It hadn't been long since Bae had turned 14, and he wanted to become like his papa. An ogre slaying knight of the Enchanted Forest, Bae knew that his papa told him he was waiting until he was old enough, but, he really hoped he was old enough now. Because then he would be able to save people from beasts that roam the Enchanted Forest, and be a hero in his own way. Bae made his way from his room to the main living room, and noticed his mother was sitting on the chair not too far from his brother's crib. His mother Belle was busy with his baby brother, after smiling softly at both of them, Bae kissed his baby brother on the head and then asked where his papa was. Bae waved goodbye to his mum and brother before heading to where she said where his papa was. Seeing his papa in the room, Bae smiled before picking up one of his papa's spare helmets. "Papa, can you make me a knight like you? So that I can not only wear the armour like this, but, know what I'm doing while inside it. And even when I'm not inside it." Turning about hearing his boy's voice made Rumple's heart swell. But seeing his boy have the armor on made the man's heart swell more with pride. He was waiting to give Bae his present later with the boy being so excited how could Rumple not give his son the sword he had commissioned .
I think can be arranged smiling taking the helmet off the lad. but with being a knight comes a code can you honor these vows? arching a salt and pepper brow. Rumple knew his deeds where just that deeds his legend would live on through his boys. Placing the helmet on to the table the clinking of the metal against the woods echoed about the room.
you must give justice to those who need it , you must show that you are able mind Sagacity hold to your choices, you must show Valor in the face or fear and above all you must hold to hope . Hope that what your doing is making a better place not only for you but those you have sworen to protect. as he spoke Rumple made his way to the box that lay on his desk. Flipping the lid open pulling Bae's sword out the blade gleaned in the fire light. if think you can Baelfire then I say you can't start proper training without a sword. flipping the sword about so that now the blade laid in his grip and the handle pointed out to the boy.

Bae struggled to see through the helmet, but, flipped up the front despite the fact it was his dad's size not his. A small smile grew on his face, as he saw his papa turn to face him. Bae walked around the room as he stayed there looking at his papa's knight gear, running his finger gently over the handle of his papa's sword. Turning back to face his papa, Bae could hardly contain his excitement. "Really, you will?" Bae asked, his smile growing bigger. He blew the hair off of his face as his papa pulled the helmet off of his head, fixing it with one hand. "Yes of course I can papa." Bae knew that even if his brother wasn't old enough to learn how to be a knight, he would be there to carry on his papa's legacy, and one day teach his brother these same tricks and skills. He heard the clinking of the metal helmet clashing with the wooden table. Hearing his papa speak the vows, he raised his eyebrows slightly listening as he knew that these were the vows he was speaking of. Baelfire followed slightly behind his papa as he watched him go towards some box, stopping so that he wasn't too close to him. "I can do it papa. Even if I don't understand some of those words. You got me a sword?" Bae asked, smiling excitedly as his papa handed it to him. Bae took the handle in his hands, and ran his fingers along it gently. "Wow, my own sword. A huge grin spread over his lips watching Bae hold the sword in his hands. this was day to remember for the not only the boy but for Rumple himself . Today was the first steps in Bae becoming a man, [b]yes my boy, today I will teach you how to be proper knight. [/b] [/font]nodding his head toward the door. we need to go outside mama would not be so thrilled with either of us if practice in the house. chuckling deeply picking up his sword that was sheath hanging near the door. flipping his head so his gray hair would would flutter out of his face.
opening the door after you my boyhe had no doubt that Bae could do this , his son held a great act of being able to learn fast. once you have master this then I shall be getting you your owe suit of armor. I think it would be you deserve, of course after being my squire for long enough. leaning his forearm against the wooden frame still that large grin spread along his lips. what do you know of jousting ?

Bae struggled to keep the sword in his grip, as his hands were a little too small for the handle of it. He didn't want to show this to his papa though, that he was about to drop the sword. Bae swung it a couple of times in the air, but, he had to attempt to catch it as it slipped out of his grip before lowering it and smiling at his papa. "Thank you papa." Bae said, before lowering his sword to his side and hugging his papa quickly, and then stepping back with the sword still lowered by his side. A soft chuckle escaped Bae's lips as he mentioned about mama not liking them sword-fight practicing in the house. "Yeah, I don't think so either. Remember what happened last week when I accidentally played with my ball in the house and broke something." Bae said, lowering his head slightly, a small smile escaping his lips at the same time. Bae pulled the sword back off of his hip, and gently brushed his hair out of his face, as he smiled up at his papa. "Why thank you." Bae said, heading out of the now open door. "Really? My own suit of armour too. Then I can really be a proper knight. Your squire that sounds cool." Bae wasn't absolutely positive what that meant, but, if it was something that meant he learnt from his father, then he was excited about it. Bae leant his body against the wall beside both of them, and, smiled softly. The word jousting made him raise his eyebrows, "Not much papa. aye I remember she brought skinned your hid for that. I never thought she ever stop fuming. Chuckling the poor facial expression when the lad thought he would be punished. Rumple shook his head making his way out through the front door into the daylight. Lifting up q hand to block out some of the light till he adjusted to it .
Making it just a few meters away from the door. Rumple spun about holding his sword readying him self. now I want you show me your fighting stance. leaning forward on his right hip placing the sword handle in his left hand . he would start with his less dominant side wanting to see what the boy truly had before engaging in a fight.
yes I think you can with time. First you have to earn by being my squire . watching waiting for his son to make his move.

“I know that well. I've never seen mama so angry before. I didn't think she would either. I'm just glad she did.” Bae on some level owed a thank you to his little brother, if he hadn't woken up, she wouldn't have focused her attention on him, giving him the chance to run out of the room with his ball. Bae followed his papa out of the door, so that they were outside of the cottage. Bae blinked a couple of times as his eyes adjusted to the sun. Bae stood a fair distance away from his papa as he turned around with his sword in his hand. “Fighting stance, got it.” Bae wasn't quite sure what to do, but, he adjusted his feet, so that they were seperated, but, clearly off balance. “Like, like this papa?” Bae looked up at his papa, as he kept the sword in his hand, waiting for him to tell him whether he was doing this right. “I hope I can earn it.” Bae kept the sword, and, went to swing at his papa with it, but, felt himself falling sideways instead. “Oof” Bae felt the sword drop next to him, as he landed on his butt. Nodding his head at the question if his stance was good but what he did not expect was Bae to fall and land on his butt. Smiling a soft chuckle left his lips. Helping the boy up back to his feet.
I can see we should start with stances and core work. standing next to Bae swirling the sword handle so the blade was pointing out once more. Stomach sucked in so his core was tight, this helped with balance and striking. If your unbalanced then you will fall and that mistake could cost you your life..
Bring his weaker leg to the back of him and his stronger leg forward planting them only a a shoe length apart. Any more then causing no stability . planting them firmly into the ground.
Rumple turned his head to glance over at his son now see how I have done copy it and we start from here and work our way up staying still only for a few more minutes before lower the sword and turning his attention back on Bae.

He spotted his father's nod, which told him at least he was doing it right before he fell on his butt. Bae looked up as he saw his papa let out a laugh at him falling over, but, taking his hand as he went to help him up. “Sounds good to me papa.” Bae didn't want to make a fool of himself, so he would follow his papa's instructions to tell him how to do this. His attention going to his papa as he came beside him, Bae watched carefully to make sure he got the instructions right, and, saw it right. Bae slowly moved his feet to be behind each other as he copied his father's stance. Although, he waited until his papa was finished before actually staying in it. Watching his papa turn towards him, Bae nodded “Ok, so copy your stance. I can do that” Bae said, smiling softly as he moved one foot behind the other just like his papa had it before pulling out the sword his papa had given him at the start of this lesson. “I, I think I've got it.” Bae looked up and smiled at his papa, as he waited for his papa to tell him. Moving out of the alignment so he look at the form his son had. Using his sword to tap the boy elbow so he would take it higher. good good with this stance you should be able to fight a bit smoother. Now perri forward thusting the sword out
Leaning back pursing lips waiting for Bae to begin. Remembering his days as squire oh the training he was given by the brave Knight ZoZo . a small smile twisted his lips so they were no longer pushed together. Him becoming that man's squire was the best choice of his life it brought Belle and his children.
remember as long as your calm then your winning . the moment you allow someone to make you angry you loose the battle before its even began. You must never fight with out a cool head no matter what . the ones you fight will use that against you if you do.
