Snow did not agree with this plan, it was far to dangerous. The loss of love one is never easy but this was risky at best. Racing as fast as the princess could the pregnancy slowed things down a bit for her. Pressing her hands into her lower back reach the library door. Knocking gently on the solid oak door. Neal Cassidy are you in here ? Belle? piles and piles books and pieces of old scrolls lay about the room. Opening the door more Snow entered waddling over reading half unrolled scrolled. How strange this was talking about the first dark one, she had never know that there had been multiple Dark ones. Pushing dusty scroll back further on to the table. Wiping her hands together to rid it self of the dirt. please come out I need to talk to you about this journey you desire to take. |

Neal knew that not alot of people approved of what he and Belle were doing, but, he was doing what had to be done. Finding a way back to the people he loved. Henry and Emma, and, to do this he knew he needed his father. Which meant finding out just what could bring the Dark One back. He had woken up early, or was it he was up late? For a few reasons, the main one being he couldn't really sleep anyway, because all he saw was them and their faces. The other one being that the sooner he found a way to bring his papa back, the sooner he could get back to Emma and Henry. As he spent more time researching, Neal had been fascinated by how many Dark One's there had been before his papa, especially the one that was before him. Since he wanted to know who his papa killed to become that sorcerer. Sitting with the book open, Neal had fallen asleep with his head on the desk. Hearing the knock on the door, Neal found his eyes opening and he just roamed through the pages of the book once again, assuming it was Belle coming in. It wasn't until he heard the voice of Snow calling out that he actually looked up from it. Neal let out a soft sigh, and, then after leaving the other book open, he made his way into the main room that Snow was calling from. "Yeah, yeah I'm here. What's up?" Jumping at the sound of his stern tone , Snow placed her hands under her swollen belly. She hoped to relieve some of the pressure it was causing on her lower back. Frowning knowing that it was stress causing Neal to sound so rough.
Deciding to break the tension up Snow would joke around with the young man. the sky and ceiling giggling softly smirking slightly but having the grin fade after seeing Neal so serious.
The soon to be mother rubbed her baby bump through the material of the golden colored dress. Sighing lowering her head to stare at the nestle unborn babe. I'm here because there has been some concerns about what you and Belle are up to. The people are afraid this is something dark you to are messing with and I don't want either of you hurt. lifting her head up to lock eyes with the man . we can find another way your father went out a hero I'm sure he will be able to come back we just have to find the right way not the easy Neal.

Neal noticed Snow jump as he spoke from behind her. Noticing the way she grabbed her belly, Neal felt slightly guilty about that reaction, he didn't want to cause harm to her unborn kid, he just wanted to get back to his own. He didn't even mean to snap at her, but, a combination of things made him have a different reaction to what he'd normally have. Lack of sleep, desperation to get back to Emma and Henry. At Snow's joke, Neal smiled slightly, but, his face stayed serious. He had work to do, and, he hoped Snow would get to her point, so he could get back to it. Keeping his hands in his pockets, Neal looked down at the ground, before glancing back over to the desk, running his hands through the pages of the book, as he waited for Snow to say something as to why she was here. At the confirmation of what she was doing here, Neal sighed softly before looking back up and speaking to her "Of course it's dark, it's the Dark One. I can't hurt anymore then I already am." Neal said, knowing that there wasn't much more pain that he could feel that he didn't already. "I know that he went out a hero, and, I'll never forget that, but, do you think if I had any other idea I would be doing this? I've never done things any easy way. I just need him back. Snow could understand his sorrow but he couldn't see how this was changing him. Softening her facial features moving toward Neal at her own pace of slow waddling. you don't know that look at how your acting already. Your tone your phrases you may not be able to hear it but your filled with bitterness. If you continue down this path I fear you could be punished for any thing reffering to the Dark one magic is twisted for its own gain..I don't want to see you hurt.
Stubborn so very stubborn your not the only one who lost them Neal she shouted out pressing a hand to forehead not meaning to but the man was making her hormones rage. Squeezing her eyes shut tight even if this means your life? Can you be that foolish and stubborn? flabbergasted by Neal , was not only willing to risk his life but take away the heroic act his father did. what of Belle's life? Are you willing to risk hers as well?

Neal was just filled with sorrow at the fact that his whole family was gone again. His papa, his son and Emma. He was working with Belle, so that both of them could get his father back, allowing Belle to have his papa, and, him finding a way to get back to Emma and Henry. “What do you mean how I'm acting? Well, what do you expect me to be besides bitter? I haven't been able to sleep since we got back here. I've thought about that, I've already been punished by Dark One magic before. I appreciate that Snow, and, I promise if it gets too dangerous I'll stop.” At those words, Neal looked up at her. “I'm well aware of that, but, you have Charming and the dwarves to help you get through it. I don't have anyone like that, at least not in the same connection you have them.” Neal lowered his head as she spoke of his life being a price. “What kind of life am I living if I'm not with my family?” Suddenly his papa flashed back into his head as he spoke similar words to him that night on the Jolly Roger. He knew his papa wanted to be a hero, but, he wanted his family back. “Look, I don't want Belle involved in this at all, but, she wouldn't listen to me when I told her to stay as far away as possible.”Snow White/Mary Margaret |

With every word oozing from Neal's mouth Snow could feel her blood pressure rise another notch . Was this man even listening to him self? Henry nor Emma would want Neal to be acting out with such a wreckless abandonment.
Trying to find the right stance to take the miserable ache she was receiving in her lower back while they stood there. do you? Do you really appreciate it? Because Im starting to wonder where the kind and cautious young went? Neal magic dark magic will only do more harm not good. If your tired come i will take you find something to help you rest maybe then your mind will see that this will end poorly for you.
Never one to hamper hope , but even Snow could see that this search this desire to find the dark one could lead to an uncertain end one which the princess didn't want for Belle or Neal.

Neal knew that he was stubborn, he had been his whole life. Just as his papa was ever since he set his mind to something. Especially when it came to wanting to put their relationship back together, no matter how much he objected. He wasn't sure whether Emma or Henry would approve, but, if he got back to them what did it matter how he'd done it? He leant sideways against the table where the book sat while he looked at Snow. “Of course I appreciate. What do you mean where he went? I haven't gone anywhere. Trust me I know all about magic being bad. There's no point in me trying to sleep, I've been trying since we got back. All I see is the three people that I can't be with anymore. So, unless you're going to stay next to me and help me actually stay asleep, I don't think it will help.”Neal was surprised that Snow was the one who was trying to convince him not to have hope. She had always been the one telling him the exact opposite. Neal didn't know how this would work out, but, he knew that his father would want to help him get back to Emma and Henry. Rubbing the temples of her forehead Neal was pushing all her buttons. He didn't see the dangerous path that lay before him? None of them wanted to find Neal cursed , souless or even worse dead. Though he may know dark magic she truly doubted that Rumple would allow his only child to witness the horrors of Dark One gifts.
Moving to turn about Snow didn't want to look at him for once Neal had anger her to where she was afraid of what she might say next. Glaring out the window the babe in her stomach kicked with fierceness. Sighing even if you get Rumple we can not get back to Emma and Henry
The truth was the only way for them to get back was for someone to release the dark Curse. No one was willing to sacrifice the thing they love most. Rumple would never kill Belle or Neal so he was out and the one thing Regina loved was back in the world with out magic. all ports of travel minus a Curse are closed to us Neal who will get you to sacrifice so you we all can back to Emma and Henry?

The truth was the more he'd gotten into this search for the Dark One's vault, the more he lost sight of everything, but, getting his family back. Neal wasn't used to having people care about him, so he didn't really believe that anyone did now. He hadn't been capable of being cared about. Neal knew more about dark magic then most of the others, but, he didn't really care all that much. Neal focused on the pages of the book as the room grew silent, there was so much he didn't know about the past of what his papa had become, but, the only Dark One he cared about right now, was his father. He glanced towards one of the windows and then noticed that he saw Henry staring back at him, reminding him of why he was doing this. Neal knew that he was probably hallucinating, but, it was also a reminder of where his hope and happy ending was. Hearing Snow talk again made Neal break the hallucination of Henry, and, looked at her instead. “You don't know that Snow.”He knew deep down that Snow was right, otherwise his papa may have found a way back to him earlier. Or at least he hoped so. Whatever this curse was that he originally had Regina cast may have actually been the only way back. But, his papa's magic could help him figure out how to cast it. Since Neal wasn't really sure, from what he'd heard, or read it involved killing the thing he loved most, but, this may make it harder. Since that's why he'd wanted to get back to the other land. “I don't know, I'll figure something out. It was a bean that got me there before, maybe my father can help me find one of those again, and, open a portal like last time. Then no-one else has to be sacrificed.
