Bae meant it when he said he would always love him and always come home. He had proven it didn't he? Bae had been furious when his papa used magic to make the decision to bring him home for him, and yet, he came home anyway. As he watched his papa step away, he sighed and looked at his papa. Just sitting there looking at him, Bae liked this here. The two of them together in this little cottage of theirs. He knew that his papa didn't believe him, but, that was one thing he hated. Bae didn't like that, it was hurtful to think that his own father didn't trust him at all, and didn't believe what he wanted was to be with him. The two of them were happy right? Bae thought so, or at least once were, until that Dark One dagger came into his father's possession and he became different. Hurting people with magic whenever he could. In fact, it scared him at times. A small smile grew on Bae's face as his papa turned back to face him and he looked up at him. "Yeah, I guess not papa" Bae said, sighing softly. At his papa's question, he looked down. "Papa, do you really think I need or want things like that? There's only a couple of things I wish for, I wish for you to trust me more and let me see more of the village then just the cottage, and the other thing I wish for is you." Bae I do trust you its the world I don't kneeling down before his not so little boy any more. no longer afraid of the boogie man or the shadows that would cross the wall. why would he be when he was so much more frighten of the dark one. a lump began to form and grow. soon Bae would leave him just like Milah , eyes searched his clever boys face for any sign of betrayal of leaving but saw none. since his mother left Bae had proven to be just as strong as the unscrupulous pirate had said Bae would become. squeezing the young man hands rumple stood up uneasily staring at the ground . I release you. You are no longer prisoner from my anger . I never want you to feel as if im keeping some where you don't want to be . I ..love you son. the tighter he held Milah the more she pulled away Rumple didn't want the same fate for him and Bae.

“I am glad to hear you trust me, but, we both know, you can't protect me from the world forever.” Bae said, looking in his father's eyes as he kneeled down in front of him. Glancing into them, he looked deeply inside them, hoping to see anything, but, the reflections of the darkness inside it. Bae hoped that, if he could still see the goodness that he once saw inside the eyes of his father, then maybe it was possible that he was still more then the Dark One, that he was still the father he once was. Bae smiled softly at his father as he continued looking at him. He knew that his father was worried he'd leave and never come back, and no matter how many times he said the opposite, his father seemed to think he was lying. Looking at him, Bae looked down as his father gently squeezed his hands and he squeezed them back before watching his father stand up. “That's not it. I do want to be here papa, I just don't want to be forced to only be here. I love you too papa, I always will.” Bae said, before standing up and wrapping his hands around his papa, hugging him gently. Mr.Gold/Rumpelstiltskin

he could keep Bae safe from the world , keep him at this stage of life forever. all it would take is a wave of the hand and the boy would remain a child forever. never leaving always staying how he could keep his son from the pains of life. heart ache, disappoint and death. but Bae wouldn't accept this gift no he longed for the world. how the world would see his goodness and swallow and spit him out. reaching out to caress the youthful cheek of the boy. I know you cant stay forever Bae its just when you leave my world will be nothing but darkness . your the one light in it. im afraid that if lost you I would lose myself. the crawling and biting of the darkness creepig over his heart each day became harder to resist. soon it take hold and man the spinner he knew would be gone a bitter memory to pathetic life. Bae knew that his father could actually make it that he was at a age where he could protect him forever, but, that would involve magic and he didn't want him to use magic just for that reason. He wanted to grow up, so that his papa could one day meet the woman he started to love and they could one day have a family with more then just them. He did love it being just the two of them, but, he couldn't wait for them to add more to their family one day possibly. Bae wanted to see more of this world one day, all areas of the Forest, and hopefully one day he could do so with his father, the two of them being together where-ever they went. Feeling his papa caress his cheek, Bae smiled and leant sideways onto the hand, enjoying his papa's touch. “I would never leave for good papa. I want to stay in your life no matter how old I get. You're my father and the only family I have. If I ever go anywhere for a long period of time, I'd hope you'd want to come with me. I would be the same way papa, if we ever got seperated for good, I'd be lost as well. I'd lose myself and not know who I am anymore.” Bae didn't want his papa to become a completely dark man. He knew that there was still some goodness inside his father, he saw it in his eyes. He would always hope that this goodness would be the one thing that could one day help his father be like the father he once knew, and maybe even give up that power for good. The sweet words of untainted heart. They always saw the brightness on the rainy day , the hand caressing his boy's cheek dropped down to Bae's shoulder . Squeezing it not in a painful manner but one if saying a quiet I love you. Bae you never have to worry where ever you go I shall follow . I'll never leave you alone . Ever I vow Rumple wouldn't do that to him like Milah had. If he ever ran into either the pirate or his wife hell will rain down. Patting his boy back Rumple moved away to not want to think of such things near his son. The demons raged and fueled his mind of all the things he would dare to do. But what was stopping him? A man with all his power finding the sea dog and the woman no a woman would abandon a child she beneath that. Hands balling into fists a small tremor raked throughout him. The one reason neither of them are dead would be because of the boy sitting at the table god save them both if something ever happen to Bae for then the hounds of hell would unleashed upon them both. Turning to face Bae Dimple smiled kindly Bae was his strength against the inner turmoil .

Bae continued to look at his papa, the smile not leaving his face. He knew that deep down, there was brightness inside his papa, underneath that Dark One exterior. And he would never stop wanting it to come out. Feeling his papa's hand move to his shoulder, he turned to face it and smiled at him softly. It was gestures like this, that helped him believe that it was still there. At his papa's words, he felt himself fighting back happy tears, hearing that his papa wouldn't leave him. “Do you promise papa? And I'll never let that happen.” Bae asked, wanting to believe this more then anything. Feeling his papa pat his back, Bae watched him walk away from him, leaning his arms gently on the table, he watched him carefully. While he knew and hoped that his papa could keep his word and never leave him, but, as the Dark One, there was so much that Bae feared, something happening to his papa was on the top of that list. He knew there was only one real way to kill him, but, that wouldn't be able to stop his papa from being able to be hurt, which made Bae's fear grow. But, he would never reveal these fears out loud. As he continued to rest his chin on his arms, Bae glanced at his papa and suddenly saw the images come into his head. He shook his head gently, wanting them more then anything to just leave for good. Bae knew that his mother had already been killed, taken from him, and he couldn't handle if something happened to his father too. There was more risk of someone coming after his papa, since he had made a lot of enemies in this Forest. Seeing his papa turn back to face him, he lifted his chin and smiled at him again. Rumple nodded his head walking back to his sin kneeling down in front of Bae. He would always choose his boy his beautiful boy. Smiling up at his hope lifting up a hand to caress the teens cheek. I promise , I promise with all my heart nothing shall keep us apart besides you know your papa never backs out of promise. dropping his hand away come let us talk of happier things perhaps a visit to town ? Rumple wanted to keep his vow more then anything Bae was his home where his home would go that's where he desired to go... If only his gut wrenching dread would leave . Watching as his papa came back, Bae kept the smile on his face. His papa was all he had and all he needed. Bae would always choose his papa, he was his world, and his family. Tilting his head gently, he let his cheek rest on his papa's hand as he caressed it. Hearing his papa's words, Bae's eyes gently filled with tears as he heard the promise from his father, the promise he'd never leave him. "Yeah, that's true. The Dark One, Rumpelstiltskin, no matter what your known as, you always keep a promise." Bae said. Staring up at his papa, he smiled. "I'd like that papa. Happier topics, and, you and me visiting the town." Bae smiled softly, sighing softly. He wished he could help his papa change what he did in the Forest. Bae did have to admit that his papa was his home, even if he didn't seem like it as much these days with who his papa had become. "Of course I want to be seen with you. Why wouldn't I?" Staring down at their joined hands a modest glimmer of hope began to grow within his heart. Smiling widely nodding his head, for Bae to even agree to wanting to be seen with the dark one was a step forward be in it th right direction only time would tell.
alright let us go I believe I have some business to attend to there near the palace. a baker and his wife wanted a child and Rumple would happy to help with this for price..giggling shrilly . Lifting his boys hand up to his mouth kissing Bae's knuckles tenderly before letting go.
Moving validly through the cottage Rumple turned back to look at Bae . Opening the door a breeze rushed into the home rays of the sun raise blasted behind the dark ones frame. you ready Bae?
