During the curse, before Emma came to town. Back story  The end of the day she had been teaching the kids how to build a bird house, it was also to show them the important of creativity and mathematical skill. But she wouldn't tell them that it would ruin all the fun. The tiny brunette cleaned off the black broads and put a way the little odds and ends. By the time she got the room to a somewhat exceptionable, Mary Margret threw on her coat,scarf and walked out the schools main doors. The fall cool crisp air rushed at the teacher enough to make bundle her coat around her tighter. She about out of the play ground court yard when out of the corner of her eye she spotted one of her student. "Henry? Sweet heart what are you doing here?" Mary rushed over to him, she knew Regina had forgotten him again."You OK?" She reach out to feel his cheeks , which were cold like ice. The Teacher took off her scarf wrapped around the Henry's neck .How could she do this to him again, he didn't deserve this."How about I buy you a hot cocoa? My treat."

Mary Margret smiled down at Henry "Well lets at least go inside , your freezing I don't want you catch a cold ok." He looked so sad it broke her heart, he was always so quite. None of the other wanted to play with because of their fear of Regina. The Teacher tried her best to protect him , sometimes the other kids could be so cruel. Talking and poke fun because of Henry going o therapy.
"If your worried she won't see you, we can stand at main door. So when she pulls up you can see her through the window." Mary Margret held her hand out and gave a tight lipped smile. "I promise you won't miss her, okay." He did take , her smile went into full blow ."Alright Henry let's go get in the warmth, and see if can't get some color into you cheeks." Mary walked him into the main entrance hoping soon they could both warm up."Other then waiting on your Mom being late everything else okay?"

Mary Margret looked at the fragile little boy, he looked so broken. "I'm sure you are ." She patted his shoulder, her eyes dropped to the book he was carrying. She recognize the book it was the one she got for him to bring him hope. Turning her head away quickly and wrapping her arms around herself.
"So Henry how do you like the book?" Mary Margret wondered if helped at all,or if was just crutch for him."Whats your favorite story?" Titling her head down looking at him once more seeing how he lit up when she started to talk about the large leather bound book.
Mary Margret walked over to one side of the hall plopping down all of her items before sitting. "Why don't you read it to me , to kill sometime." This was how to reach you to get you to up , then I will talk your little ear off about them."My favorite fairytale would have to Snow White and seven dwarfs." Lowering her eyes to ground"they remind me that hope and believing in the possibilities is a powerful thing."

Mary Margaret smiled at Henry enthusiasm,"Please tell me about I would love to hear it." She crossed her legs at the ankles and folded her hand in her lap. She busted out laughing when told her ,she would make a great Snow White. The tiny teacher shook her head a sad smile on her mouth. Mary always wanted to have a happy end where Prince Charming would come out of the wood work and rescue her, but that was wishful thinking.
Turning her head down the long hallway filled lockers,"tell me about a story with a happy ending Henry, we need a bright moment in the darkness." All she ever wanted was to have a family ,but that like everything else was slipping through her fingers.

Mary Margaret sat amazed by Henry at story capability , her smile widen. "Did you come up with that? Was that in the book? A curse , to not know who you are...how sad to be so close to people you love but never know." Her heart actually broke for fictional character.
Blow away by Henry creativity, "So does the curse ever get broken? Because your right it needs a happy ending, where's the daughter?" Mary laughed for moment at all the questions she was asking sounding more like one of her students. Titling her head to the side,she pulled her coat off . "So if the daughter, left without anyone to tell her who she is how will she find her parents? How can she break the curse if she doesn't know?"

"I gave you a book that's unfinished?" Mary Margaret sat forward to stare at book to see blank pages, she could have swore it was finsihed when she bought it. Titling her head trying to think when did she buy this book. Her memory got foggy, like the pieces where there but didn't fit right.
"It will be Henry I wish I had your hope, just seems the more I try the further I get pushed back." The petite teacher started to fiddle with the hem of her skirt. "I don't know why, I'm even talking to you about this," she sighed allowing her head to lightly bang against the wall. "I trust you."
"Snow and Charming named there daughter Emma Swan?" Mary Margaret laughed a little at the thought, and shrugged "well I guess that fits for her. So have you googled her you could probably find out more if from there or do one of those tracker sites." She knew he would have to have a credit card to even do that but what was the harm in letting him dream.
"Who's going to get her? " she wonder did Henry get someone to believe this? Was it another adult in town, could it be Archie.
"So Emma's going to be coming to town then? When she gets here bring her by Henry I would love to meet her."

Mary Margaret gave him a suspicious glance"Wow, your really did your homework on this?" I wonder what is he up to? Henry knew a lot about this woman just to have made her up. She looked down at her watch , I will give Regina a few more minutes then I'm taking him home.
"A secret?" Mary smiled at Henry"Well, what if I want to thank my hero? How can I if I don't know his name?" She suddenly got the feeling that one of her students were about to do something regrettable. "You really do believe in this?" She wasn't being mean, his faith and hope was refreshing in such a bleak place. Turning her head to look out the glass door, a fornlook came over her. "Now if one of my students were going to do this I would say go for it. Hope for believing even in the possibility of a happy ending is a powerful thing."

"I hope so Henry, it would be nice to win for once." Mary Margaret smile at the boy with big heart. If only having that much faith in something was that easy. A saying she remember from childhood , if wishes were horse then even beggars would ride.Her brows furrowed she didn't know when she had heard that but she remember it.
"It's a very interesting story, full of lots of twisted and turns. I truly hope she gets her happy ending then." Mary Margaret leaned forward trying to take a peek to see who the author was, but she couldn't see a name. How strange to have a someone not wanting their name on something they created. A horn honk Mary Margaret looked out the window it was the Mayor,"Henry , your mom is here . Sweetie get your stuff together."

Mary smiled and waved as Henry rode away with his mother."Yes see you soon, Henry." Putting her scarf back on. "Another lonely weekend." She pushed the door open to walk out into the chilly air. The teacher knew that what she had told Henry could cause him to get in trouble, but the faith and the hope he had in the idea. She couldn't shoot it down, well either way it was a moot point Mary Margaret had to get to the hospital, she was volunteering for evening. Maybe hope can return even in a idea.
