HISTORY:
Riley's the daughter of an infamous Pirate, it's unsure who her birth-father actually is. Not even Riley knows, that. Only time will reveal that mystery. She was born in Camden New Jersey, her mother was a smalltown-fisherman and a part-time thief. Riley and her mother spent hours on the open sea catching ends-meat. And on the side-lines Riley was taught at a young age to pick-pocket and steal efficiently without being caught. By the age of ten Riley new how to fish almost anything on the open-waves, not to mention her growing talent of pick-pocketing. She could steal a watch off a mans wrist without a trace. Life was good, until her mothers mysterious disappearance. Riley's mother had gone fishing and never returned. Riley waited three days and when her mother didn't comeback, she went looking for her. So fourteen year old Riley Marshe set out to sea, in a crappy homemade fishing boat, with only a weeks rations and her lucky fishing cap. Three months she spent in the blue, looking for even a trace of her mother. See found nothing, no clues, no boat, no corpse, nada, not even her mothers clothes smelled of the usual, fish-guts, tobacco and strawberry bubblegum scent. It seemed as if the world had forgotten about her, but Riley wouldn't. She refused to stop looking. But One thundering, throat-cut storm was all it took, all it took to destroy all she held dear. Her boat, her maps, her mothers pictures, clothes, belongings. All was destroyed and washed away into the sea, never to be seen again. Two days later, Riley's water-beaten and bruised body washed up onto Story-Brook shores. She laid there limp as a dead-fish until someone discovered her remains and called for help. Next thing she new she was in a hospital, pending on recovery.
It's been four months since her mothers disappearance and three-weeks since she arrived at Story-Brook.
Unsure of what lies ahead, she continues her search for Victoria Marshe, her beloved mother and teacher. Hoping that her arriving at storybook was no freak accident, that it was indeed fate itself. That somehow Story Brook holds clues to her vanishing.
Each happy ending's a brand new beginning, let yourself be enchanted, you just might break through...
roleplaying sampleRiley was a pretty girl, not too pretty but not hideous either. She was nor a child but not an adult, at the peak of her adolescence she was about fifteen. With eyes that were devilishly hazel and charming at the touch. Hair like locks of blackened sun that shone like gold in daylight. She was the perfect thief, innocent enough to seem harmless but clever enough to get what she wanted. And by God she knew and took advantage of that, when your fourteen and don't have a job nor want one. Having such talents can be a blessing, or if you get caught, a curse. But either way its what it takes to survive in this time and age. Riley wouldn't classify herself as your typical trouble-maker, no she was much more than that. "I don't cause trouble, It follows me around like a puppy." Maybe that was true, maybe not but from her perspective. Trouble isn't something that can be controlled, especially if your a pirates daughter. It's an instinct a natural act of survival. Wither you believe that or not is entirely up to you.
