in our secretest heart, it's our favourite part of the story.
let's just admit we all want to make it too.

In her home in England shared with two brothers and two parents, Wendy had always believed magic was interesting. Through the stories she tells to her brothers before bedtime, she liked to imagine actually using magic. It was just a regular uneventful day, when Wendy stumbled upon a boy around her age stealing bread. His name was Baelfire. She offered him all of it, determined not to let him starve and offered him to stay with her. After that, Wendy’s family accepted him as a guest in their house. The Darlings and Bae grew close together and eventually became like family to each other. Wendy and Bae share their different opinions about magic with each other when an amused Wendy sees a Shadow dancing by her window. Though she agrees to never open the window, her curiosity gets the best of her, and upon opening the window, she gets taken to Neverland. No girls were wanted on the island, so the Shadow returns her to England with the intention of taking one of her brothers in her place. Bae sacrifices himself for the Darlings, to their wholehearted dismay, and is taken to Neverland.
Wendy, feeling responsible for Bae’s kidnapping, goes to Neverland to rescue him. However, this only gets her captured by Peter Pan. For nearly a century, Wendy is kept in custody by Pan locked in a cage, only being let out for necessities and whenever Pan needs her to do his bidding. Being on Neverland, Wendy remains at her perpetual teen age, along with John and Michael, who are being blackmailed into working for Pan in exchange for Wendy’s safety.
Time goes by, and now as an adult, Baelfire returns to the island to save his son from Pan. Stumbling upon Wendy and recognizing her, he breaks her free and offers for her to tag along in the escape. After rescuing Henry, Wendy goes to Storybrooke with everyone else, and is happily reunited with her brothers.

Rapunzel stood at the edge of her windowsill, looking cautiously at the multicolored world just below her tower. Her father was waiting at the bottom with all their stuff, most likely wondering what the hell she was doing, but she pushed those thoughts from her mind. This is the moment she had been waiting for and she wanted to live and savor every moment of it. Green eyes glanced up at the hook that was attached to the overhang of her tower roof and just a few inches out of her windowsill. She reached down and took her hair, looping it over the hook as a pulley."Look at the world, so close and I'm halfway to it. Look at it all, so big. Do I even dare?" she said, glancing down at Pascal who rested on her shoulder. She leaned out, holding onto her hair. Should she rethink this entire thing? "Look at me, there at last, I just have to do it." Rapunzel said with determination, before looking down again, feeling doubts fill her spirit. "Should I...?" A moment of silence."No! Here I go." the princess said, finalizing her decision. She tugged at her golden hair and threw it out of her window sill so it trailed down to the bottom near her father. Gripping her hair tight and securing the frying pan under her arm (her father said to bring a weapon just in case, so why not a frying pan?), Rapunzel leaped out of her tower to seal her fate. And before she reached the bottom, Rapunzel hung there, inches from the ground, staring at the grass on the ground. She was nearly there. Loosening her body and straightening out, Rapunzel finally set foot on the world that she had been dreaming of. "Just smell the grass, the dirt, just like I'd dreamed they'd be! Just feel that summer breeze, the way it's calling me!" The grass was tickling her feet, but warm and welcoming, making her laugh. She laid on the ground, feeling the summer breeze and picking a flower she had only seen in books. Standing again, and completely forgetting her father is there, she stepped into a small clear water creek that she hardly noticed from the top of her tower. Water, real free flowing water! For, like, the first time ever, she was completely free. She could go running, and racing...
