"Well that sounds like an interesting story." Belle giggled as she ripped a huge part of the paper off. " So ,do go around town doing good deeds. Because you arriving has been a god sent." She look around library "this would take me forever." Belle turned and gave Ruby a warm smile "again thank you." She turned her attention back to window and finish doing the others in no time. Belle bent down to picked up the paper she dropped on the floor and walked over to trash can threw the trash away. She spied something shine caught her eye it was long skinny and attached to a black box. She bit the inside of her cheek what did Rumpelstiltskin call it... a radio. Belle pick up the little box "ummm Ruby (she held the radio up) do you know how to work this?"

"Believe me, it is quite an interesting story." Red said as she continued to dust off the shelves. When Belle asked her if she ran around doing good deeds, Red let out a sort of a laugh in response.
"Not really, but when I see that someone needs help, I'll try my best to assist them in anyway." Red said as she gave Belle a smile. She was certainly someone who could use help right now. Soon Belle asked her about the radio. "Oh! Yeah here, I'll turn it on for you." Red said as she grabbed the radio from Belle's hands and pushed the on button, and began tuning it so it wouldn't make that fuzzy static noise anymore. After a couple of seconds, Red settled on a rock station. "There we go! That's all you had to do!" Red said as she turned down the volume. She didn't know if Belle liked that kind of music or not.

This thread is set during the curse
Ruby walked into Granny's Diner early in the morning, and switched the sign on the door to show the word "OPEN". Ruby turned on the diner's lights, and did a quick sweep through of the diner, making sure everything was clean. This was how everyday for her began, opening the diner and then being a waitress until late into the night. Ruby did this routine for as long as she could remember, and to be honest she was getting bored of it. She realized how she's never been outside of Storybrooke, ever. She wanted a change, and craved adventure. Ruby sat behind the counter, elbows propped on the marble as she waited for customers to arrive. She could tell today was going to be slow.

Before curse
Belle pushed a chart full of books through the empty hallway of StoryBrooke elementary , the library was donating them to the school. The chart kept wanting to turn in the opposite direction which of course made the books want to spill out "No,no,no." She reach a hand out to try to stop the crashing book. Belle pucker her mouth and shook her head and gave a small chortle. " if i had any luck it would be bad luck, i swear." She bent down to start to pick up everything that had fallen.

"Well i would love hear about it sometime ." Belle stated with a smiled as Ruby worked on the radio. When the little black box buzzed then turn into a loud drumming nose she scrunch her face up. " what is this ? Is this what they call music (she laughed a little then the guitar started to play and singer came on) ok maybe its not that bad." Belle walked over to the cleaning supplies and pulling out the polishing cloth and lemon oil for the main check in and out counter. She poured a small amount on to the cloth and began to wipe in slow circle motions over the wood.

"That's music!" Red said as she danced a little bit while she continued to dust off the shelves. It's been a while since she's listened to music. Granny wasn't really the type that allowed her to listen to it all the time. Soon Red had most of the shelves dusted off, and she was exhausted. She didn't realize how much work dusting could be! She found the nearest chair, and sat down in it, and stretched her arms, bringing them back together folded across her chest.
"I'm just taking a small break," Red said as she yawned. "I haven't cleaned this much in a while." Red said as she let out a chuckle. She watched Belle as she continued to clean the counter of the front desk.

Belle looked up and smiled"no problem." She leaned forward against the counter and folded her arms propping herself up a little. "So Ruby where do you work around here? Its just seems everyone has an occupation , I was Lucky to get the library. I just curious about what you do?" She pushed up and went back to buffing the counter.

Red arched her back as she sat up in the chair, and placed her elbows on her knees.
"I work at Granny's Diner." Red said with a shrug, nonchalantly. "I mean, it's alright, but it's kind of boring there. I see the same people everyday." Red said as she examined her nails, which were painted a bright shade of red. "But I do like it, I could never leave. I've tried working with Emma at the Sheriff's Station, but that didn't work out for me." Red said, remembering that awful moment when she found Kathryn's heart, or someone's she never knew.

Belle eyes widen with excitement " you work at the sheriff station , wow that must have been an adventure." She stated as she moved over to the other empty chair and sat down." I always wanted do something with an element of danger ( she tilted her head and crossed her legs at her ankles.) What happen to make you go back to the diner ? " Belle quickly blushed and began to stammer "Not that there is anything wrong with that." She lower her eyes."sometimes i say the wrong thing." Belle snorted a little laugh " sometimes i wonder if being locked up for so long makes you forget how to talk to people ."

"Long story short, I found something that scarred me for life." Red said which was true. She tried forgetting about the heart, but she couldn't. "I came back to the Diner because that's where I knew I would be safe, and everything was the same." Red said as she gave Belle a small smile. "I stayed because that's where I felt the most safe." Red said. When Belle made the comment about being locked up made her forget how to talk to people, Red laughed a little, and shook her head.
"If it did, I can't tell." Red said as she smiled at Belle.
