not mayo fan that is getting put into the memory bank. Oh Mr. Cassidy are you flirting with me? teasing him happy that Neal was relaxing enough to allow his walls to come down enough play and flirt. Nodding her head thinking back at what he said about being alone. Drumming her fingers crossed the plastic waiting for the waitress to come.
back from where I'm from we believe in a thing called Feu follet or will-o- wisp they lead the lost to where they are meant to be. Maybe just maybe we where meant to meet so then we won't be so lost any more.
Smiling tucking some hair behind her ears , I swear I'm not crazy just believing in something makes the world a little less cold don't you agree?

“Yeah no mayo. I haven't liked it in years. And I may be a little bit.” Neal was surprised that his walls had gone down this much in the short time he'd known this girl. Since the whole having to leave Emma thing, his walls had become a lot stronger then they once were.
The words about being alone made Neal lower his head and run his fingertips along the table as the two of them waited for the waitress to come.
“Being led to where I'm meant to be sounds nice. Just letting me know I have somewhere to belong or that it's where I'm meant to be. You know what I think you may be right, maybe, we were meant to meet to allow us to feel completed again.”
Neal ran his hand through his hair as he looked up at Tamara. “Oh I don't think you're crazy. Belief in something can be the strongest thing you can have sometimes. Yeah, I guess I do agree with that.”

Neal Cassidy so belief was big for the guy alright that was useful . Her Grams believed in kinds of hoodoo and voodoo to make her know that belief is powerful thing. those to culture thrived on belief without that then the magic held nothing. leaning her elbows on the table she rested her chin on the open palms. Mon Cher we all have a place to be you just have to hold on to faith and hope that you will make it there. without those two things then well I don't care if you have the nicest house in all the world you don't have nutthin till you have a little hope to fill in the edges. laughing lightly tucking her head down, you know if you agree and believe let me show you something I learnt back in New Orleans removing her hands from under her chin. Holding a out stretched hand toward Neal , once he gave her his hand she would do a simple palm reading nothing to extreme. im going to read your future Mr. Cassidy she smiled while she spoke.

There was alot that Neal believed in, but, he wasn't sure why when every real thing or person he'd ever believed in had let him down or left him behind. And yet Neal stil held onto some kind of belief that there was something who wasn't going to take that belief for granted. Although, he was also realistic and knew that this may not be true, no matter how much he believed in or hoped for it. "I might make it there one day. I just don't know where that's meant to be yet. And who it's meant to be with. I'm sure I will figure it out soon. As for the hope thing, that is something I stopped having a long time ago, because it always let me down."
Neal smiled at Tamara's laugh, and, he looked down at his own hands as Tamara looked down as well. "What kind of thing?" Neal asked, suddenly having a piped up curiosity. All the stuff he'd learnt in his childhood probably wouldn't have been able to be done or shown to Tamara or to anyone in this world without people thinking he was insane. Neal looked up as Tamara held out her palm, she was obviously waiting for his. At her comment about what she would do, he had his doubts. He didn't really need a palm read to know that he would never find a home again, and, would always be alone. Still it wouldn't kill him to give it a go he guessed, and, so he lifted up his palm and held it out for her. "Ok, read away" Neal said, as he placed his palm onto hers.

Tsking as she took his hand into her's a life without hope what kind of life is that? pressing down to flatten his palm. Remembering how she was taught . studying the lines closely she would have to guess on some things not every line was clear.
I see a great journey that was before you. Many a years you traveled this path alone with no comfort. fingers tips caressing over the soft flesh of Neal's palm. no guidance along the way no wonder your so guarded. Mon cher.
Tsking some more clucking her tongue against the roof of her mouth but their is hope , a boy will lead you to the place you've craved the most Neal. pushing his fingers into his palm to create a fist. She was done but it was enough to make him curious if he desired it.

“The kind I'm used to.” Neal said, sighing softly as he watched Tamara look at his palm. There was something about this woman's touch that he found comforting. If she was looking for lifelines, well, then she would see a lot of his life. His long life.
“Well, I already knew that part. No-one around, at least no-one that stayed.” Neal remembered everyone in his life, and, how all of them had either left or he'd lost in some other way. Feeling his body tingle as Tamara caressed his palm. “I've had to learn it on my own. Being guarded was the best way to be in my opinion.”
Neal wasn't sure what he could hear that would be helpful to him, but, then he heard that word hope in his future. What kind of boy? And would he really help lead him to what he really did crave? Home and a family. “What boy? I don't know any of those. But, I guess that's why they call it the future right?” Neal asked, smiling softly.

picking up her fork back up . nodding her head slicing through the pie. That's exactly right just because you haven't met this boy doesn't mean he isn't out there. Your path could be starting to develop as we speak. biting down on to the cripy flaky dessert. Tamara kept her eyes locked with the man across from her. now just because a few couldn't see a good thing don't let those experiences ruin you. Besides it's sounds like you trusted the wrong people .
Picking up her napkin wiping her mouth off . now you can't mean that being guard will make you lose out on all kinds of things. Love , family , home adventure come now you don't want miss out on those now do you ? no one could be this guarded with walls so high.

NEAL CASSIDYtags @tamara;; etc ;; “I guess that's true, there's things I know are out there that I haven't seen yet. Maybe it is, who knows?” Neal took a bite of the food in front of him, before glancing up at Tamara. A small smile grew on his face as he heard Tamara speak those words. “If I am a good thing then why did so many people make it seem otherwise? I didn't expect some of them to be the wrong people to trust. But, maybe you're right.”
Neal rested his elbows on the table, and, placed his chin on his fists as he looked at her. “I didn't use to want it, I used to always want that. I've had adventures trust me, but, everytime I've had anything close to home or love, I've lost it. So what's the point in hoping for it anymore?” Neal asked, remembering the countless 'homes' he'd had. With his father, the Darlings, Lily and Emma. And all of them went away. Which had caused his walls to go up in the first place, and just grow stronger over time.

I've become so Numb! Smiling shyly Tamara couldn't help it she had met some interesting characters over the years but Neal Cassidy was unequaled in the interesting department. Crumpling the napkin up in her hands. Long ebony fingers curled about the paper. the reason is because so many people will cut there noses off to spite themselves. They don't know a good thing when its staring at them. blinking his posture seemed more relaxed almost playful now as gaze at him. So different from when they first met not so long ago.
listen if you still want that you can't close your self off . your in New York with over a million single women . someone out there has to be your dream girl .

Neal had met his fair share of interesting people, and, even less of them had been kind to him, but, Tamara was one of the kind ones he'd faced, and, was definitely intriguing. “I guess you're right. They care more about anything else, and, then none of them cared about me.” Neal said. His posture had relaxed up a bit, the same way he always did once he felt comfortable around someone.
“Closing myself off is what I've done best. I've been trying to work on it. Yeah, it is a big city. Maybe, you're right, maybe she is out there.” ### ■ @tamara ■ notes
