It hadn't been long since his papa had taught him how to be a knight, and, he had started joking around by teaching his baby brother some of the smaller skills. He would've kept going, if his mother hadn't told him to be careful around him, and he's too young and all that crap. Bae didn't want a lecture, so he simply placed the sword down by his side, and, exited the house.
Bae made his way out to the stables not too far away, and, went over to his papa's horse. "Hey there boy." Bae said, as he held out the carrot. Patting the horse's mane, Bae stepped back and pulled the sword out of his belt again. Bae started to move about the sword, practicing the skills his papa had taught him. Glancing back, Bae smiled at the horse, as he noticed it staring at him. Bae turned back as he stepped forward and struck at items around the stables. Suddenly, he heard something fall. "Whoops" Bae said, as he rushed over and started to pick up what he'd smashed. Leaving the items on the floor, Baelfire stood up in a hurry, and glanced back to his papa's horse once again. "I was never here" Bae said, as he quickly picked up his sword, and, made his way out of the stables before either of his parents came out here.
He didn't stop running until he knew he was far enough away that his parents wouldn't realise he broke something in there. Bae sat down beside a tree, as he caught his breath. Bae smiled at his friends, and, returned the waves they gave him. He liked his friends, it gave him some company. Yes, he had his parents, but, when they were busy with his little brother, or his papa was doing his Ogre slaying stuff in the Forest. He felt a bit lonely.
Bae suddenly heard a small scream coming from the distance, and, Bae raised his head. Jumping up off of the log, Bae made his way over to where a couple of horses were sitting. Looking around, Bae noticed there was no-one there, and so he hopped on one of the horses, hurrying the horse to where he heard the noise.
Soon, he realised where the scream was coming from. The Troll Bridge was up ahead, and, he noticed that the trolls were obviously after something. Whatever it was, when the trolls were involved it couldn't be good. Bae parked the horse in front of the bridge as he looked around, there was a small fairy being followed swung at by the trolls. "Hey, you there" Bae shouted, as he pulled out his sword and struck at the nearest one to him.
"Come on ya bastard. Take me instead" Bae tried to divert attention away from the fairy, and on him instead. Bae just hoped that, when he got the attention of this troll that the fairy would at least hide.
Bae smiled softly as the trolls finally focused on him. "Atta boy." Bae said, as he swung the sword between them before striking the biggest one. With two swift strikes, Bae noticed the troll went down, stepping backwards to avoid being squashed by him.
He noticed the looks on the rest of the troll's faces, and smirked as he noticed them hiding away underneath the bridge. "Yeah, that's what I thought" Bae said, with a small smirk as he placed the sword on the side of his belt once again. Bae then glanced around, noticing the fairy watching him with a shocked look on her face. "It's ok. The trolls are gone now. You're safe." Bae glanced at her, a smile growing on his face.
