Neal Cassidyset few days after their first meeting Tamara held the scarf in her hands. Never had one garment been so instrumental in the game like this one had been. Gazing about the central park. The phone call had been a simple and easy one. No tracking down the mark this time just a smile and spilling of coffee. It was a shame Neal seemed like a really nice guy but in the end they all seem like nice people. He had even given his number so he could finish making amends . Which again came in handy wondering if Karma was rewarding her at some point bringing this guy wrapped with bow dropping him in her clutches. Earlier today Tamara had called Neal setting this meeting up . Greg was there coaching her through it although he wasn't needed much. There were times when Neal seemed to shut down and of course she wouldn't allow him to say no . Lifting up a arm pulling her coat sleeve back to check the time...thirty minutes late was he really standing her up?

That phone call from Tamara wasn't something he was expecting. He remembered he'd given her his scarf to cover up the coffee stains on her shirt, since it was his fault, but, he was caught off guard when she actually called him wanting to return it. Neal could tell that over the phone, Tamara wasn't going to take no for an answer. She seemed as stubborn as he was, which he admired for the most part. He had been weary of agreeing to meet her to return the scarf, since it may end the same way that it had ended with everyone else he'd ever felt close with, if it led to something. With him ending up losing her. But, Tamara seemed nice and pretty, and it wasn't like she was leaving him with much of a choice. After getting himself dressed, Neal stopped in front of the mirror and let a few deep breaths in and out. "It's alright Neal. You're not sure it's going to happen the same way this time. You don't even know if you want this to lead to something" Neal said, before sighing deeply and heading out of the door of his apartment, and heading to where he had agreed to meet Tamara. He knew that he was late, but, Neal just hoped that Tamara would still be there. Neal soon spotted the place up ahead, and thankfully he saw Tamara was still there as well. Keeping his hands in the pockets of his jacket, he sighed softly as he made his way closer towards her. "Hey. I'm sorry I'm late."Outfit @tamara

"Hey. I'm sorry I'm late." his image appeared in the corner of her eye. Beaming warmly it looked like the guy actually got the guts to show up. Waving at him making her way toward Neal. The whole way the man was holding him self screamed runner.
hey don't worry about it really, just glad you showed up smiling a little wider , once close enough she held out the scarf here you , I even washed it for you . No girlie fabric softer I didn't want to over step. she was going to have to think of a way to make this guy relax or this was all for vain and she might not get another chance.
so okay this might be forward but um looking down , scuffing her boots against the pavement. Wanting to come off a little shy. would you mine having lunch or cup of coffee with me? I just moved to town and well your the first person who hasn't well perking her brows up letting out a sigh lets say I your kindness renewed my faith in humanity and I want to repay that

Neal noticed the beam on Tamara's face as she looked at him, and he returned it with a casual smile of his own. He wondered if Tamara could sense what he was really feeling. Neal's stance stayed slumped with his hands in his jacket pockets, preparing himself to be able to run if need be.
“Yeah, I guess I am too” Neal said, smiling softly at her. Watching Tamara hold out his scarf, Neal took it from her gently. “Thanks. Well, I do appreciate that. I'm not one for girly scents.” Neal placed the scarf around his neck, as a way to keep it secure until he got home. Ok, so he had the scarf back, now would he be able to run, and not risk losing someone who he let close to him? Glancing down at the scarf, he stared limply and just ran it through his hands.
At Tamara's words, he looked up again. Was she asking him out on a date? Neal smiled softly, before looking down at the scarf again and kicking the air in front of him and then looked back up at Tamara. “You know what? Lunch sounds great.” Neal said, deciding to take the chance with this girl. At her comment about the kindness, he couldn't help, but, chuckle. “Yeah, I do pride myself on my kindness. Well, I'm honoured that I restored your faith in people. Well, then we could go get some lunch then.”

“You know what? Lunch sounds great.” boom she was in , nodding her head great I know this great diner around the corner that makes a great breakfast. Its cute they call it eggs in basket Greg was a foodie so those kind of stuff he would take her to. walking closer to Neal its this way smiling once more pointing off toward the west. all I have to do before we is one tiny drop by a store. I'm getting this amazing desk I got an estate sell. It's right by the diner I swear Wizard of oak was adjacent so it wasn't out of the way. yes well it hard to find nice people now a days. It just seems everyone is out for themselves anymore flashes of the witch doctor whizzed through her mind. hands balled into fist jamming them into her coat pockets how she hated that man for he was the monster all his kind would need to be stopped. so Neal other then being a charming klutz tell me little about your self ? she asked making her way down the walk way .

Neal smiled softly at her reaction, before nodding softly. “That does sound cute.” Neal said, chuckling softly. Neal hadn't been to a diner situation in a long time, especially not in the sense for more then just a take out and go type of situation. He definitely hadn't had anyone to sit there with. Placing his hands in his jacket pockets, he began to follow Tamara, as she led the way to the diner. Neal gestured his hand and waved off her next words, “It's fine. I'm not really in a hurry.” Neal smiled softly at her, while his walls were still up, he was finding something intriging about Tamara, and it was starting to make him feel more comfortable around her. Neal nodded “I know those feels well. Everyone being selfish in their own desires” Images of both his papa and Hook came flashing through his head, Neal closed his eyes slightly as he blinked them away, feeling his grip on the scarf tightening slightly, and placing them out of sight before Tamara noticed. He hated both of those men so much, his father and Hook. Both were so much alike each other, even if they wouldn't realise or admit it. At Tamara's question, he smiled softly and lowered his head “Well, charming klutz is my official title. But, there's not a lot to tell. Teenager who was abandoned by his parents, and spent his life in the foster system or alone. Aged out, got kicked out. Grew up alone. Moved to New York. And grew into the smart mouth charming klutz who stands before you now.” Neal said, looking down at the ground. “What about you? Aside from being in the wrong place at the right time, tell me about yourself” Neal said, as he began to follow Tamara down the walkway.

sounds like you have a lot of experience with betrayal . So let me guess love one? smiling the more she could get on the guy the more she could use against him. if she could find a kink in those walls then Tamara could worm her way. so many ways to bring some one down when you needed to . Arching a brow she didn't expect him to tell so much but there it was now for the world to know . Orphan then ? alright she could use that against him then . same here kind of my parents died in a back in 1983 freak storm really and then my grandmother took care of me till she died of cancer then I moved up here and ran into smart pants charming klutz. So not to entirely bad. My grandmother would have hated this place to much noise not enough heat. laughing bitterly she missed the warmth her self at the cold new York months only made her sick for the rainy winters of the Louisiana Bayou. Neal sighed softly at her question. "Yeah, something like that." Neal said, knowing that it wasn't just his father that he felt betrayed by and his feelings towards Hook were complicated. He had started to love him, until the whole betrayal thing happened. The truth about his life in this world after Neverland made him look down sadly. It just reminded him of the truth, the fact that his own parents abandoned him, turning him into an orphan. Looking up as Tamara started telling him what happened to her parents, and later her grandmother. So she was in the same boat he was, plus or minus the way her parents had left her. "Well, then I guess fate wanted us to both happen to be in New York, so that we could meet. Yeah, the whole noise thing is new to me as well. I'm not sure how to feel about it, Since I've just gotten used to quietness." Neal lowered his head as he kept his hands in his jacket pockets, every place had been relatively quiet compared to here in New York, especially Neverland. This place was, however, alot warmer then most of those places, which he didn't mind.

outfit so it was a love one let me guess. Some drop dead beautiful woman broke your heart? You decided to move up here to get away from visions of the girl that got away ? teasing him , she was trying to probe to find out anything. If a girl then she could play off those feelings. If something else could be more complicated . His mention of fate Tamara found interesting , so you believe in fate? There is no such thing as accident; it is fate misnamed. Napoleon Bonaparte he also believe fate. I don't what I believe I guess hard work and family would the things I believe that. Silly I know but where I come from man is only worth something by the sweat on his brow, and those who love him at the end of day. Who loves you at the of day Neal? Mirroring his stance placing her hands into her coat pockets. Laughing with out thinking worst noise you have experience thus far while living here playful twinkle in her chocolate eyes.

"I wish, I did come up here to forget about a girl, but, that wasn't the person who betrayed me." Neal said, sighing softly as his hands stayed in his pockets. "It's more complicated then that. A lot more."
Neal wasn't sure he believed in fate, but, it was the best way to explain some things. According to his father fate existed, but, his father wasn't here was he? "Yeah, I guess I do a little. It's not that silly, everyone has their opinions. As for that last part if that's what makes you worth something, then I guess I'm worth as much as I once thought. No-one loves me at the end of the day. I've had no-one to do so for as long as I can remember." Neal said, sighing softly feeling his hands turning into fists again in his pockets.
A soft chuckle escaped his lips at Tamara's next question "No question. A police chase that took place just outside my apartment a few weeks ago. So many police cars were piled up for hours and their sirens were going off the whole time." Neal said, smiling softly. "What about you? What's your worst noise experience here?"
