Bae didn't have any reason to think that his papa had just lied to him about anything that he had just said. His papa had never lied to him before, and, he somehow knew he never would.

Sitting down on the chair by the table in their cottage, Bae watched his papa walk towards the fireplace. He tapped his fingers on the table top, as he glanced around the cottage. Looking back at his papa, Bae softly shook his head “No papa. I haven't.” Bae said, smiling softly at him.

Bae grabbed his papa's hand, as he sat there with him by the fireplace. He didn't need anything or anyone else. All he needed was right here next to him.
