Post curse and after thread Dark side of the heart.
Regina was sitting at her desk doing some daily paper work, when her office door slammed open. The Mayor jumped startle by the interruption,"Who the hell...." Rolling her eyes at the intruder. "You have to be kidding me , Hello Red how are you? How may I help?" She walked around her desk her purple desk swaying a little as she walked.
Regina leaned against the outer rim of the desk crossing her arms."Let me guess does happen do with a certain Prince?" She tapped her chin with her pointer finger. "Well I know it's not James, I already had that pleasure,(she cackle, and then winked at the waitress) and it looks like you to now. No this has to be about Charming"

Ruby stormed into Regina's office. She wanted to talk to her about the spell that Charming was under. Ruby knew right away that he was under the influence of magic, as soon as he walked into the diner that one morning. When he began denying that Snow was his wife, Ruby knew that it was Regina who was behind this. Ruby waited by the mayor's desk to be noticed, and sure enough she was. Regina knew about her and James! Ruby could feel her face blush and tried her best to hide it.
"What happens between James and I is none of your business." She growled, as she slammed both hands down on the marble desk. One of the wooden pencils rolled off in the aftermath. "And yes, this is about Charming." Ruby informed Regina. "I know that he's under one of your spells," Ruby confronted, as she crossed her arms over her chest. "I could smell your magic all over him." Ruby told the mayor, her eyes squinting down at her.

"Yes, Charming under spell, and it's just the start of what I have plan to come to little Snow White .Oh wait I should call her Black Heart." Regina stopped the rolling pencil on her desk, The Queen notice Red's blush about James."Oh did the big bad Wolf find a new chew toy? You have me to thank about that, did dear Princey tell you how I cursed him not to be able to died.One of my more brilliant hexes if I do say so myself."
Madame Mayor crossed her arms trying to prepare her self for the rest of this conversation."The spell Charming was under ended before any real fun could begin, as soon the spell broke David went running back to Snow with his tail between his legs." Regina pushed off the desk walked over to her office's bar and poured a small amount of brandy in tumbler. "Has James kissed you yet, he was always wonderful kisser." Turning slowly taking sip of her drink, licking her bottom , she tilted her and brought her glass up mouth. A mischievous grin appeared on her lips,"Do tell him I said hello." She winked at Red , hoping that last remark got her little pest angry.

Ruby's face blushed a bright red when Regina began talking about James again. This was none of her business! Ruby was getting frustrated as well, Regina was completely avoiding her question.
"Again, that's none of your business, Madame Mayor, or do I have to remind you in another way?" Ruby threatened. She would go wolf on her no questions asked if Regina continued to push her. "And you never answered my question about Charming. What the hell is going on with him now? He needs to be back with Snow, his real wife, and not with you." Ruby said, her tone filled with anger. This was the whole reason on why she came here in the first place, to try and get the spell off of Charming. So far she wasn't getting any luck.

"Nothing is going on with him now, my dear. The spell broke but I'm sure he has much to discuss with Snow." Regina took a sip of the brandy allowing the drink to burn her throat on the way down. "What will you do if I don't stop? Turn (shaking her heading at the idea.) Have you ever of the saying A smart man learns from his mistakes,but the wise man learns from the mistakes of others." The Queen leaned in at the waist and gave Red a lopsided grin. "So learn from your past mistakes , I've already had a number of complaints about you. I would so hate to a rope around that pretty little neck of yours."
Regina moved away from the bar started toward the brunette."Then again your kind probably response better to choke collar then to anything else." She kept walking behind Red "If you change I have them put you down, and James will never have his happy ever after."

By now Ruby was getting really frustrated. Regina was pushing her buttons, and she knew it. Ruby tried not to let it show, but she couldn't help it.
"I take great offense in what you just said, Madame Mayor," Ruby said as a growl escaped from her throat. "I may not be a wolf right now, but when you say those sorts of things to me directly, it hurts." Ruby said. She didn't like what Regina was doing here. "And I'm not going to change because I can control myself. Unlike some people." Ruby said as she stared straight through Regina. "And don't even think about getting anywhere near James." Ruby said aggressively. She didn't want James to be hurt because of what she's done. Too many people suffered from that.

"Hurt your feeling I'm sorry(she faked pouted) does this mean the slumber party is out then. We won't be able to braid each others hair? That's to bad so looked forward to that." The Queen rolled her eyes, stopped in front of Red now. With Snow going MIA Regina needed to have a little fun why not go a couple rounds with Little Red Riding Hood. "Oh lower blow my dear, just like you were able to control your self with David the other day? Pouncing the poor Sheriff to the ground. I would be careful Lassie. There are a few people still here who would love a wolf fur rug."
Regina eyes widen at the waitress order,"Stay away from James, oh that's rich . What are you going to do if I don't?" The Queen moved in closer there noses almost touching , a smug smile of victory on her lips. "He always was a beast in bed , I guess it's only fair that James falls for one in return." Breaking the stare down between the two of them she amble over to one of the plush chair n the office. "You know he can't died, well let me tell you how to break his curse if your interested." She sat in the seat and crossed her legs. "True love yes can this curse, but he has to be the one to admit. James has to say I can't live with out you." Leaning forward resting her arms on her knees "With his dying breath."

"He wouldn't listen to me!" Ruby protested, as she backed away from Regina just the slightest bit. "I was trying to get him to listen to what I was saying, but I guess that didn't work." Ruby said. When Regina told her that James was basically immortal, Ruby was confused. What curse would she be breaking?
"I'm not sure what you're trying to tell me," Ruby said, as she shifted her gaze to the mayor's desk. Ruby wasn't comprehending anything that Regina was telling her about James. "His curse is that he can't die? Is that it?" Ruby asked Regina.

Regina coughed "You mean to tell me James didn't you?" Oh how she enjoyed this "James and I used to be lovers, when the little dear broke off our arrangement so he could marry Midas daughter. (Shrugging a little)So when he left I cursed him never to died, but to be able to watch everything he holds dear to die around him." It was only fair he broke her heart so she would do the same for him.
"As far as you breaking his curse yes and no." Regina took a sip of the brandy enjoying the confused on Red's face."James has to admit, he loves you,but there a catch." There's always a catch my dear."He has to say he loves you with his last dying breath. Pretty hard to do for the man who can't die."

Ruby stood there and listened to what Regina was telling her. This was a pretty complex curse that she cast, and Ruby wasn't sure how she felt about it. She bit her bottom lip and held her gaze to the ground, avoiding any eye contact with Regina.
"He has to tell me that he loves me, as he's...dying." Ruby couldn't even form the words. Pain swelled up in her heart. This wasn't fair. This wasn't fair to anyone, especially James. Ruby turned away from Regina for a moment, trying to think things through. What was she going to do?
