was worthless anyway, because they couldn't use the money to get guards off of their back for a few days. Neal kept the backpack over his shoulders, as he stepped off the train. He kept his head down as he followed Lily into the crowd, but, soon he felt a grip on his shoulder.
Glancing up Neal saw a guard looking down at him. “Um, hi officer” Neal said, waiting to see what he would say. This is exactly what he was afraid of when they came to Arizona. He looked around hoping to see Lily, but, he couldn't see her anywhere. “Come with me kid” Neal gulped silently as the officer dragged him by his backpack strap.
Neal attempted to call out for anyone, especially Lily, but, then he noticed something about the officer's grip. A small smile grew on his face, as he wormed his way out of his backpack, and, then broke into a run. Like clockwork, the officer dropped his backpack and chased after him. Looking behind him, Neal ran straight back towards the officer before sliding underneath him and grabbing his backpack before bolting as fast as he could, before noticing Lily and grabbing her hand gently dragging her into a store close by, ducking down as he did so. Lily didn't have time to react Neal was already running and yanking her along. Turning her to see what the big deal was only noticing that a cop was running after them. Thinking quickly lily pull down a display knocking over cans all over the Ilse. Seeing people slip and fall over was actually funny turning about focusing on running away . pointing to the back of the store through the swinging doors over there leading Neal toward the right through workers knocking over some more boxes. If the cop was going after them then he better work for arrest. Lily held on to Neal tighter she wasn't about to let go . going through the loading dock door once we get out we head toward more crowded area . it would be easier to blend in and cop won't be able to find them in a sea of faces.

| Neal didn't give enough pause for Lily to speak, he knew he had to hurry if he was going to get away from the cops. If both of them were. Neal watched as Lily stopped suddenly, and, pulled down a display. As much as he would've enjoyed seeing the cop slip over, he had running to do. Feeling the grip on his hand, Neal smiled softly as he nodded at Lily's words before heading towards the doors she was pointed at. As they knocked over the boxes of the workers, Neal glanced back “Sorry about that.”
If this officer wanted to either arrest him or send him back to the system then they would have to work at it. Neal wasn't going anywhere, and, he smiled softly as Lily gripped tighter onto his hand. Following Lily out the door, Neal nodded gently. “Got it. Go into the crowd.” Neal knew that once they were in the crowd, they wouldn't be able to find him in it.

Pulling Neal in to what seemed to be group of school kids relax and act bored lily held his hand still taking slow breaths. Wanting to calm her heart rate she hadn't been around kids her age since we'll since juvenile jail. Misdemeanor after misdemeanor had landed her there, frowning it made Lily think back to her adoptive parents . there in the in court room she remembered her father disowning her. Wiping under her eyes lily suddenly felt extremely sensitive the area seems safe you want to head back? Grumbling wanting to get far away from the other teens we can't go back to where we dropped our stuff and besides I don't think the cop would leave behind evidence. which meant they were ground zero once more .

Neal Cassidy | Feeling himself being pulled, Neal glanced around and noticed that they were surrounded by a small group of school kids. “Now that I can do.” Neal smiled as he noticed Lily's grip still on his hand. Neal hadn't been around people his own age since the group home, and, those weren't exactly good memories. It was one turn-down or return after another that had dropped him in those places. He found himself flashing back to the last one he'd been in before meeting Lily. Sitting there on adoption day, with everyone being there for him. And everyone walking right past him, instead focusing on the younger kids, or the other ones in the home. Neal blinked back tears in his eyes, as he came back into reality. “Yeah, I think that could be a good idea.” Neal said, not wanting to be here with these teens for that much longer. “It's ok, I needed some new stuff anyway. I don't think so either, but, there's always a way to find out if we get back there.” Neal knew that they were once again at the beginning, but, he didn't mind.
