Ever since all of them had returned from Camelot, Neal had been more determined then ever to make sure everything was up to scratch with his skills when it came to fighting. Neal had read about the Camelot characters when he was a kid, but, if the rest of this town was anything to go off then some of the stories would be different, and, the people may have been written wrong as well. Neal didn't want to take any chances when it came to anything. He may have never set foot in Camelot with the rest of them, but, Neal knew better then anyone what lands could do to people sometimes. Neverland had changed him temporarily when he was there, maybe Camelot had changed some of the people here. He still had his old cutlass from his time aboard Hook's ship, so, he decided to head out to the stables to practice. Neal didn't know why he'd decided on here, instead of the park, but, it could've been because there was something soft to land on if he lost his balance. As he got into his zone of fight preparation, Neal managed to zone everything and everyone else out. And just focus on getting all of that right. Which is why he didn't hear someone else entering the stables, and, just standing still and watching him as he practiced his sword wielding skills. @lancelot Outfit

Bringing his horse into the stables. The animal would get a far better treatment then what he would be getting here. Soon now that he knew Morgana was here along with Arthur . Things in the tiny town of Storybrooke would get interesting quickly. Bring the white steed into one of the stalls . Petting it snout before resting his head against it. Long ago Sir Bors had taught him that a horse was like a brother in arms one must never leave behind. Lancelot had lived by that since the knight had gifted the horse to him. Bors was sumerian knight their horses were important they brought them to the after life with out the animal they would wander the earth forever. I shall see you again patting the horse neck spinning about locking the stall door behind him.
The familiar sound perked his ears. The swooping noise of metal blade slicing through air. Heading to back of the stables since more took was there. It would be where the practicing ring lay. There stood a man swing his cutlass take your opposite side your not thrusting with forward when you strike. It will make the power travel with your hit . Lancelot stated moving toward the stranger forgive my rudeness bowing briskly , then heading toward man. Pulling out his two handed weapon out of the sheath. not long ago I trained many a young knights old habits died hard. How about you practice with someone smirking holding his sword up readying his stance.

| Neal felt himself turning back into the young lost boy on that pirate ship of Hook's. His lessons with Captain Hook, fighting with the cutlass, and, then actually duelling against people, namely the other pirates.
The voice of the man behind him, made Neal almost drop the sword. It was someone he didn't recognise, but, that didn't surprise him. Turning around slowly, Neal smiled softly at him before spinning the tip of his sword through his fingers. “Um, thanks for the tip. I'll try that.” Neal said, before placing his sword down by his side. “Nah, it's, it's fine.” Neal watched as the man stepped towards him. “I get it. Old habits aren't the easiest things to break” Neal then raised his eyebrows in slight surprise, “You know what I do like the sound of that. But, I feel I should know your name first.” | |

Grinning swinging the sword gently so the blade tapped Neal's blade. aye that are but if I play my cards right I won't have to change the fates and destiny will be on his side the knight felt it. Arthur reign of terror would soon be over. Guinevere would be safe and sound possibly could start a future together. Shaking his head getting focused back into the game . thus not only his sword up and over his head making it strike against the others man sword. The clinking of metal was intoxicating forgetting how much he had truely missed this. so tell me what is making you desire to spar? inquiring in between blows. The fellow looked as if was one of peace not of war so this was a bit perplexing.

Neal Cassidy | Neal's sword clinked against Lancelot's, as he blocked it. “Hopefully not a lot of us will.” If things went in his life the way they had since he got to this town, then things would actually turn out ok. His father would be ok, and, they would end up back together as a family again. Lily and he could have a future together, and, be a family with Henry. Neal decided to focus on the battle in front of him instead of the thoughts inside his head. Spinning it, and, mimicking the movements of the other man's sword, Neal heard nothing, but, the clinking of metal. The man's question made him sigh softly “Well, with all the Camelot threats and the new Dark One stuff, I just wanted to refresh my skills to make sure I can protect my family and the ones I really care about. I don't have magic, so, this is all I really have.” Neal said, slowly lowering his sword, and, glancing at the man's eyes instead. |
