Before the curse is broken
Regina popped the hood of her car, she leaned forward looking at the engine trying to tell what was wrong with the car. Of course she already knew , the starter sat in her trunk but that wasn't why she was putting on the show. Oh no The Mayor was parked across the street from the animal shelter this was bait.
When some one said her name she jumped causing her to hit the back of her head against the underside of the hood. Regina hissed in pain turning around slowly , only to find her knight in plaid armor. "Hello David you wouldn't know anything about cars would you?" She smiled wide and batted her eyes.

“Oh I’m sorry, I did not mean to scare you” he said while he crossed the road walking towards the mayor. He stood next to Regina with a friendly smile “Well, actually I do know a bit about cars, I suppose you need some help?” He didn’t wait for the mayor to answer that cause it was quite obvious that she needed his help. He turned himself to her car and leaned forward to check what would be wrong with it. “Hmm I think If I just put a starter on your engine that it will be fixed. It’s just the battery. Do you have a starter yourself? Cause I have one in my truck somewhere.

Regina made a oh face "No I'm sorry I don't have one of those...shouldn't it be on the car already?" She asked looking over his shoulder. The Mayor internally kicked herself, of course he would know how to fix cars. She had to stop herself from rolling her eyes, I knew I should have gone with tripping in the animal shelter.
"Thank you for doing this me David, if it's to much I can always call an tow truck." She tried her best sweet and innocent smile. "Besides I just got groceries, I don't want them to spoil." Regina stated as she patted his arm.

“Oh well no problem if you don’t have one, I can get mine, then it should do it.” He gave the mayor a friendly smile after she patted his arm. “I will be back in a second, don’t worry your groceries won’t be spoiled, I will work it out quickly” He ran to the other side of the road again where his truck was standing, searching in the container at the back of his truck for his starter. He found it after he pushed away some stuff and grabbed it. Now he only needed to drive his own car closer to the Mayors one. He opened the car door and entered it, starting the engine. He drove his car and parked it that way so his hood of the car was close to hers.
He got out of his car and took the starter. “Okay let’s connect them and then let it load, normally you will be able to drive again after that.” He took out his jacket, not wanting to make it dirty, since he wasn’t that good in washing clothes. It’s much too complicated. He put his jacket on top of the mayors car before he started to connect both cars with each other. “Now we have to wait just a few minutes, and then it will be fixed”

Regina nodded waited for the starter to charge, she crossed her arms leaned against the bumper looking about the town. Sighing out loud god this was an epic fail, rubbing her brow bone."Again thank you David , Henry gets worried when I don't get home on time. In fact I should call him to let him know what is going on." She reach in her purse to pull out her cell phone. The brunette pretended to dial home held it up to her ear in reality she dial her office voice mail. "Hi Sweet heart, I will be...oh your going to go to appointment with Archie and then dinner, no I'm not mad. No everything is fine love you to."
Regina hung up the phone pacing back into her purse, sue looked up at David giving him a tight lipped smile. "Guess I don't have worry about him being upset." She looked down at the ground , Regina had to bit the inside of her cheek from smiling and laughing. "David as way of say thank you for helping me and being my knight in shining armor , you should let me make you dinner. It's the least I could do besides I brought all the ingredients for lasagna . It would be a shame to let all that go to waste."

David smiled back at the mayor while she was calling her son. After she asked if he would like to come for dinner he actually couldn’t say no to that. He knew that if he didn’t he would be eating alone probably, since Kathryn wasn’t talking that much to him the latest time. And he could also use a bit of company now, with the whole situation between him and Mary Margaret. But he wasn’t really sure if it was a good idea to go to the mayor’s house. If people would see them together, they could start talking about nonsense, which they liked to do about him the latest time as well.
“Okay, that sounds good to me” he crossed his arms in front of him, seeing that Regina’s car is almost finished. “it’s been a while since I had lasagne before, I’m sure it will taste great” he gave her a smile again, before he grabbed the starter again. “I think it needs to be working again now, or do you prefer me to take you home with my truck, so you can pick up your car later?”

A large smile spread across Regina's face."Alright, sounds like we have a plan. I've been told I make a killer one." She bit the inside her cheek from busting out laughing at her little joke. "Ok well let's try it to see." She walk to the driver side door open it sat down in the car . She looked up crossing her fingers with one hand and with other hand she turn the starter. Please please don't work Regina plead in her mind...
When the car didn't start, she brought her eyes up to David's face."Thank you for trying , I really do appreciated." The brunette got out and leaned against the car ."If you don't mind to giving me a ride home, I could use one."

“Hmm well I think I will have to do that now” he said with a smile. “Maybe you better call the tow truck tomorrow for your car then and let him fixed” He walked towards the mayor to open her car door, and took out all the grocery bags she had standing in it. “I will put these in my truck and then we are ready to go” he crossed the road, holding the bags, while the mayor followed him to his truck. He put the bags in the back of his truck before he opened the driver seat door. “You have to pull hard on the handle on that side of the truck, that’s something I need to let fixed myself” he said with a smile before he got into the car, waiting for the mayor to get in as well.
After she got in he started the engine and drove to her house. They arrived on the mayor’s house drive way and David turned off the engine.

When they got to the Mill's house Regina smiled a little and open the door when the car stop. "It shouldn't take very long for dinner to cook. If you want you can go relax in the living room while I unload everything."
Regina walked into the home carrying the bags she pointed him toward the living room "If there is anything you would like don't be afraid to ask, I want you to be comfortable here." The sound of her heels clicking across the floor were the only sound in the house now. She quickly unloaded all the groceries and began to start making dinner. The kitchen swinging door open slightly David popped his head around the bright white door. "Is something I can help you with David?"

David was sitting in the sofa, one leg over the other, holding one arm on the top of the sofa. He looked around, and saw some paintings at the wall, even a framed drawing of Henry when he was little. When he looked at the other side of the living room he noticed a mini bar, and a lot of classic furniture. He noticed that the colour white was present a lot.
He started to get thirsty, and decided to ask the mayor for some water or something else to drink.
He stood up from his seat and walked to the kitchen where the mayor was busy making dinner. He popped his head around the bright white door.
“Well actually, I was wondering if you would have a bit of water or something. I’m a little bit thirsty.” He walked into the kitchen and waited next to the kitchen counter.
