Regina knew her words were getting to Red and she was thrilled with the look of agony on the other woman face. "Now the question is can you stomach killing another one of you boyfriends Red? Can you kill him to save him?" Titling her head blinking a couple of times at the waitress, she sighed and finished off her brandy.

"Don't talk about Peter that way! No one knew if the other was the wolf. It was all completely by accident." Ruby said. She could feel tears beginning to form behind her eyes. Ruby could remember that day like it was yesterday. She tried to keep the past behind her, but it always found ways to sneak up on her. Ruby wanted to move on. She never wanted to live with the regret that she was.
"Please. If you can tell me another way that will break James's curse without killing him, then please. Tell me." Ruby choked on those last words, and tears began to roll down her cheeks, she didn't want James to die.

Regina chortle at Red's reaction"You've fallen for him." She widen her eyes in shock."Not hard I assume James always was very Charming when he wanted to be." As much as she wanted to enjoy this amusement, the sight of all this was all most heart breaking to her. "There another way, James must put someone else life before his, only then can he break the curse ."
Rolling her eyes Regina saunter toward the bar again refilling her drink and pouring one for Red."Here you'll need this. What all has he told you of his past?" The Queen asked handing the tall brunette the drink.

"And so what if I've fallen for him? What then?" Ruby countered with Regina. She was in love with James. What did that matter to her? It was none of her business really. When Regina offered her the drink, Ruby refused.
"I think I'll be fine. Whatever you tell me you can tell me when I'm sober." She said. She just wanted to hear about James's past, so that maybe she could help him in breaking his curse. But not the first way, but the other way.

Regina Rolled her eyes "Have it your." She walked back around the desk to sit down."The last James ever love someone back in return was his mother. He did tell you died right ?" The took a sip of her drink "Well after that he never let anyone in always at an arms lenght. Burying her was when his heart started to darken."
"Jack the girl with bean stock , he watched her died as scurry away to safety. Of course not before grabbing a big bag of gold. To save his kingdom for a little while longer. James threw me away to marry Midas daughter so yet again his kingdom wouldn't be in ruins."
Regina leaned forward placing the glass on the desk ,"In other words he has never been in love , Red the curse can't be broken, because can't put anyone above.himself it's not in his nature. That's why I did that one to him, James had to learn his lesson."

Ruby sat and listened to what Regina had to say. She tried so hard to not let any of it get to her. She believed that James truly loved her, although he hasn't said anything yet. Ruby shook her head. Regina was just trying to get in her head, and to manipulate her feelings for James.
"Then tell me what I should do. If anything, tell me that." She said. Ruby could feel her heart slowly sinking to the floor. When was the next time she was going to be seeing James? Ruby had no idea. Maybe she should find that out soon so they could talk about all of this.

Regina leaned forward she didn't know why she was helping this woman."Listen don't believe or not the choice is yours, just giving you a hint of his past." She pushed her drink off to the side and place her elbows on the desk.
"Be up front with James ask him about what he is feeling." The brunette rubbed her brow bone the conversation had turned to the point of bonding with the wolf. "In the end ,Red only James can save himself. He has to trust someone enough to let them in if not then he is doom.

"I understand," Ruby said. She just wanted to be with James, and if this was the way that they could possibly be together for the rest of their lives, then Ruby knew what she had to do.
"Thank you Regina." Ruby said. "You don't know how much you've just helped James and I." She said, which was completely true. If Regina never told her about James's curse, then something terrible would've happened to either her or James, and Ruby would end up living in regret. Or worse, guilt. She couldn't live like that. Not again she couldn't.

"Yes well think of me as your fairy god mother ." Regina did a quick smile,"And now that you used my good deed card of the day , I believe we can go back to hating one another." The Queen stood up from the chair , she want to tell her good luck but feared that might be pushing it.
"Just remember lassie, I tried to warn you if it doesn't work, leopards don't change their spots." She started to fumble with her hand "I tried and failed at being good. Somethings just can not change." For your sake I do hope he has , perking her brows up "Is there anything else you like to ask me today?" Regina shrugged "If your wondering about the spell I put David under was only temporary, as soon as few hours went by it broke and he was right as rain." She held her hand "No he didn't know what he was doing either, nothing happen."

Ruby smiled. She was really glad that Regina was doing at least some good today, even if she did curse David for only a little while, and even if she cursed James for life. At least Ruby knew now what she had to do.
"Good looks nice on you Regina, you should wear it more often," Ruby teased. "But if you insist on us being enemies again, I can change into a wolf any time you want me to. Or, any time I'm provoked to do so." Ruby warned. "Don't forget that, Madame Mayor. I can still become a wolf if I was pushed enough. So let's set things straight, and don't try and pull any stunt that would make me want to turn, okay?" Ruby said, her voice firm. She wanted Regina to know that she meant business.
"And that's all I came here for, about David. So thank you." She said. Ruby got up to leave out of her chair, slowly. She wondered what the mayor had to say about all of that.
