Deep down Neal knew that there was the possibility that his papa wouldn't want to help, but, it was his father so he wanted to at least believe that he wanted to help. But, deep down the doubt was there as it always had been. That he wouldn't want to help get rid of the power for good.
Neal knew that he never let anyone tell him what to do, mainly because he'd been doing everything by himself from the moment he landed in this world at 14. However, with August, it was easier to say he'd do this one thing, since he knew that what Emma would be getting was a chance at a better life, one without him.
Lowering his head down, he focused on the coffee pot instead of focusing on what had caused him to lose Emma. Neal poured it into the mugs before he put the pot down, and, went to add a sugar to his own mug. Neal looked up as she asked whether August was in town, “Yeah, as far as I know he is. I haven't interacted with him in a while.” Neal said, as he handed Lily the other mug of coffee.

Taking the mug in her hands the dark liquid began to boil , at her rage at what happen to her friends. Placing the mug back on the counter she had only freaked her self out more. Dragon was one thing but adding more magic was to much. Brushing it off as her rage and that the dragon was trying get out.
when can we start talking to dad? I think the sooner the better yes? Emma kind of depend on more of now then a later. Lily wanted a something to take her mind off the puppet any how at the moment.
Snow and Charming have the dagger if your wondering so thats safe for now. But it is only matter of time till a villain get itchy Neal cause god knows in this town its never a flipping dull day.

Neal watched Lily with the mug of coffee, and, he focused on letting the coffee warm up his hands, the warm liquid actually helping. He raised his eyebrows in surprise as Lily seemed to make hers boil by looking at it. It did admittedly freak him out a bit, but, he didn't say anything about it. He'd seen worse things growing up, especially from his father.
“Well, once I know he's up could be fine. Yeah, sooner rather then later.” Neal knew that some of the moments in his life, would've been better with this line of thinking, especially when it came to his father. His whole childhood could've been different, if only his father had found or come back for him sooner.
“I am glad to hear that. You're right, everyone does it. They get itchy, and, then things just get worse from there. Trust me, I know that from experience.” Neal knew that this town would never have any day of just being dull, but, normal.

Taking a sip of the now simmering coffee the warmth felt great on her throat after changing into a dragon never got to allow her self properly to heal. Watching Neal over the rim of the mug . He seemed to be doing better then in the past I know this cliche but what have you been up to since I last saw you ? grinning I know dorky question maybe just letting me take a look around at your dad's study or evil laboratory
Laughing lightly she wasn't really kidding though aren't evil doers having the laboratory with all the bells and whistles ? Setting her cup on to the counter not wanting to spill any thing in the house i n case they did go off in to the Dark Ones man cave.
who you telling here less then a week and a whole bunch crazy leaning against the counter top crossing her arms . shaking her sighing I've been thinking about growing up in this craziness and I'm just amazed by how much...I enjoy it . minus what has happen to Emma its been fun in a way. I know I'm demented

Neal took a sip of the coffee in the mug before placing it down on the table. He still wasn't used to warm drinks on a regular basis, and, it warmed up his insides a lot. He smiled at Lily, as she looked at him, before he fiddled with some stuff on his papa's counter. Neal was definitely better this time around, he had his family. His real family. “The cliché questions are always the best when you have to get to know someone from scratch again. That is a lot to fill in, maybe we can hang out for real and I'll fill you in properly.” Neal let a small smile escape his lips. “Hey, the best questions are. I don't know if he has a laboratory persay, but, I can show you his study.”
He wasn't one to normally venture into those places of his father's, but, his study was one that he had found, not long after he started looking at this place. Neal realised it actually looked kind of normal, more normal then he was expecting. Neal stirred the cup in his hands a couple more times before placing it on the counter again. He wasn't sure that his papa would like coffee being spilt all over the place.
“Well, give it a few more. It will probably seem normal.” Neal hadn't been here that long himself, but, from what he'd experienced this was true. Neal leant forward on his arms as he leant on the counter, “It's ok, you're not demented. I've been thinking the same thing. If I had continued to grow up in the craziness of all of this stuff you know? There are still certain parts I don't like so much, but, sometimes it can be fun here in the town. At least it's never dull at least.”

This felt good to be able to be able to hang with Neal once more. Arching a brow at the word study. How very normal of the dark one to have study. Smiling a bit more at the thought shouldn't he have like an evil study. Maybe she should be more open minded. With her mother being Maleficent it made a bit more sense those ideas of evil were really over fabricated cartoons of the truth.
lead the way to the study lifting off counter ducking her head some hair falling forward blocking face. spending sometime together would be fun . I think I was told this town has nice bar I think it's called the rabbit hole pushing back brown strands . I might even be able to show a thing or two at pool table. I think I still owe you a few hundred.
Feeling a bit more relieved over the fact that she didn't have to feel a bit odd about enjoying the chaos perhaps it's in her blood. normal as this world normal or fairytales characters normal?

Neal thought it felt good spending time with Lily again. Saying that his father had a study, rather then an evil laboratory made him realise just how much his father had seemed to have changed. Making himself seem normal and human. Of course, he was the son of Rumpelstiltskin so, normal was hard to be. Especially now that he's back in his life.
“Ok then.” Neal said, smiling softly at her. A soft chuckle escaped his lips as Lily's hair fell in front of her face. “Yeah, it would be. Like old times. The Rabbit Hole, yeah it's an interesting place. Been there a couple of times. Although with a name like that, it's a wonder no-one picked up on the curse thing.” There were a few things around this town, that made things even harder to understand how no-one else knew. “You know what? You're on. I think you're right about owing me.”
“I think it's a bit of both, but, I'll let you figure it out.” Neal winked with a smirk before grabbing his jacket, and, moving closer towards Lily. “Come on the study's this way.” Neal went to take the lead, and, waited to see if Lily would follow him.

Watching Neal move a head of her things never really changed did it? He lead and she followed. Shaking her head smirking jamming her hands into the pockets of her coat. oh my god I know like really people the signs were there and you all ignored them like seriously laughing lightly it was surprisingly that a savior was even needed. But when you play the victim role for nearly thirty years I guess people can go blind to the flashing neon signs.
Leaning her head back her laugh went to a dry chuckle is that a bet? I mean if I remember I won sometimes it's not my fault you cheated slight of hand if I remembered teasing Neal pulling her hands out Lily doing some jazz hands to finish out the playful mock. Wanting to make a light subject of letting her decide . great gaint of catch a tiger by the toe.
Winking moving around Neal peaking down the hall way . pausing right into next to him in the door way so ace which way?

NEAL CASSIDYtags @lily;; etc ;; This felt just like old times, leading the way and Lily following. Neal kept his hands in the pockets of his jacket as he stood there with Lily. “I know seriously. I can't believe Henry was the only one that caught on.” Neal said, chuckling softly. It didn't really surprise him all that much that Emma was needed. He knew that this curse was his father's doing and that always had a loophole in anything.
Neal raised his eyebrows and tilted his head “Oh you bet it is. What, excuse me I did not cheat at anything. It's not my fault I was lucky.” Neal said, smiling softly at Lily. This was a lot like the first time they were together. Squabbling like brother and sister, the one thing neither of them had had.
Smiling at Lily as she walked around him, Neal just watched her as he continued to walk, the two of them stopping next to each other. “This way” Neal said, pointing to the left before walking down the hall.

Spinning about in the hall way rolling her eyes in sarcasm , did he really pull the lucky card on her . lucky ? Really the same guy who taught me how to read people reactions when I play poker . or how to pick pocket you never cheat noooo she laughed lightly before spotting the open door to what she assumed was the study. Papers were scattered all over the floor . stacks and piles of books every where . beneath or over mess were some beautiful piece of antique furniture. did your father fire the maid? And is there a section where we need to begin? perfect chaos this was how she could describe the room. Sighing it was almost bit overwhelming. Emma needed help and here they were going be stuck in the old dark ones hot mess of filing system. Glancing at Neal I now see where you got your cleaning habits from. needing to make jokes not because she didn't understand the urgency but because Lily was stressed and higher her stress levels got more likely she could another Dragon attack .
