Finally after quite some time they had gotten their hands on a motel room which had a clean bathroom. It took them at least eight other rooms to achieve that. While Neal was taking a nap on the bed of the old motel, Emma had been taking a shower. The steam and warm water made her relax completely and forget about the quite risky life they were leading. Their life was about running, stealing and trying to survive. Which brought Emma’s mind onto the fact they had to make sure to have something to eat for the next couple of days. She wrapped a towel around her waist and brought her wet hair up with one of the other towels that were at the bathroom before she walked towards the bed. “Don’t forget to snore or I’m seriously starting to doubt if you aren’t faking you’re asleep right now.” Emma said with a smile on her face as she sat down on the edge of the bed. “You should take a shower too, I saved some hot water plus there are still unused and soft towels left.”Emma took everything she could at the motel rooms. Even if people left things behind that they weren’t needing anymore or forgot, Emma always checked if there was something the both of them could use. Neal Cassidy

After so much searching, Neal and Emma had finally found a room with a clean bathroom in this stinking motel. Neal had decided to take a nap on the bed, he was exhausted for some reason. He just seemed to be tired a lot these days. The truth was, he was trying to fall asleep, but, the nightmare was coming to his head again. He just tried to keep himself from calling out again, to stop Emma from worrying too much about it. He lay awake, but, with his eyes closed as he heard Emma turn off the shower and come out of it. Neal turned to face the window, as he continued to try and sleep again. At Emma's words, he smiled softly, before letting out a soft, but, very discrete snore. Neal moved himself back onto his back and turned to face her “Now, how am I supposed to sleep?” Neal said, lying on his arm on the side and then started kissing her arm “When you are wearing nothing, but, that?” Neal moved himself closer before pulling Emma down beside him and kissing her properly. Emma let out a giggle when he pulled her next to him onto the bed and answered his sudden kissing spree with her own. “who knows, I might just want to challenge you” she said as both of their lips parted. She let her head rest onto his chest while one of her hands caressed his stomach. “You know where I’m really craving for?” looking up to his face. “A candy bar. One with extra nuts and chocolate.” Every time they would steal things from a shop she stole a candy bar. The taste of it was heavenly and when it was for free it was tasting even better. “I had a little idea for our next Bonnie & Clyde moment” She pushed herself off from his chest and sat down next to him, pulling up the towel around her waist properly so it was still covering her chest. “You want to know the idea?” a playful smile appeared on her face as she quickly got up from the bed and moved back towards the bathroom. “Wait here and you will see my idea in just a few minutes. I’m even impressed by it myself.” Emma laughed before she entered the bathroom and prepared what she had in mind. Neal was going to be rather excited about it or the complete opposite. At least she would find it out in just a couple of minutes. Neal Cassidy

Neal smiled softly, as he kept kissing her, not wanting to let her go. “Well, that doesn't surprise me” Neal said, looking at Emma as their lips parted. As Emma rested her head on his chest he stroked her hair softly and enjoyed the feeling of having her next to him. “What's that?” Neal asked, looking down at her, smiling as she looked up at him. “I'm sure we could work something out for you.” Neal said, as he gently kissed the top of her head. He knew that every heist they did, Emma always snatched a candy bar. The same way, he always snatched a pack of crisps, it was just something he had a connection to. “Really? And what is that?” Neal asked, looking down at Emma. As Emma sat up properly, he moved back slightly, allowing her more room, before he smiled at her. “Of course I want to hear it.” Neal said, smiling, intrigued by what Emma was planning. “Alright, I'll wait here” Neal said, as he leant back on his elbows, waiting for Emma to come back out of the bathroom. With Emma, Neal felt something he hadn't in a long time, he felt happiness and a sense of belonging. The fact that she had a plan meant that Emma was learning well from him after all, he was curious as to what it was. Emma Swan

A stuffed bag, a quite short and thin dress and some blush. That was all it would take to bring this plan into gear. Emma owned two bags but today only one would do. She took a hold of one of the still clean towels and stuffed it inside one of her bags where she brought the strap around her waist with. A few strokes and pushes was all it need to look similar to a swollen stomach. She already started to smile by how she was going to look in just a matter of seconds. Quickly she put on the dress that had little flower prints on it before she looked into the mirror. Looking at herself in awe. This really looked as if it was real. She really did a very good impression of being pregnant right now and not just a little bit but like really pregnant. It looked as if she was at 8 months of pregnancy. Emma brought both her hands onto her fake swollen stomach and walked out of the bathroom. She was way too curious on how Neal his face was going to look like by this sight. “Tadaa” she moved closer to him and turned in front of him around like models would do at the end of a catwalk. “I present to you, our baby.” She was excited about her plan. This really had to work. “So, how do I look?” she said as she bit her bottom lip. Neal Cassidy

Neal sat down while waiting for Emma to come out of the bathroom, and as he looked around, he decided to go through the drawers to see if there was anything they could use. Opening them, he found a few things, but, not a lot that would come in handy. Neal closed the drawer, before checking the others. “These could come in handy later.” Neal said, as he spotted a few left-over elastic bands and paper-clips. It wasn't like he hadn't used those things before, he'd picked so many locks with those exact things. Taking another look around the room, he scanned the tables and the bed itself to see if there was anything else there, but, when he saw there wasn't, he sat back down on the bed and waited for Emma to come back out “You ok in...” Neal started to call out, but, stopped as he saw her come out of the bathroom. Neal couldn't help, but, chuckle as she entered the room the way she did. He then raised his eyebrows in awe, smiling at her. “It's brilliant” Neal said, shifting his body forward and looking at her. At her question, he stood up and placed his hands in his pockets before smiling at her. “You look great.” Neal said, gently running his hands over their 'baby', “So what are we having? A boy or a girl?” Neal asked, as he couldn't fight back a chuckle. Emma Swan

Emma couldn’t help but to chuckle at this whole scene herself. She looked as if she was about to blow and it would only get worse when some of the items they would rob would be add inside her fake belly as well. “Well, I was more thinking about a boy. It would get you into a proud future father role more easily” she poked him a few times in his stomach while her eyes locked with his. “Quite a weird sight to see myself like this. I think I would get crazy if that would happen to me any time soon, definitely when we are having a life like we are having now.” Emma sometimes thought about her future and to how she saw it but those thoughts were quite rare. Every time she dared to do that when she was still in the foster system things only changed into the opposite as how Emma had hoped things would be. “I thought that with me acting as if I’m pregnant we would look less as people who are about to rob a few things. Who expects a future mother and father to do that? No one… Plus, I have some extra storage room this way.” Emma patted her hand onto her belly a few times. “Who knows, maybe the candy bars and bag of chips will start kicking” she gave Neal a wink before continuing. “I can act as if I’m getting contractions so we can leave the place quickly?” Neal Cassidy

Neal had to admit he liked the look of this scene, Emma pregnant and him soon to be a dad. She looked pretty close to due date, and she may 'burst more' after it was full of the food they took from this store. “A boy sounds great. I'd be a proud father with a girl though. Hey, little guy. You ready to come out and meet your parents soon.” Neal said, in a joking tone, as he went to run his hands over his 'son' again. Neal stepped back slightly as Emma poked him in the stomach a few times. “Yeah, it is weird, and while we're in this life it may be a bad idea for this to be real right now.” Neal said. Throughout all of the years since being abandoned, Neal had been dreaming of what his future would be like, and also dreams of what could've been if his papa had actually come with him. Although, everytime he realised that he was still alone, either in the workhouses, on Neverland or in the foster system. His dreams were once again, proven to be just that. Dreams. Dreams of what would never happen. “It makes sense to me. No-one would suspect future parents of stealing anything. Exactly, lots of room for storing all kinds of things. Just like when I was a kid” Neal said, smiling softly. He had used bags like this so many times growing up, now he was working as a team with someone he loved. “You're right, who knows?” Neal smiled at Emma's wink towards him. “Well, yeah you know what they say. Babies can be unpredictable, and can come at the most unexpected times.” Neal said, winking back at Emma. Emma Swan

Emma couldn’t help but to smile at the approval of her plan. It was one that formed in her mind while she was under the shower but she wasn’t sure if it would be a good idea until she’d placed herself down next to Neal onto the bed. When he mentioned that she was right with the fact that it wouldn’t be a good idea for it to be real right now, Emma didn’t know how she had to act. Did he mean that he would love to have children with her some day? Did he really mean that he is seeing a bright future together with her? It was that one sentence that made her happy but at the same time scared. Not for Neal, but for the future. Would she be ready to have a future like that? To have a future together with Neal that would be bright? One with a house, probably a dog and a child running around? Emma tried to hide the emotions that came up by that one sentence and gave him a small smile as wall to hide behind. “Okay, so now that my plan is officially approved, I can get rid of our fake baby” a light chuckle left her mouth and it didn’t take long for her to remove the bag that was underneath her dress. “Much better. At least now I don’t look as if I’ve swallowed a watermelon.” Neal Cassidy

Neal smiled softly at Emma, as he approved her plan. He knew he must've taught her well after all, and Neal loved that she was trying to figure out. Saying these words about it being too early for kids, was something he hoped would scare Emma off, or make things awkward. He had every intention to start a future with Emma, making the two of them an official family, and giving him a very happy future, even if it wasn't what people would've expected. Although, he did worry that he wouldn't be ready for that future. Would he be able to really be a father some day? Neal knew one thing, he would never do to his family what his father did to him. But, he didn't want to think about that now. Yes, he wanted a bright future with Emma, and a house by the beach, just the two of them and maybe a child and pets running around. But, now wasn't the right time to be thinking about that. Instead, he just returned Emma's smile, and put up his walls for now. Neal chuckled softly at Emma's words, "Bye little guy. See you in a little bit." Neal said, waving to their 'baby' as she removed it from underneath her dress. "Well, either way. It still looked great. Even if it wasn't real." Neal said, smiling softly at Emma, gently placing his arm around her. Emma Swan
