Neal hadn't been in this town too long, but, he knew that it would be easier to deal with everything at the bar. It allowed him to have easy access to any alcohol which would still and most likely come in handy for the first short amount of time he's here in this town. Neal heard the whispers from the people in the town, the whispers of surprise at the realisation that the Dark One had a son, and, that he was in town. And some actually also added the surprise that his son was actually nice. That one made him smile, but, it didn't help much right now.
This was another day where he was finding himself dragging his body to the bar. Neal normally wasn't a drinker, but, with so much to wrap his head around it was harder not to be, at least until he got used to this town and being with his father again. Reaching the door of the Rabbit Hole, Neal placed his hands in his pockets before pushing the door open and entering the bar.
Glancing around, he saw that most people had already seemed to be close to drunk, but, there were one or two that were definitely already at that point. Neal raised his eyebrows and smirked as he watched one or two flirt with girls who obviously weren't interested in them, and, may have ended up being punched or hurt by one of them. That could only end well, drunken idiots trying to pick up random girls who obviously weren't interested, but, also couldn't take the hint.
Neal rolled his eyes and chuckled as he went towards the main bar and sat down on one of the stools as he ran his hands over the corner of it, before tapping his fingers gently on it. He looked up as the bartender came towards him 'What can I get'cha mate?' Neal smiled softly at the man and then glanced at the bottles behind the bartender. "Um, just give me one beer thanks" Neal said, before glancing around the bar.

Neal CassidyHis arm was still getting the feeling bad into from Daniel ripping it off and Gold "fixing" it. Sipping on his scotch allowing the Amber to burn his throat in such a way that felt good . it showed the good doctor what it meant to feel alive. Lifting his gaze up from the chestnut colored bar top. Drumming his slender finger tips till the rhythm was almost rhythmic. Spotting new guy in town the that was Rumpelstiltskin son. Snarling out a drunken laugh, the one that got the Savior knocked up. That poor kid Henry so didn't win the lottery of family. pshhh you yes you when the guy didn't look at him Whale refused to be ignore . grabbing a handful peanuts out of the bowl. psssh Don't ignore me I know you can hear me YOOOHHOOOOO Tossing the nuts at the man to get his attention.

There was a lot going on around the bar, but, he could hear someone just from the side of him. He wasn't sure whether he was talking to him, but, there was a chance he was. Deep down, Neal suspected he was, he just waited for confirmation before he said anything.
His suspicion was confirmed when the man started throwing something at him, Neal rolled his eyes before turning to face the man. “Oh you were talking to me? I thought you were talking to one of the hundreds of others in this bar.” Neal said, the sarcasm obvious in his voice. He took a seat next to the man, and, looked at him. “Hand me those peanuts will you?” Neal shrugged and then took the bowl himself, pulling it towards himself and smiling softly at the man.

Neal could tell the bar was slightly emptier then most bars he knew, of course he was comparing them to the city of New York. Those bars were places that were definitely hardly ever empty. He pushed the nuts away from him as the man throw more at him. “Well, I guess you got my attention then. If you need that ego boost go ahead, I don't need to hear it to know the truth.”
Neal smirked softly as he asked for the nuts while sitting next to him. “That may be why I was asking for them.” Neal was tempted to roll his eyes before the man throw the bowl of nuts at him. He looked down and shook his head before brushing some out of his hair.
“Well, I guess I owe you a thank you. You just gave me even more reasons to be delicious to the ladies. Not that I needed it though. I seemed to have the waitresses attention on my own before. But, thanks for this.”

Bring his scotch drink back up to his lips finishing off with a gulp. The liquid burnt but in a good way. The guy who was getting the most of his anger was now trying to what out sass him? Cute fantastic what next Charming charging in wielding a sword wanting to play doctor.
Rolling his eyes out sheer disgust. Bro let me tell if your needing nuts to get the ladies to like you I hate to tell you this but your doing it wrong. snapping his long graceful finger pointing to his tumbler. another doll face three finger worth on the rocks thanks winking at the leggy blonde behind the counter.
now back to you princess dont I know you I mean have I operated on you or I got it did I sleep with your wife? laughing lightly before groaning his jaw still aching from the "fight" or attack that Charming had unfairly giving him.

Neal took a sip of his drink finishing it off with a large gulp, just as the man in front of him had. Sass was the one thing he did well, and, always had when growing up. He could out-sass anyone if he tried hard enough. Neal had sassed his way out of being arrested, mainly by confusing them and then running before they could figure out what he'd said.
That reaction from him, Neal smiled softly “Well, I never said I needed it. I just said it didn't hurt.” It wasn't like Neal was even interested, since he was happy with Tamara, but, he couldn't not notice the looks people gave him. It was Neal's turn to roll his eyes at the way the man talked to the woman.
“I doubt you know me personally I haven't been here too long. I haven't set foot in the hospital, and, I have no wife yet. You probably know my father, Rumpelstiltskin.” Neal ran his hands along the counter, before glancing around the bar and signalling for another drink from the bartender.

Sipping on the fresh drink that had been presented Whale. The beverage was one of rich undertones and warmth although it didn't last very long. As soon as Neal said he was Rumpelstiltskin son Whale spat his drink out. wait what ?! Someone not only laid down with the scaley but they also allowed him to impregnate them. shuddering eyes wandered over the man.
you look normal I mean aren't you suppose to be all good and shimmery as well? I mean you almost pass for normal let me guess your mother was a fairy? A witch ? Come on man spill the beans laughing heartily before sipping more on the drink.
Spinning about on the stool Whale put his full focus on Neal. on second thought you may stick with using the nuts to getting the ladies I don't see it going well if just say hey there is deal in my pants dearie wanna shake on it . I personal don't see that working in your favor ..son of the dark one wow.

NEAL CASSIDYtags @whale;; etc ;; The reaction from the man was exactly what he was expecting when he revealed who he actually was. Although, he was also surprised that he didn't already know. Neal moved himself backwards as he spat out the drink, before wiping himself with a napkin. “Did you really have to phrase it that way?” Neal asked, before shuddering slightly himself.
“Well, I supposed I would. If my father had been born as the Dark One, but, he wasn't. He was born normal. I don't remember enough about my mother to be able to give you all the details. I know she was definitely not magical like that. My father became the Dark One because of me.” Neal sighed softly as he revealed this out loud, before running his finger along the rim of the glass.
Neal let out a soft chuckle “I don't think I need them. I got my fiancée without that stuff.” Neal said, before pushing the bowl towards him. “But, you can use them. And, the lines are all yours too.” Neal smirked as he looked at him. “I prefer Neal.”

Rookie mistake. You should have just hit and quite it but hey some poor slub had to be married I guess it had to be you. Although now I'm not sure if I feel bad for you or the girl. smirking pushing off Neal's insult's they really had stung like the man had hoped it would.
Arching a brow Whale placed his tumbler on the bar counter tapping his forefinger against the rim . I assure you I don't need help dark spawn . but appreciate your concern on my game . the arrogance coming Neal was almost endearing .
so if your the reason Rumple is the dark one then I guess I should thank you for this mess of being stuck in this town with no way of getting home. Thanks D.S. whats your next trick kill me to finish the job?
