Neal CassidyBelle had let him into the home she had called because she was mess over losing Rumple. Needing someone to talk to to allow one self to feel the emotions that had been bottled up for so long about the injustices that the Dark One had inflicted upon those closest to him. Sighing Archie unbuttoned his blazer tucking his hands into the black cotton of his trousers. Wanting to make sure that not only belle was safe and fine but Neal as well. From what he had been informed the man wasn't taking it well, but who would really? Pushing someone away is hard because it means there is no hope. The whole idea left Archie with feeling of sadden to except there is no hope for anyone would be excepting as if excepting all the emptiness left behind. Once he heard the living room door open the gingered hair man and pausing his steps so he can Smiling sadly at who ever is entering the room.

I grew up alone. I grew up without a father. You can make up for that?

Neal knew that Belle had called and invited Archie over to their house, since she was struggling to deal with having to send his father away from Storybrooke. Neal didn't mind her talking to him, but, that didn't mean Neal had to. He'd dealt with pain on his own before, and, he didn't need someone pretending to listen to him if he did let himself talk to someone. As he heard Archie enter the house, Neal stayed locked up in his room, looking up as Belle told him to go out there and talked to him. He didn't see the point in arguing, so he did just this and made his way out of the bedroom. Neal zipped up his jacket and kept his hood over his head. He would talk to him, but, he wouldn't look at his face. Neal knew that pushing people away may be hard, he'd known that for years, but, it's also what he'd always done because it always seemed easier. He was the only person who could never have a chance of letting him down. Yes, he trusted a small group of people now, but, there was still a fear in the back of his mind that they would let him down or leave him too. He could hear the voice of Mary Margaret in his head though, telling him not to let that doubt in. He waved it gently away with his hand, as he soon reached the living room. Placing one hand in the pocket of his jacket, Neal pushed the door open with the other and noticed Archie on the other side of it. Neal returned the man's smile, as he looked at him before sitting down on the couch opposite Archie. Outfit @cricket

Seeing that it was Neal , made Archie feel a bit more at ease. It meant that he wouldn't have to track the young man down. Sticking his hands into the black slacks eyes followed the man till he sat down on the couch. Following suit the therapist sat across from Neal in one of the antique chairs.
are you I'll? Should we reschedule this for another time? inquiring at the way Neal was dress. Some clients did such things as a way of protection, with the brief history that Belle had given him , Archie had no doubt that's what Neal was doing.
has anyone ever told you the seven signs of ? Shock ,Guilt, bargaining ,depression, the up turn, reconstruction and hope. I want you to know these are very normal everyone will go through it . your not alone I'm here for you .

Neal looked up at Archie, as he sat down across from him. He suddenly flashed back to when he was still in the foster system, and, it was a meeting with his social worker, who was about to try to talk to him, before sending him off to another new foster home.
“No, I'm not ill. But, how would you feel in my situation? Trust me, if it wasn't for Belle, I wouldn't even be here this time. So, we might as well go with it now.” Neal had dressed himself the way he used to, before coming to this town. When he was just the same lost little boy he felt like all over again now. He was protecting himself in a way, the way he used to before everyone let him down.
“Actually I have heard them before. Everytime I had a meeting with my social workers when I was growing up, they said something similar, which ran through my head everytime I ended up alone. You're here for me now, until you find some reason to be there for yourself instead of me. It's happened with everyone, you'll just end up leaving me or giving up on me, just like everyone else.”

Neal but all admitted to the manner of dress as being a form of protection. The man had been through so much and Archie could understand that Neal would be more of actions speak louder then words.
Moving back pressing into the cushions of the couch what he found interesting was that Neal thought himself alone. In truth the man was far from being alone now . bring a hand up coughing into the rolled up fist clearing his throat.
May we examine this notion of being alone ? Which is odd don't you think since your the farthest you have ever been from being alone. You have Belle ,Henry and countless more . though your first gut feeling was that your alone? Why don't you tell me why you think that it is? let alone the fact that he believed Archie would leave him just like the others was very concerning to him.

Neal knew that he was admitting that his way of dress was a form of protection to stop himself from being hurt again. It had always been what he'd done, protect himself in small ways, but, they were always actions before words. Doing things had always gotten him further then just saying he would do things.
He still felt alone, even if he knew that he wasn't. Neal felt as though a big part of him was gone once again, after finally having it filled. Neal stayed leaning against the couch, before looking down at his hands that were sitting on his lap, and, he began to fiddle with them. As Archie cleared his throat, Neal looked back up at him, and, waited to see what he was going to say now.
With Archie's questions, Neal wasn't sure how to answer them. But, he knew that he wasn't going to let it go until he answered them. “Do I have a choice? Yeah, I have Belle and Henry, but, Henry has more then just me, he has both of his mothers and his grandparents, soon he won't even bother coming to see me anymore. Look around Archie, my father's gone again because he chose that dagger over me again. And, my son spends more time with his mothers and grandparents lately. I am in the exact same boat as I was all those years ago when I first landed here in this world.” There was also the fact that he knew Archie would leave him, just as soon as it suited him.
