Neal didn't know how long he'd been in this place Minnesota, but, it couldn't have been that long, since this was his first foster home that was outside of Arizona. It wouldn't make much difference though, no matter where he went to, he would always be reminded that he was unwanted anywhere. It had only been a week since arriving at this foster home, but, right now it was the same as any other. He knew he was supposed to be in school today, but, Neal was once again skipping it. It wasn't like it would make much difference anyway, his foster parents wouldn't notice, they never did. Reaching the store not too far along his walk, Neal placed his hood over his head before making his way inside it. Neal knew how to do this by now, he had to make himself look innocent. Who would suspect an innocent kid? Well, of course if the people knew he was a foster kid, the suspicion may raise, but, luckily none of them did. Keeping his hands in his pockets, Neal made his way down one of the aisles as he saw one of the store people coming towards him. Looking around the aisle, he kept his hands in his pockets, and made his way closer to some of the products on the shelves before sighing softly and placing one or two of them in the pockets of his hoodie. Neal stepped back, and lowered his hood down before heading back into the main part of the store. Neal made his way towards the rack of comic books. His whole life in this world, no matter how bad. Comic books had been the one escape from it. Looking around for the store workers, Neal noticed they weren't in sight, and he slipped a few into his backpack, before placing it over his shoulder again. Peeking through the gap in the comic book rack, he noticed a dark haired girl arguing with a security guard. Neal knew the look in the young girl's eyes and he quickly made his way towards the two of them, casually leaning against the counter. He overheard parts of the conversation, and sighed softly as he figured out a way to help her. Making his way towards the young girl and the store worker, Neal smiled "Hey there you are." Neal said, glancing at the man before winking at the young girl next to him. "Is there some sort of problem here?"Outfit @lily

Lily didn't need the sunglasses but she wanted them . All her life she had to be something she wasn't and each day she hated it. Behave , don't break the rules sit there and be quiet ...NO no more playing the game where she lost and everyone else won. She was tired of feeling like she had to play a part she wanted to live her life..Lily wanted to feel a connection to some one any one .
Thats why she was here fighting with this stupid guard. Crossing her arms jean jacket ruffled up at the shoulders . Squinting her eyes in annoyance about to smart off to ass once more when a some teen strolls up pretending to know her. A little dumbfounded by his action why was this guy helping her ? About to blow him off when the security guard left her in the teens hands stating that he was keeping an eye on them.
I suppose you want a thank you? the last person she had befriended her hadn't worked out so well . Emma had left without a goodbye she wouldn't even accept her apology. why did you do that? she whispered to guy he was a bit odd you know you won't look so much like a sore thumb if you take your hood off . he had to be hiding . Flashing him a mischievous lopsided grin.

Keeping his gaze between the guard and the young girl, Neal nodded his head in appreciation of the leaving the girl with him, but, watching both of them. Raising his eyebrows, Neal smiled at the young girl again, focusing his attention more to her, then the guard. Neal felt his gaze staying on the young girl and he took a closer look at her. She seemed to have darker type hair and looked a couple of years older then himself.
Hearing her words he let out a soft chuckle and shook his head “I don't need to hear it. I can tell you appreciate it.” Neal said, knowing how some people say thank you. He was one of them most of the time.
The young girl's next question made him lower his head as he thought for a minute. Why had he done that? Neal wasn't quite sure, maybe he recognised something in this girl that he had seen in himself first. Who knew these days? Smiling softly “I don't know, because you seemed like you needed someone to step in. That's all I could really say, since I didn't really have much of a reason, except for the fact that I recognised that look of mischief in your eyes from my own. And I know how it can end with guards, and that look when combined.” Neal said, a small smile growing on his face.
The young girl's comment about the hood made Neal shrug “Maybe you're right. But, that's just the way I've always gone while around stores like this.” Neal said, before using one hand to lower his hood, while the other one stayed in his jacket pocket. Neal returned her lopsided grin with one of his own, before looking quickly around the store, and then back to the young girl “So, what do you say we pay for these things and get out of here?” Neal asked, his gaze going back to the guard, but, noticed they had been distracted. “Actually, on second thought. Let's go this way. While the guard's distracted.” Neal then grabbed a light grip on the young girl's arm, and began to head out of the exit of the store.

Running after the boy that just saved her. Grinning looking over her shoulder pony tail waving behind her the alarm rung out once they cleared. Upon reaching outside lily took his hand showed him a way out through the alley way. They had to make sure they made it away before the cops came. Laughing while jogging the sun was somewhat blinding good thing she put her shades on .
Heading toward the park entrance dragging her hero along with her. Squeezing his grip smiling brightly she hadn't felt this good since being with Emma. Could it be so that she found another kindred spirit .
Entering the park hiding in under bridge letting go of his hand by the way name is Lily Page and yours would be handsome? panting keeping a look out while she gathered her breath.

Neal didn't even look back as the alarm went off at the store, he had done this long enough to know never to stop until you were out of sight. Feeling the grip on his hand, as the young girl grabbed a hold of it and led him down an alleyway. They had to be out of the way before the cops came. He already had a record for another store recently, and so he couldn't add to it. Plus, if they called his social worker then he'd be moved to a new home again.
He continued to be dragged along by his hand as they ended up in the park. Neal felt the squeeze on his hand, a smile growing on his face. He hadn't felt this happy since he was with Wendy. The last real family he'd ever had. Could it be he'd found someone else to feel that connection with?
When they finally stopped running underneath a bridge, Neal took the chance to catch his breath. Neal had gotten the hang of doing that though, running is what he'd been doing his whole life since he landed in this world the first time, even more so from Neverland onwards. At her introduction, Neal smiled blushing softly as she called him handsome. "Neal Cassidy. Nice to meet you Lily." Neal said, in between pants of breath and gazes from around both of them.

Smiling warmly , nice to meet you Neal, I think we are good now you wanna go my hide out? it was anything special but Lily loved her spot some of more restful times were away from others just hanging out there. Waiting for his answer kicking her converse against the pavement . Biting her bottom lip wondering if would or not? Lily start to let her mind wander bet he has a family to get home . Neal was just being nice , best to push him away before he does that to you. on second thought never mind have nice life Neal. jamming her hands in her jean vest pushing her sunglasses back on as she exited the tunnel. Your always going to be alone , your not good enough to have someone to stick with you. Hanging her head slowly making her down the walk way. outfit

Neal returned the young girl's warm smile, as he looked at her. "Yeah, I think so too." Neal said, before pausing and looking at her with raised eyebrows at the question. He could go, but, what would his foster parents or social workers do if they found out? Honestly he didn't really care. It wasn't like it would make much difference.
Before he had a chance to answer, he noticed her walking away. Neal kept his hands in his pockets, and decided that he wasn't about to let his only chance at his first real friend slip away. "Wait, where are you going?" Neal asked, as he raced after her, touching her lightly on her shoulder as a way to stop her. "I thought you wanted to show me your hide-out" Neal said, not wanting to lose his chance at a real friend not caring whether it got him in trouble with his foster parents or social worker.

He chased after her , lily couldn't help but smile once more. No came after her before not even Emma. I was heading back to my hide out your still welcome to come maybe today wasn't such a loos after all. Sucking in on her plump bottom lip staring down at the ground. Lily tuck some loose brown hair behind her ears. you won't get in trouble if your out late will you? I bet your family would be worried if you. speaking out wistfully. Starting to walk again turning about to face the guy. it's not the far from here and the atmosphere is amazing it feels like another place entirely . it reminded lily of something out of fairytale but a dark one with a bit of edge on it that was part of the reason why she adore the spot the other was well because it was away from everyone .

Neal wasn't used to chasing after people, but, there was something about this girl that got him to do it anyway. A smile grew on his face as she said he was still welcome to come. No one had ever said he was welcome to be anywhere. "I'd love to." Neal said, looking at her. Today wasn't such a loss in his opinion after all. Neal ran his hand through his hair, and then placed his hands gently in his jacket pockets. At her question, he sighed softly and kicked the ground in front of him "Ha, yeah right. As long as I come back, they don't really care. And even then, they still won't care all that much" Neal said, lowering his head and feeling his lower lip start to quiver, blinking back the tears coming to his eyes. "Well, another place is what I need right now. Even temporarily." Neal knew all too well what fairytale lands were like, but, as long as it was away from his foster family for the short time. Neal wanted to be able to be far away from this life as long as possible before being forced into reality.

Lily felt bad for the kid. He was just as alone as she was . slowing her pace to match his stride, taking her arm to loop with neals . don't worry you can stay with me what's mine is yours smiling over at the new friend. This day was starting to turning out a lot better then she had hoped. what if you stayed with me never went back? I can keep you safe a seeing his bottom lip quiver Lily began to wonder what was the matter? do they hurt you ? You can tell me jerking him to halt. She wanted to hear him either they hurt him or not because if they were god help them. The teen would make them pay.
