Neal CassidySet during the time frame of the year forgotten Robin stood outside watching a rather spire Roland run from the Queen . it was a sweet moment the area filled with the boys laughter and glee as he tried to get away . grabbing a dead leaf from the ground twirling the steam between his finger tips this was a good moment in the vast darkness that clouded over everyone since the Curse had been broken. All were talking or laughing all except one, Neal was somber why wouldn't the man be? In one smooth motion his love and child were taken away . leaving him a wreck of man. Make matter worse he lost his father not mere minutes before . Taking a deep breath Robin made his way to Neal and the marble bench. Clearing his throat May sit with you for a while ?

Neal wasn't sure what he was supposed to do in the Forest right now, Neal saw most people happily getting on with their lives here in the Forest as if they never left. Watching Regina with Robin's son Roland made Neal just miss his own son so much more. He had already missed 11 years of his son's life, and, now he's getting a restart and he was not only missing the first 11 all over again, but, also some more time on top of it. At least until he could find a way back home to him. Everyone he really loved was in a whole other world, one that he knew he didn't have much of a chance to get back to. And the worst part was, he didn't even have his father to talk to, because he had died that day too. Sacrificed himself to save him and Belle. So, now he really had no-one. Neal leant back against the bench he was seated on, and, his gaze went towards Robin as he heard him clear his throat. "Um, sure go ahead Robin."Robin Hood |

Neal CassidySitting down watching Roland run and play with the not so evil Queen made him. It been far to long since his boy had any interaction with lady. Mulan had been with the group but she seemed more interested with swords then playing with a child. Giving a lopsided grin at the sight it made his own heart feel more at ease. Twisting his head back around to look at Neal. Mimicking his posture Robin leaned back on to the bench. What's the matter? Look about everyone is so full of joy and new beginnings explain why when gaze upon you that all I see is scowl. he knew only very little what happen before they all were transferred over . sighing leaning forward rubbing his hands together.

Neal watched as he saw Robin's son with Regina. It made him miss all of his family so much more. He had finally felt like he had a family again, but, it was once again taken from him. Neal wasn't surprised, it was like the universe had always done that to him. Neal smiled softly at Roland, he wasn't sure if the kid still felt safe around him, especially since the last time they had seen each other he had used him as shadow bait. But, the kid had seemed to be over that. And so did Robin. “The matter is, I lost my whole family again. They were supposed to be my new beginning, my happy ending. But, they are a world away. And I can't even talk to my father about it, because he sacrificed himself to save me. They're all gone.” Neal admitted the whole thing out loud, for the first time since he got here, but, it didn't make him feel much better. Robin Hood |

Robin could understand the feeling of loss. When Marian died..still the word made an ache erupt within his heart. When she disappeared Robin felt an emptiness that he never truly knew could exist until then.but there had to be a light for everyone who experiences lost . for Robin that was Roland, the little scamp kept him going even when he wanted to lay down an died.
Bringing a hand up to grip Neals squeezing it lightly. You know your father isn't really gone Rumple is always with you in your heart. For the dark one to do such a noble act should show you in the end how much your father cared for his family.
Giving it one more squeeze before letting allowing his hand to drop away from Neal. Robin knew that heart ache won't fade away with pretty words maybe it would lessen. I know you grieve for you son and Emma but from what I was told isn't it best that your son have her? He would be all alone just as you were as a boy? Surely you wouldn't want that for your Henry?

NEAL CASSIDY Neal had known this feeling of loss before. Since he'd already had to lose his papa, Emma and Henry all once before. This time it was twice as strong, since he had started letting them all in again. Especially his father. The beacon of light that had been in his life had become Henry, but, now he was gone too. And every light he'd ever had was now gone for good.
Neal felt the grip from Robin as he looked at it, before listening to his words. “I know he is, I've been through that part before. I realise he loves me, his family. But, it took me too long to realise it and now he's gone.”
Lowering his head Neal knew that Robin's words were right. But, it didn't stop the re-heartache that he had. “I know it's best for him to be with her, and, for the two of them to get the restart in their lives. Of course I don't want that for Henry. I just want him, both of them to be happy. But, that doesn't mean I can't miss them does it?”

The feeling of loss hung heavily over Neal , Robin could sense that this must be inner demon of the man's. To have family and loose them just as quickly . frowning staring at his own boy , Roland's laughter was one that made Robin's heart beat that child was his saving grace.
you can search for away to honor him you know . to continue Rumpelstiltskin good work. now that whole sentence felt odd and wrong to say. The only good that Robin knew of was Neal himself the rest of what Rumple had done was questionable at best.
Sighing that's not what he meant at all . Robin placed his forearms on his thighs leaning forward clasping his together. its not wrong to mourn Neal just know that life continues and they would want you to be happy not dwelling in maybes and what ifs . cry , scream but do heal .

 Neal had opened up so many demons, he had recently hidden down. Gotten past even. He had once again lost all of his family that he'd had. He glanced over at Roland, and, smiled before glancing back at Robin. The man should hold onto his family, and, never let them go.
“Well, it shouldn't be too hard. He was the Dark One, not a lot of good came from that.” Neal said. He remembered quite well, that his papa had told him time and time again that he was the only good thing in his life.
Neal lowered his head as he rested his elbows on his knees. Hearing Robin's words, Neal kept his head down, but, was unsure what to say. “I know that he would. As for Emma and Henry, well, with the memories both of them has. She still thinks I left her in jail, and, Henry doesn't know anything about me. I'm not sure I can heal completely this time. I'm not sure I want to.” |

T hat was such a heart wrenching thing to know. You remember them, everything their laugh, sigh and tear they have shed through the moments together. For them not remember anything of you is like a knife in the gut. Scratching his grayish brow wondering if he should even bother telling Neal this of not. Screw it he should know if he is hurting this much then why not try to help. back when I stay at your father's during the time of curse being broken. I visited the library often I did stumble upon a rare article or two that may help. glancing about if Snow heard him then the hoodlum would never hear the end of it.. it talked about the dark one and it's history there was something about a vault . most of it was in elevish so I couldn't make it all out but that maybe something worth looking into smiling hearing the delighted laughter of Roland. |

### notes this isn't over. i'll see both of you again It broke his heart to speak of the fact that the two people he loved most, had no memory of him. He remembered everything about them from the colour of their eyes, to the way he felt around them, and, they in return remembered nothing about him. Especially his son. The only good thing for him was that the two of them were together.
Neal glanced around before looking down at his hands, he just wanted the memories to disappear. All of them. Neal wanted his real fresh start, but, that wasn't going to be possible so long as those memories filled his head. “What kind of book?” Neal asked, curious as to what Robin meant exactly.
“A vault?” Neal asked, kind of curious. He knew little of the Dark One, aside from what he'd witnessed in his childhood. This admittedly made him curious as to what the vault was. “I'm sure I could find someone to help me understand it.” Neal thought of Belle, knowing that she would probably be the best person to help him with that. “Take my advice though Robin, when you find someone you love never let them get away.” ulla |
