'He said that way, I know if you really trusted me. If you really cared.'
'No please Bae'
'You didn't need to. I would've chosen to come home, I would've chosen you. If only you asked, maybe we could've found a way to be a family again'
...Bae couldn't believe that his papa didn't trust him to come back, to actually want to come home with him. He had been offered a deal where all he had to do was ask, instead of using magic to decide for him. He wanted to be trusted by his father, and finally have an actual choice or say in what he did with his own life. But, his father, instead of giving him the benefit of the doubt, he had poofed them home before he could say anything at all. He didn't exactly know where he wanted to go when he walked out on his father, but, he had so much anger built up and he just had to get away from there, from him for a while. Bae wished that he and his papa had never gone in search of that stupid dagger that gave him this magic and power in the first place. Bae stopped in the middle of the woods and sat himself down on a log, as he sat and thought about how much things had changed between him and his papa since he became the Dark One. Holding a stick in his hand, he snapped it in half as he let out some of the anger inside him while he thought about it. …
'These are our keys to the castle son. And once we're inside there's something I have to take'
'What do you have to take?'
'That old beggar he told me a fine tale. About the duke and his magical dagger.'
'What does it do?'
'If I own that dagger. I control the Dark One. If I kill the Dark One with his dagger, I take his powers.'
…
'Papa, what has happened to you?'
'You're safe Bae. Do you feel safe son?'
'No I'm frightened.'
'I'm not, I protected what belongs to me and I'm not scared of anything'
…
'That's not what you're afraid of. I think you're afraid that if I leave I may never come back.'...Coming out of his thoughts, Bae looked around and then realised that he should get home before someone came out here. Or even worse, his papa would come looking for him and hurt innocent people in the Forest. Bae stood up off of the log and made his way back home, waiting to see if his papa was still waiting up for him and what he would say to him if he was. Bae soon arrived back at their cottage and pushed the door open before making his way inside. Mr.Gold/Rumpelstiltskin

 Rumple pace the floor of the cottage . the creaking of the floor boards were the only noise in the hut. he should have trusted Bae but milha and his papa had caused so much distrust. who would love a coward? running his hands over his scaled face sick with worry. if the dark one went after the his son. that would only cause more issues. the fire from the fire place roared light the modest hut. what seemed like hours upon hours the sun began to set. just as he was about to look for Bae the door opened. never has Rumple been so happy to see his the angry eyes of his before. not saying a word the dark wizard rushed Bae brought him into a hug. just squeezing the day lights out of his child. please if you hate me then do so but never leave here angry again. if I lost you Bae I ...I don't know what I would do. your the last of goodness. all of it was that was the true. The lost of Milha was tiny insufficient but if he lost Bae ..he would become the monster that Myst Haven had feared. Neal Cassidy |

Slowly Bae kicked off his shoes and then let out a few short breaths and shook his head to let out some of the anger inside him. Not long after he'd pushed open the door he felt himself being pulled into a tight hug by his father as a way of greeting. Bae may have still been angry, but, he did still enjoy the hug from his father, despite it knocking the breath out of him. Hearing his father's words, he pulled out of the hug as he looked at him and sighed “I'm not sure I hate you papa. I was just angry and had to get out of the house. I don't know what I'd do if I lost you either papa”Bae never really wanted to lose his father, he was all he had and all he'd ever had. That's the main reason he would've chosen to come home and him. If he didn't have his father, he was more sure of anything that he would be lost and unsure where to belong or go anymore. Holding his breath a wave of relief hit the man. Bae had come home perhaps he should have trusted his son. Glancing down making his way toward the table to sit down with his boy. I'm sorry Bae I am I should have known that out of everyone you would never leave me . How can I make this up to you my boy?Eyes were large with pleading as he gaze at the teen across the modest table. Fumbling with the hem of one the sleeves on his robe. A feeling of being ashamed for his actions began to twist his insides. Wanting nothing more then to make this up . I've just lost so much if I lost you i...I don't think I would survive .Rumple never told Bae what his mother had done choosing to leave them both for the pirate. Balling his hand into tight fists the fire in the hearth blazed from the anger. It was best to give his son a happy memory of his harlot of mother . Bae had proven to his papa that he could be trusted, since he had actually come home. “Yeah, you should've. I have no plans to leave you.” Bae said, before he let out a soft sigh as he thought of how to answer his papa's next question “You could actually trust me more papa.” Bae said, as he ran his hands along the table. Bae looked down at the table and adjusted his shawl over his shoulders, before lowering his hands and looking back up at his papa across the table. Smiling softly at his papa he reached out and grabbed his hands, “You're never going to lose me papa, we're a family which means that we always stick together. Even more then that, we're a team.”Ever since his mother had been killed by those pirates, he was worried what would happen to his papa. If he lost him, he would truly have no idea what to do. As he stared into the fire, he saw horrible images of something happening to his father while out as the Dark One. Rumple could see the distance glance in Bae's eyes. A part of him wondered what the lad was thinking about . Could only assume that it is something along the lines of it being about Milha. I do trust you Bae its the world I don't trust. in honesty it was both he could trust the boy more and let go . hoping he would make the right choice.I have no plans to leave you those were sweet words to ears. patting Bae's hands before getting up wanting a pot of tea to settle more of his nerves. waving a hand to fill the pot before hanging it on the hook over the fire.
but family doenst always stay together. the dark one knew that better then anyone. Mother had vanished, father was well ... forever a teen and it seem to be after his son. bending rubbing his hands by the fire. till the very end my boy you and your papa a team till the end. his voice seemed to grow low with each word.

Bae wasn't sure whether his papa could tell what he was thinking, but, he wanted to make sure he never knew the fear he had of his father never coming back. Turning back as he heard those words from his father, he lowered his head and then looked back up at him after letting out a sigh. “I know you're worried about something happening, but, I can handle it. I promise.” Bae said, reaching out to take a grip of his father's hands. He couldn't help, but, smile at his father. He was all he had and had no plans to leave him or lose that. He smiled again as his father patted his hands, and watched as he stood up to make some tea. While their family had been torn apart by pirates killing his mother, he and his father would never be torn apart. Not if he could help it, fears aside, he would not let that happen to them. Bae looked towards his father and enjoyed the warmth of the fire, as his father spoke again. “Forever and ever papa. Nothing will tear us apart.” Bae said, keeping the confidence in this happening. the words should give comfort but they didn't they only caused him have panic amongst the sweet moment with Bae. standing up the blood red robe he wore clinging to his wrists and waist. Bae you cant promise me that but its nice to hope for. I love you son .
pain in his heart had caused a head ache to form behind his eyes. what problems have you ran into Bae if you need help you know you can turn to me right ? who would dare come after his son? who would be this foolish to want to declare war upon the dark one and bring forth a fury of pain on themselves ?

Bae knew that his papa may not believe these words, but, he did and so he knew he could say them. He knew how to defend himself, well enough without his father having to step in and do his Dark One thing. “I can promise you one thing papa, and that is, that I will always come home. I love you too papa. Nothing will ever change that.” Trying his hardest to avoid the visions in the flames, he focused on his real papa right there in front of him. “I haven't run into anything too bad. I know papa, I always know that.” Bae said, taking a light grip of his papa's hands. Bae knew that, if anything serious happened, then his papa would teach whoever it was a lesson. He wanted to believe that Bae would love him and always return home. But he had heard those words from Milah from that very spot. Moving away from the table and away from his son moving toward the window wanting to stare out window. He could make it where Bae would forget this take his memories away make the boy never want to leave to stay with him for ever. Steepling his fingers together bring it under his chin. Watching the shadows of the trees shift as moon moved slowly out side. No no that would only make matters worse. If Bae found out about that then his son would never forgive him. Sighing lowering his head in shame at the horrible thoughts had rolled in out rather quickly. Turning his head to glance back Bae he was all that was left of his goodness. Eyes darted over the features of the boy. He had his mothers hair but Bae eyes resembled the dark brown eyes Rumple possess . Good , good that just means people aren't as stupid as I had thought. smiling briskly name a wish a heart desire and it shall be yours. Do you want to be king I can give that to you..a village of your name it Bae nothing is to big for my boy.
