(After the curse is broken and after the thread Dark side of the heart)
Charming had a lovely time with his wife that day, at least he thought it was his wife where he had a great day with. Actually it was Regina who was still having him under a spell to take revenge against Snow White.
After he told his wife he was going to pick up some things from his work at the sheriffs station first, he decided to enter Granny’s diner for a little while, to drink a coffee and think about how a lovely wife he has.
He opened the door of the diner and walked towards the counter where he took a seat at a high chair. He put his wallet out of his trouser so he could sit more easily and put it on the counter. He looked around for a moment until he saw Ruby. She would probably already know what he wanted to have for a drink. “Hi Ruby” he said with a big smile on his face when she arrived at the opposite side of the counter. “One coffee please, black”

Ruby was busy working the morning shift. Business was booming, which was great for their little diner. When Charming came through the door, her wolf senses told her that something wasn't right. He seemed to be happy...a little too happy to her, seeing what just happened with Snow. But she decided to play along with whatever was going on.
"Hey David," Ruby said. "One black coffee? Coming right up." She told him with a smile. She went back to where the brewer was, and made a pot of coffee. A couple of minutes later, it was done and she brought over a mug to where Charming was sitting. "Here you go!" She said as she set it down in front of him. "How's everything with Snow? Is she doing alright? Or is she still not letting anyone help her?" Ruby asked Charming. She hoped that Snow was okay. Maybe she would pay her a visit after her morning shift.

David waited for Ruby to bring him his coffee. “Thanks” he said with a friendly smile.
“How do you mean how is Snow doing?” he frowned his eyebrows and picked up the coffee to take a little sip from it. “I don’t know how she is, I’ve not visited her the latest time, why? Something happened to her?”
It seemed like there was something going on with Snow, but he didn’t know anything about it. “I’m sorry, I’ve been very busy with work lately, so help me refresh my memory about the news here in town” he said with a smile.

As soon as Charming said that he didn't know how Snow was doing, Ruby definitely knew something was up. She cautiously walked over to Charming. Magic was practically radiating off of his body. He was definitely under a spell. Ruby backed away, and over to behind the counter, where she felt the safest.
"You don't know? David your wife just killed Regina's mother! How do you think she's feeling?" Ruby stared at Charming in disbelief. Suddenly, Ruby's wolf nose caught another scent. It was Regina's. "What's gotten into you, David?" Ruby asked. There was something going on and she wanted answers.

“wh.. what? My wife? What are you talking about Ruby? Snow isn’t my wife, I hardly know her…” he put down his coffee on the counter “Did Snow killed my wife’s mother?” he asked almost in shock. “Ruby I think you had too much coffee yourself, you are talking nonsense right now. If Snow would have done that I would have known from my wife, Regina”
He shook his head in disbelief by what Ruby was telling him. “Really Ruby, I have no idea what you are talking about, but please stop calling Snow my wife” he said in a whispery tone “People may start to think that I’m cheating on my wife with someone I hardly know”

Ruby was shocked now, even though it was clear that Charming was under some sort of spell. He just called Regina his wife! Ruby let out a low growl.
"I can't believe what's coming out of your mouth right now! Listen to yourself, David! Regina put you under a spell, trying to make you think that you're her husband, so that she can use you against Snow, who's your real wife." Ruby shook her head. "If I knew what spell you were under, then I would've gone to Rumpelstiltskin. But since I don't know what the hell you're under, then I'm just going to wait until something makes you remember." Ruby said. She was annoyed now, and somewhat furious.

David laughed in disbelief “oh come on Ruby, you should hear yourself right now! Under a spell” he shook his head again “If Regina isn’t my wife, then how is it possible that I don’t remember one time together with Snow and a lot of times together with Regina, who is my wife” He got a bit upset himself by the things that Ruby was telling. “I think I better go, and you should stay away from the coffee” He put his hand on his wallet to open it, takes out some money and puts it on the counter “you can keep the change, like a normal husband I’m going back to my wife now”

Ruby furrowed her eyebrows. She was actually hurt by Charming's remark.
"For your information, Charming, I was born with that curse. There's no way for me to get rid of it." Ruby growled out those last words. "You on the other hand, can. But it looks like you're perfectly happy being under this spell. I can't wait until Snow hears about this." Ruby said as she shook her head, and crossed her arms over her chest. "You know what? I might as well tell her what's going on. Maybe she'll be able to knock some sense into you." Ruby said. She was getting mad at Charming's stubbornness.

Charming tried to hold in his words he first wanted to say, Ruby was driving him crazy today. She never act like that before against him, was she completely insane? Maybe Granny finally did it, and drove her crazy.
He hold his arms stretched in front of him, trying to stop Ruby from telling all those things, while taking some steps backwards, closer to the diner’s entrance door. “Ruby, please, stop all this nonsense you are telling. And of course I am happy” he saw that look on Ruby’s face “no not with that spell you are suggesting I’m under, but I’m happy that I can spend some time with my wife today. Why are you still coming up with things like Snow is my wife, and stuff like that? I…” he let out a loud sigh. “You know what, I think I better go now” He opened the door and walked outside, slowly closing it and giving Ruby one last look before he turned himself around and shook his head “What the hell was wrong with her today?” he asked himself.

Ruby was taken aback by what Charming was telling her. Did he really not remember Snow at all? After all they had been through, and what they were supposedly going through now? Ruby was beyond furious with Charming right now. She was not about to let him hurt her best friend through some silly spell. Without warning, she could feel the wolf part of her coming out. She ran full sprint after Charming, who was leaving the diner, and tackled him to the ground, as wolf. She was glad she was able to transform into a wolf on command now. She growled in his face, her teeth showing and her eyes filled with hatred. She pinned Charming to the ground with her forepaws, and waited to see what he would do.
