"I'm going on an adventure." Once again Roland had been stuck with a babysitter making the little boy anxious as he waited for his dad to come back. He hated being stuck with a sitter even if they were lots of fun. Except today when his father had already been gone far too long for the little boy's liking. At the moment, his babysitter was busy making them some lunch which allowed him the perfect opportunity to try and sneak away. Normally he wouldn't go against his father's orders like this, but he was missing his daddy too much. Surely, if Roland explained how much he missed him, he would come back earlier. Leave it to his Dad to leave before he woke up without even saying good morning to him. Not a very nice thing to wake up to as he quietly grabbed his cloak and snuck away. Making his way through the forests, Roland tried to make the best of the situation. He didn't like being on his own either, but the need to be with his father overrode any fears about being alone in the woods. Besides, he enjoyed the woods and had played many games like tag and hide and seek with some of the Merry Man. His stomach growled, but he paid it no attention as he made his way onward thinking to himself that he was on a quest like some of the heroes in his father's stories. It made him feel braver too as he picked up a stick and started pretending that it was a sword as he walked onward excited to be free from his babysitter. Unfortunately being a little kid made his sense of direction rather poor and he found himself getting a little lost in the trees. Not to mention he was way past the boundaries of the camp and somehow found himself heading towards the edge of town and the docks. He was just started to wonder if he was ever going to get out of these woods after walking for so long when he finally noticed the trees thinning out. Beaming proudly he picked up his pace a little bit more and eventually found himself on the outskirts of town. Looking around, he tried to figure out which way to go as he looked up at the signs pointing in different directions. He tried to read the signs, but they were just a little complicated for him so he veered right when he should have gone left. Surprisingly he was actually have fun with his fake little sword even if he was surprised by the fact no one was around. A little farther down the road and he found himself down by the docks making him smile a little more as he walked on down to him. Maybe his father was down here too, but the place was deathly quiet with the exception of some birds overhead and the crashing of waves. Normally, Roland would have jumped at the chance to go swimming, but his Dad had said he wasn't allowed anywhere near the ocean unless he was there. Which was fine as he made his way along the dock until he caught sight of a great big ship. Curiously, he glanced around but saw nobody around. Beaming excitedly, he carefully stepped onto the ship being cautious as always and yet really excited. He didn't know why he found ships so interesting, but he did despite only seeing them in the picture books or dreams that he had. This was a really big ship compared to the little boy as he called out to make sure he wasn't bothering anyone if they were in fact on the ship. When that proved to show nobody was around he shrugged and went off exploring marvelling at the pretty vessel. This was better than any ship in his books or even the drawings he had done. This was just so exciting to the little boy as he went off exploring. He went snooping down below deck and just generally enjoying his little exploration finding a dusty old pirate hat that made him a little more excited. With no one there to watch him, who was going to stop him from playing pirate? Putting on the pirate hat, he raced back upstairs tripping once in his excitement as he headed over to the steering wheel of the ship. Of course, Roland was really careful not to damage anything and show it the utmost respect like his dad had taught him. His attention now on playing pirate, Roland pretended to be the captain of the ship. He started talking to his 'crew' and brandishing his sword as he explained how his ship was to be run. He loved this game of 'pretend' even if it was just to himself because it was a lot easier talking to his imaginary friends than real people. He always found it hard talking to other people especially when he was stuck without his Dad. Not to mention there weren't many kids his own age, but that was alright as he pretended to fight with another pirate captain. "Arr no one takes my ship. Hey! That's my cookie," shouted Roland to no one when one of the 'pirates' made for his jar of cookies that he was claiming to be his treasure. He was just so wrapped up in his own little imaginary world that he wasn't aware anyone was actually watching him play pirates. MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOXOGRPHY 2.0

It had been a hard night of protecting the town so much so that Killian Jones didn't even make to the bed. But rather to his desk chair. When the crash of someone falling on deck above him made the pirate jump up saber firmly in hand.
Dark brows furrowed as he heard footsteps creaking the wood above him. Making his way through sunlit room. The colors from the stain glass window played against the walls. Gently pushing the door open bright light of the sun made killian lift his hook up block out the light till he was able to adjust from the darkness to light.
Creeping around making his way up the stairs slowly . The lapping waves against haul of the ship rung within his ears. When he reached the top to see a young Roland playing the Captain was relieved to see it wasn't the sea witch. Then his mind wondered what the boy was doing alone. Clearing his throat sliding his saber in to the loop of his belt .aye so captain what shall we do to protect your treasure ?
Figuring he would play along for now till it got and they we need to search for Robin.

"I'm going on an adventure." Roland continued to play his little game of 'pretend', having a great time of it really as he fought off pirates in an attempt to protect what he claimed to be his treasure. Of course, he was being rather careful making sure that he didn't break things or anything of the sort as he continued to fight off the other group of pirates. Sure, he meant to be finding his father after slipping away from his babysitter, but he couldn't resist seeing the ship. He'd just play around for a little longer and then he'd go and see if he could locate his Dad. Though this was much more exciting considering his love of stories including those about pirate ships as he brandished his little stick in a sword-like fashion. True, he wasn't going to be an excellent swordsman anytime soon, but Roland hardly cared about that. Who cared about being good at something when you were just playing pretend anyways or at least so he thought. He kept fighting off the pirate scum calling out silly orders to his crew and the likes. After all, he liked talking to his pretend friends because they always listened to him and could spend time with him. He wasn't even really aware that he was being watched by the actual captain of this vessel. If he had, he might have been a little bit more cautious in his movements or at least would have asked permission before doing any of this. "We need to hide it somewhere they can't find it," replied Rolan absent-minded of the fact that Killian had spoken to him as he beat yet another of the mean bad guys. He kept on fighting with his little stick, blocking and jabbing at the invisible bad guy that apparently was trying to steal his precious treasure. Which in this case, happened to be his cookies and some other important things not that it really mattered. After all anything was possible if you used your imagination. At least until his mind registered the fact that someone had spoken to him and he turned to see it was the actual captain of this ship. He stiffened slightly for a moment wondering if he was going to be in trouble for this, but thankfully the man didn't seem mad at all. If anything he was offering to play into Roland's fantasy which was strange, but in a nice way reminding him of his father. His father was always good about playing with him in that manner and even Regina at times was fun like that. "Hmm maybe we should hide it below deck," thought Roland thoughtfully as he attacked another pirate though his confidence wavered slightly in the presence of an adult. He loved grown ups, but he tended to be rather shy around others that he didn't know nearly as well. Sure, they had seen each other once or twice, but Roland had yet to really interact with him. The older man seemed sad half the time now or just plain worried which made Roland feel bad. He wished he could do more for those that he loved and cared about, but there didn't appear to be much to keep their mind off things. Something he was rather good at doing as well as attempting to make people feel better by giving them hugs or such things. He shook his head trying to concentrate on his imaginary world though it was a bit harder now that he had an audience of sorts. Still he didn't seem mad that he was using his ship to play on, as he ducked low to avoid getting hit by a sudden attack. "Quick, we got to hide before they get more of them and bring dinosaurs," replied Roland clearly acting scared as if they were really in danger of an assault by pirates and dinosaurs. Not exactly a realistic combination, but one could hardly care when your opponents weren't real to begin with. Then again, perhaps it was just what they both needed to just escape reality even for an hour. Didn't everyone deserve that little moment of childish nature? MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOXOGRPHY 2.0

watching the boy jab and block at air was cute . It often made him wonder what having a child of his would be like. taking a deep breath that was a pipe dream though one that Killian had given up on many many decades ago. walking to grab the invisible jar of cookies. the pirate nodded his head to the captain quarters. follow me sir shouting out holding the jar under his running through pretend bad guys. rushing down the stairs glancing back to see if the lad would follow . aye captain watch out the are firing canon balls at us now rocking on his legs in the motion of unsteady seas.
holding the jar of cookies above his head waiting for captain orders. only to lower bloody thing as soon as Roland mention dinosaurs. arching a dark brow looking a bit perplexed this was not his fantasy Hook reminded him self as stood there sway from foot to foot. then we must hurry my captain

"I'm going on an adventure." Roland continued to fight off the impending the invasion of pirates while watching the man as he moved towards where his supposed jar of cookies were. He honestly hadn't expected the man to actually latch onto the fantasy that he was currently playing out. Not that he really minded because it just made the whole 'adventure' that more exciting wondering what he was going to do with his jar. He almost thought that he might try to take it on him, but that didn't seem to be his motive, by the way he held the jar of cookies so carefully in his hands. He loved when his Daddy would play pretend with him even if it he tended to be rather busy doing grown up stuff. He didn't really understand why everyone was so stressed out lately and it was getting frustrated for the little boy when his dad sat him with a babysitter. Like he had today which was enough for Roland who had gone off in search of his father and was now playing pirates with Killian. So perhaps it wasn't a completely bad set of events as he ducked to avoid another blow to his head and shaking his fists at the group. Really he was just making things up as he went along while trying to figure out what it was Killian was doing. He stopped in his fighting though when Killian told him to follow which he did eagerly wondering where they were going with his jar of cookies. He leaped over a supposed dead body as he raced after the captain as he too seemed to run from the invaders. Course, he was just as eager to explore more of the pirate ship too, keeping a firm grip on the 'sword' in his hand. He would occasionally pause to fight off another yet was still hot on the pirate's trail. He was quite the fast little guy even for his short legs, but they served him well when needed. Yep, definitely more fun than whatever his latest babysitter had planned which didn't appear to be much except the park and being stuck at the camp. She didn't even do any of the fun games like hide and seek or tag much to Roland's dismay. Though, it appeared he had lucked out in the end by coming across the pirate ship as he engaged in an imaginary fight with rogue pirates. Plus he got to be with one of the adults he was rather fond of, even if they didn't exactly speak all that often. Which hardly mattered to Roland because he merely thought Killian was impressive with his sword and ship or so he'd heard from Henry. He loved stories about ship, so to actually meet someone who had one was just a big bonus in the little boy's mind as he carefully made his way down the stairs. Well he was trying since he was a bit too excited by all the fun he was currently engaged in and didn't really care about safety. He still tried to contain his excitement to a certain degree though keeping up with the man proved to be a challenge. "Oh no, my ship!" cried Roland when Killian pointed out they were bringing out the cannon balls watching as the man actually dove into Roland's world. He tried to keep close, nearly losing his balance on one of the stairs at one point in his haste. Still, he quickly regained his balance and kept on following, even as a pretend canon crashed through. They were going to have to keep moving as Roland figured, yelling at some of his men to aid in the attack. They seemed to listen because Roland smiled and continued onward down into the depths of the ship. He was beginning to wonder just how far this place was as they continued onward, but he was just happy for the company occasionally getting distracted. After all, it wasn't very often that he found himself on any ship let alone a big pirate ship such as this. Sure, he'd done some exploring in his quest to see if anyone was around, but he hadn't gone too far in case he got into trouble. It was one of few things he didn't like, but then again he suspected most people didn't like getting into trouble. He stopped though when Killian did, allowing for the little boy to catch his breath and glanced around. He seemed confused by something making him turn to look around himself wondering what was wrong. He was about to say something to the man, but he seemed to carry on what they were doing as he picked up the jar again. He giggled a moment though when Killian sway on his feet trying to copy him a moment before growing serious. After all, there was more important matters to be dealt with as he listened to the man insist they needed to hurry. He agreed and kept on following after the man, his stick still in his hands as he glanced back towards the direction they had come from. "Where are we going Uncle Kili?" asked Roland, absent-mindedly as he glanced around and not really aware that he had gone and called Killian Uncle like he sometimes did inwardly as it made it easier for him to say. After all, he was young so big words were a bit too complicated especially when he didn't often talk to begin with. Still, he was getting better at communicating about his problems or just in general, but it was still a work in progress. MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOXOGRPHY 2.0

Turning his head lowering his arms and the invisable jar once more. The words uncle Killy made the "harden"pirate smile a genuine grin. Killian had a large soft spot for children and this lad by the gods was making it a large soft spot at the moment.
aye what we are doing is taking our finale stance. come Captain Hood we must make it to the Cabin or all is lost running unsteadily to the captains cabin . Opening the cabins door helping them both end.entering quickly locking the door the bolt clicked.
Spinning about the room Captain Hood the door is locked . Now we must find a place to hide the treasure. bumbling about the room trying to make the lad laugh. here hiding it the middle of his desk there captain is that good enough? it wasnt but he wanted the boy to be more playful.

"I'm going on an adventure." Roland turned when Uncle Kili lowered the jar of cookies once more unaware of the effects those two simple words were having on the Captain. He was just having so much fun playing pirates that he was a bit preoccupied and not really all that mindful of what he was really doing. He just got so caught up in his little world sometimes that he didn't really take into consideration that he may be putting himself in danger or that he was making the Pirate Captain happy. Though he did catch the simple smile playing on the man's lip which made Roland smile more. He liked making people feel better when they weren't seemingly happy for whatever their reasons. Normally, that merely resulted in a hug or a badly drawn picture, possibly even a card depending on the situation, but at the moment it seemed just playing around was just as good. Surely put him in a good mood, even better when he had someone else playing around with him. Generally, other kids were a lot more fun, but some of them were kind of mean in a sense or at least a few of the older kids. Not that Roland really let them get to him too much because he knew calling them out on it would merely cause more trouble than it was worth. Plus, he didn't think his Daddy would approve very much if he started fighting back and so he just stuck to himself. Unless, he was with the few adults in his life that he actually enjoyed being around. "Your right...they...we can't let them win. Good always wins," replied Roland as he stood as straight as possible as if to prepare for some big battle. He was quite honestly just making things up as he went along and apparently so was Uncle Killy much to the little boy's delight as they headed for the captain's quarters. They made the last remaining distance and Roland quickly dashed inside trying to figure out a spot to hide the jar of cookies while Killi locked the door. After all, they couldn't have just anyone coming in here while his prized collection of cookies lay in plain view. He scanned the room carefully for a good spot to hide it amazed by the huge space and general tidiness of the cabin. He hadn't been in here during his little exploration of the ship as he'd already found the old pirate hat and had eagerly gone upstairs not long afterwards. He beamed though when Uncle Kili called him Captain Hood which only further encouraged the small boy. He wished Uncle Killi could always be his babysitter because he was just so much and not at all boring like that other one who just made him sit quietly. He turned though breathing heavily from the small little run down the long stairway smiling a toothy grin. He watched in excitement when Uncle Kili turned back towards the little boy explaining what they now needed to do. The plan was simple enough and they just really needed a good place for the jar of cookies. After all, there was no telling how long his crew could hold off the bad guys. He wondered about them for a moment hoping they were okay, but the thoughts didn't last long as he turned right around watching Kili with his jar of cookies. He tried to find a good place himself only to start laughing when Uncle Kili played the cookies on his desk. "Not there Uncle Kili...that's a silly place," insisted the young boy as he put his hands on his hips trying to act like he was completely in charge. It hard to decide really who was the biggest child in the room if you didn't count the difference in age. Roland never seemed to mind though that he got along with adults more than other kids. He just found he gravitated towards them more or at least his father in particular. Not hard to believe really, but he was getting better at being more talkative though apparently his dad was going to be helping him pick out a pet soon enough. That was rather exciting to the little boy as he searched the room and climbed into the chair to get a better view. MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOXOGRPHY 2.0

The sweet bubbly laugh of the little boy only ignited the pirate to continue to play. Slapping his forehead at the comment . Wanting to to truly sell being a clueless without the brave Captain Hood. It was good for the ship to have laughter. Much like any home laughter cleared cob web's and gave light in the darkness. That's what this small boy whether he knew it or not was doing. Far to long many a hardships were born on the deck of this ship.
Racing out of his thoughts focusing on the here and now. Tapping his hook against his pretending to deeply ponder what Roland was saying. but captain if that isn't good then where shall we hide it ? shrugging his shoulder extravagantly .
Snapping his finger taking the jar to the book case half hazardly placing books about it . Wanting to make it look like a horrible job of hiding the treasure. this any better my captain?

"I'm going on an adventure." Roland was pretty much oblivious to the affect he was having on the normally reserved Pirate Captain. He just knew that he was enjoying his time on the pirate ship with someone he rather liked. How many kids could say they had been on a pirate ship before? Probably not very many, but that just made it all the more awesome for the little boy. It meant he would have really cool stories to tell later on when he next visited the play structure. He laughed a little more though when Killian slapped his forehead as if he knew that it was a silly spot to hide treasure. At least he thought so trying to be serious, but finding it didn't exactly work when he was having this much fun. He was just too easily excitable at this point of time knowing that he was having a much better time here than he would have with his babysitter. Or at least the current one that he was being stuck with at the given time. It was always someone different and well some of them were fun, they didn't compare to Regina or Robin. Actually he was sure no one could really be as good as them. "Well it's gotta be somewhere the bad guys won't see it," informed Roland as he searched for a place himself to place the jar while Hook seemed to think about it himself. He glanced down at the desk he was standing over and wondering if any of the drawers would fit the jar. Except they looked rather small for what he needed so that wasn't a good place. He wasn't even really paying attention to Hook at this point as he was rather a bit preoccupied, pausing to stare out the window of the ship. He could see straight out to the ocean that it was rather pretty having never seen so much water before. He still needed to see about his Dad taking him swimming, but that was for a later date he supposed. Maybe his puppy would even come and play in the water with him, assuming his Dad wasn't too mad staring out and wonder just all the places this ship had been. He often wondered what sort of adventures had been made while he wasn't around, but the adults were keeping their mouths quiet. Which was rather frustrating for the little boy because he just got more and more confused by everything happening. He shook his head of the thoughts as quickly as they arrived turning his attention back to Hook as he moved about the cabin. Roland occasionally glanced at the door, but there was nothing let alone a sign that they were in trouble. He suppose he could have made trouble, but this was much too fun. He watched curiously though when he start piling books around it making the boy laugh even more shaking his head. He quickly rushed over, tripping a bit over the small rug as he hurried over in his excitement. He managed to straighten himself though as he wanders over to inspect it anyways. "No, no that won't do. We need really good place...their my cookies...chocolate and everything. Wait I know we can hide it in the closet maybe or...under the desk that might work. No wait... we can use a fake jar...put the cookies in something else and then they'll get nothing," rambled Roland as he tried to figure something out, actually working his hardest to locate something finding an old vase and beaming proudly. That looked as good a place as any he thought clapping his hands. MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOXOGRPHY 2.0

Watching the rambling child was adorable but Killian needed the boy to make make a choice . Roland seemed to be all over the place . Smiling a lopsided grin crossing his arms the amusement of the tiny boy trying to make decisions was cute scene .
if I may be so bold my Captain the colder sounds like the best choice out of all of them. And we can protect it from the bad guys. stating matter of factly. Gripping the jar of invisible cookies taking it the closet. Opening the door briskly tossing the jar in and shutting the door. there now to the ready draw your sword Captain hood we must be prepare to fight for your treasure.
Drawing out his cutlass waying it before him self but away from the boy. what do you say Hood are you ready for a fight? Robin and Regina must be searching for the boy . Hook thought to himself as played with the little boy . Knowing that Roland has a tendency of wandering off but why was he on the ship or this far out of the forest? how did fine the Jolly Roger Master Hood ?
