Pulling her hoodie over head lily snuck in the back door of the store locking it behind her. The last the thing she or Neal needed was surprise visitor. Briskly walking to the office smiling seeing the knocked out owner. I was starting to wonder what happen to you. Good thing there was a full bottle then huh? spying the now close to empty bottle of vodka. Rubbing her hands together in excitement let's get cracking we have a safe that must be broken into and I desperately want to get out dodge before the big man wakes up to find his goods stolen.poking her head in more glancing about the office and back at Neal okay so where is the safe ?

Neal stood there and waited for Lily to arrive in the store. Glancing at the store owner passed out on the counter, he tapped him gently with his foot just to make sure he wasn't going to stir. Chuckling softly at Lily, Neal nodded "Yeah, lucky there was. If that had failed, I was just going to punch him to get the job done." Neal turned his gaze to the empty bottle knowing he was going to have to get rid of that when this was done. "That we do. I really don't want that either. Although, I could always find a way to let him think I dealt with it. Police and all." Neal knew that since he technically worked here that part could be easy if it had to be done. Standing there, he glanced back out of the corner of his eyes to check that the owner was still passed out, and, that no-one else was coming before looking back at Lily. "The safe is in the back room. This way." Neal gestured his hand, as a way to tell Lily to follow him.

Nodding her head moving around back of to deal with the safe, she would have said something about Neal dealing with cops or clean up the mess they would leave behind. No one gets left behind no one.
Pushing the hoodie back heading in the shop owners office. The guy was perv to the highest level half naked pictures of women thrown about the room. Shuddering not wanting to touch anything . great me with out my gloves she whispered knocking some magazines off the top of the iron safe. Lily knew she should feel bad about stealing but the guy had it coming.
Looking about trying to find a clue for code on the safe. The one thing she notice the guy had was he liked one type of body forum. Hourglass 36-24-36 smirking shaking her head . spinning the dial till it popped open. Grabbing the case running back to Neal let's go bro I got the goods.

Neal stood there with Lily, as he watched her follow him around to the back room where the safe was kept. Dealing with cops was nothing new to him, but, he wasn't going to let Lily go down if it came to that.
Adjusting his jacket, Neal decided to re-arrange some stuff in the store, just to make it look more like an outsider had broken in to the shop. While he was at it, he also slipped a couple of other items into his pockets, ones that he knew were never going to be claimed again. He moved himself closer to where the store owner was, lifting his head slightly to make sure he was still unconcious, smiling softly and nodded in satisfaction as he saw he was.
He knew deep down that this guy was a creep, obvious by some of the magazines that he had noticed him reading, and, leaving laying around. Neal grunted with disgust, he would never treat or look at girls in that manner or state. But, he had deep down in some way that Neal had actually liked the friendship with this guy.
There wasn't alot he valued, in fact he hadn't had much before Lily. But, one thing he valued was friendship, whether fake or not. It was just who he was. Neal was just placing a couple more items in his pockets when he heard Lily coming back out from the back room. "Alright, let's go." Neal smiled at Lily, before turning back to face the owner on the counter. "Quick before he wakes up." Neal then took Lily's free hand and quickly went to drag her out of the store.

Being dragged out the store Smiling and laughing holding on to the small box of watches. This was it this was their chance of happy normal life. Caribbean here they come Lily could feel the sun already on her skin. A giant island with her and Neal surrounded by piles of money. Ahh what a life, getting to the car she opened the passager door hopping into the seat.
come on come on let's go Neal. bouncing in the seat. Was this how they get their happy ending Smiling at him . the cops weren't coming which a good sign but the longer they waited more likely hood of then getting caught.
Looking about for sirens still nothing Neal buddy I think we should go before we become new playmates for harden criminals . I don't know about you but I don't want to be someone cuddle buddy.

Neal continued to drag Lily out of the store, and, he smiled softly as he thought of what they could do with the money after they sold these watches. It was giving them a chance at a normal life for once, and, giving him something he lost a long time ago. A life with someone he cared about. The two of them far away from all of their troubles. Neal opened the car door as he slid in next to Lily on the drivers side.
“Alright I'm on it.” Neal said, as he placed the keys in the car, and began to start the engine. Before just resting his hands on the steering wheel. Could this finally be how he got the happy ending he had always wanted in this world? The cops weren't coming which was good for the most part. It meant that they may actually get away with this.
There were still no sirens which wasn't unexpected since he had a key to the store. “Yeah, you're right we should go. A hardened criminals plaything, that's not a fun idea. I don't actually want that either to be quite honest. So, I'm going. I'm going.” Neal then hit the gas pedal and began to drive away from the store as quickly as he could.

Drumming her hands against the dash of the yellow beetle , YES shooting out this was it this was everything they wanted and more . grabbing the bag pulling out the watches I have a buyer I can meet them in an hour you stay at the room .
With the high that she was feeling Lily knew she should tell the secret she had been harboring for while now. Fear had been keeping her from telling the truth . shifting in the seat of the vehicle. Licking her lips she was nervous her stomach tied into knots .
Neal I need to talk to you about something nothing bad ..well I don't think it's bad? fiddling with the necklace that hung around her neck. remember how we always said we would be honest. I need to be honest now Neal I no longer think of you in the way as brother . I think I have feeling for you Neal when I with you I don't feel as alone . she kept staring at his profile her nerves stood on ends waiting for his reply.

As he continued to drive, Neal kept listening out wondering if sirens had gone off yet. Obviously not because they hadn't been followed. This was the best he'd felt in a long time and, definitely the most free. “Sounds like a plan. Just remember that the man keeps his hands where you can see them, and, where you can see them. You know what some of them are like around women.”
Neal had been in the thieving game for as long as he could remember, at least since he'd run away from the foster system, but, this was the first time he hadn't been doing parts of it alone. Neal kind of liked having a partner in crime, it made him feel like he had someone who could help him when he needed it when it came to heists.
Suddenly his attention was turned to Lily as she seemed to direct all of her attention on him. “Yeah, I remember complete honesty.” Neal said, as he ran his own crystal through his fingers before looking up at Lily. “Oh, well that's definitely a surprise to say the least. I mean I don't feel as alone with you either, not by a long shot. I'd be lying if I said I didn't have my own feelings in there somewhere, but, I'm not sure what to do about them. I mean, I don't want to ruin what we have, but, I do feel less lonely with you too.”

don't want to ruin what we have. lily felt ill she had just bared her soul and neal though he didn't mean to had broken her heart. turning about shoving her hands into the pockets of the jacket she was wearing. doing this to hide the trembling of her hands , shutting her eyes quickly willing her self to stop crying.
No one chose her so why would Neal be any different? Her real family didn't nor did Emma. hanging her head licking her lips her mouth felt dry . cracking her eyes open I remember and I promise I wont Neal you know me I dash at the first sign of trouble. she wouldn't bring up how much that hurt her. in stead a gas station lights flickered on spotting the light off in the distance.
Neal please pull over for a sec I have to go to the bathroom. Lily would do what she always done she would run and leave Neal the one person in her dust. zipping the jacket up pulling the hood over her head. out the corner of her eyes she spotted the bag of watches. it was her chance for a good future but it was also Neal's as well . Sighing Lily would leave that for him she wouldn't leave him with nothing.

Neal had his reasons for not wanting this to turn into something more. What they had was good, but, everytime he started to let himself get really close to someone and past all of his walls, they ended up gone from his life or hurting him. His father, Wendy, Hook. He didn't want to risk that with Lily, the only person he had left in this world.
His father hadn't wanted him, hadn't chosen him and none of the foster families had. Lily was the only person who chose to be with him, and, he knew that he had probably just said the wrong thing. Neal had his reasons though, and, he would let Lily know that at some point. “I know. You and me both. Glad to hear it.” Neal said, smiling softly. At least he wasn't going to lose her to some creep tradesman.
At Lily's words about wanting him to pull over, Neal nodded “Oh um, of course.” Neal said, as he pulled into the gas station. Neal watched as Lily went to get out of the car, and, he watched her make her way into the gas station bathroom. He decided to just wait outside in the car for her to finish in there.
After quite a bit of time had passed, Neal realised that Lily still hadn't come back. And he came to the conclusion, that she left him as well. It shouldn't surprise him, everyone did it. Neal wasn't going to let it get to him, he just glanced back and saw the watches still on the back seat, knowing what he had to do. He would store them somewhere, until he could find a buyer for the watches. Neal just had to figure out where. Neal started the bug and drove away from the gas station, working out where to go as he drove.
