You may know me by more colorful moniker There it was , Rumpelstiltskin had told Bae a lie. A lie to hide that mask of cowardice. Rolling his head back in anger not at the lad beside him but by the fibb that the Dark One had to tell the boy that rather then spilling the truth. That he was a coward that Millah came freely. She had grown sick of living the life that she was being forced to. Hating to leave Bae behind for weeks she would cry and hum the lullaby she had sang to her son so long ago.
aye my mother died and my father wasn't what you say adept to handle Liam my brother nor I . he abandon us on a voyage left one night without warning. It wasnt until the morning that I realized that we were alone. But it can make you stronger if you let it and your not alone here me and my crew will be your family. This is what Milah would want to have Bae be with the people she felt like we're family.

Bae had no idea this was a lie that his papa had told him, yes he knew he was a coward, but, he didn't ever actually believe it caused him to lie to him. He didn't know that this pirate knew more about his mother then anyone else, or that he had been the reason she left him. His mother didn't know how many nights he had spent crying after that moment, because he didn't even get a chance to say goodbye to her.
“I'm sorry to hear that. I know what's it's like to have a parent not feel like he could take care of you on their own. It didn't hit me that I was alone until a really short time after. I've never felt more stronger. I kind of like the sound of that. Not being alone is one thing, but, actually having a kind of family." Bae still wasn't sure why this pirate had changed his attitude the moment he said his name, but, he didn't mind so much.

The breath that he had been holding was finally able to be released. Bae was slowly coming to the idea of Jolly Roger crew beinmg family. Which was to Killian felt as if Milah was smiling good fortune his way.
Knowing that the boy would be better off with him then the clutches of Peter Pan. it is amazing at what time the pain will strike but you have to let it go . use it for another purpose. When I was lad and abandoned I focused my agony into learning how to sail. If you want I cant teach you
Killian couldn't stop the smile twisting his lips . soon those feelings of pain for the boy would diminish perhaps then he could tell Bae the truth of what really happen.

Bae felt weird finally admitting this out loud, but, in the short time he'd been here, he'd started to feel like Hook was a father type to him. And that this whole crew could be a type of family.
Bae knew nothing about this island, but, he was sure it was safer here then with Peter Pan. “I just never thought he'd be the one to cause me the pain. Letting go isn't exactly easy to do. You know what I kind of like the sound of that.”
A small smile grew on Bae's face, as he stood by the wheel of the ship. Bae wasn't sure the pain would ever truly disappear, but, maybe he could replace it with other feelings instead. Ones of feeling wanted, and, like he belonged somewhere.

Reaching out taking a light hold of back Bae's neck. Giving one more squeeze before letting go Killian could understand the amount of trust it took for Baelfire to open up. Feeling so honored to be the one the lad did so with.
aye it always hurts more when a loved one betrays us . that will vanish but with time. Soon the pain and hole in your heart will go standing up moving to the back of the wheel waving the boy over to him come let try teaching you sailing once more a small smile slithered over his lips wanting to start on the happier times for the boy.

Bae's eyes shifted towards the direction of Hook, as he felt the grip on his neck. Surprisingly it felt comfortable, but, he wasn't sure why. He had opened up to Hook, which wasn't easy for him. Bae hadn't even been able to open up to the Darlings, and, now he found himself opening up to a pirate of all people.
“Are you sure? Because it's been a few months since it happened, and, it's still there.” Bae said, sighing softly. Bae looked up at Hook as he waved him over towards him. He stayed put for now, but, kept his gaze on Hook. “I like the sound of that. If you're really up to the challenge.” Bae smiled softly, as he made his way back over towards Hook at the pirates wheel.

Hook could sense that for now Baelfire would need guidance but he would also need give Bae space. If pushed to muc then Killian knew he would loose the boy. Smiling ruefully down at the ground allowing others to make their own decisions especially ones that would hurt in the long run was difficult for pirate.
But with the word challenge Killian couldn't help but grin. Challenges he liked challenges he could handle. Aye now that I like the sound of Baelfire. when the lad didnt come the man sighed heavily. This would be one of those times to not to push.
Smee come take the wheel locking sights on the lad I'm heading down below into my cabin your welcome to stay here or we may keep the conversation below. But I have paper have things I need take of. about face Hook moved down the steps heading to cabin below.

Bae continued to look at Hook, still not quite sure how much he could let him in at once. Last time he'd let someone in, it had only ended in heartbreak for him, and, he wasn't sure he could do that again. In a way he was glad that Hook seemed to be giving him some space. Bae continued to stare down at the ground, as he felt the ship rocking against the waves.
Mentioning the whole 'challenge' thing made him curious as to what the pirate thought of him as a challenge. “I guess I do too.” Bae said with a small smile. But, he had stayed put for the most part, still trying to work on feeling comfortable around him.
Looking up in surprise, Bae wasn't sure why Smee was being called to the wheel. His mention of having to go down below deck made Bae both confused and curious. “What kind of paperwork does a pirate have to do?” Bae asked, as he followed Hook below deck and looked around.

Below going past few men playing games and drinking. The chef in the gulley was preparing food for the evening. The smell of fish and potatoes lingered in the air. Moving forward in slower stride. Captain logs, which include food intake, and oil etc . If you don't have proper information then in turn will have an unruly ship.
It was one of the things Liam had thought him . Navy and his brother taught Killian the art of protocols. Which lead to good form at the time meant more to him then anything. Hands reaching out to the bronze coin weighing heavily in his trousers pocket.
Pushing the wooden door open to the cabin. Killian took off his belt sliding his sword down on the bed . maneuvering to the large oak desk by the bay windows . take a look around there is another cabin across the hall that is empty if you desire it take it. it had been Milah's and his long ago when Liam had been alive. Sitting down in the chair. Began to work on the ledgers for Jolly Roger.
