Before the curse set before the Red Handed ep.
Late at night Snow sat next to the fire, she was watching over Red. The poor woman had a trying couple of days. Even though she would say she was the princess knew better. When sleep would finally take her friend, she would toss and turn crying out for Peter, sometimes she would reach out.
Snow frowned and pulled her cloak tighter about her, just Red groaned rolled once more. When Granny forced them away the brunette was a wreck, it took her two days to stop crying.Snow pulled out her water and took a sip, looking over again at Red seeing that she was starting to wake up. She quickly put a way the water and threw a another log to try to take the chill away. "Red would like me to fix you something to eat you need to keep your strength up."

Red laid in bed, face down. She didn't want to do anything. She was just told by Granny that she wasn't aloud to see Peter, at all. Not even during the day. It was "too dangerous" and "it's still Wolf's Time". Red wanted to be angry, but instead she was just depressed. When Snow tried to comfort her, Red would just groan underneath the blankets.
"I don't want anything at the moment," Red mumbled through the thick fabric. "But thank you for asking." She said. Red just wanted to continue lying in the bed, not doing anything.

Snow did an unamused face, she pulled the covers back to look at Red's face. "What if we could come up with a plan so you could see peter" The princess hoped this would at least make her friend happy again. Snow got up from the bed and finish pulling the blanket off Red.
"I know this looks bleak right now but please don't loose hope, all will work out." She moved over to the fire , titled her head and then look back at the pooped up brunette. "Would you be interested hear my plan?" A slight sparkle of mischief in her eyes. "It's , going to involve lying and betraying Granny. Are you ok with that?"

"A plan?" Red asked, curious as to how they would even make their plan (whatever it was) work. Red looked up at Snow with a hopeful look in her eyes. She finally sat up in the bed. She wanted to hear all about Snow's plan.
"Do you have any idea what we're going to do? And what about Granny? You know she never lets me out, even in the day light." Red said, rolling her eyes. Her Grandmother was so protective of her, that Red felt trapped. "I feel like a rat in a trap!" She joked. Of course, she was still upset about not being able to see Peter, but if they could think of a way for Red and Peter to be together, then Red was all for it. She wanted to see him more than anything right now, and it pained her not to be able to be with him.

Snow knew that would get Red to bounce out of her funk. She walked back over to the bed, "the plan would be , I help you sneak out and I pretend to be you." Snow quickly removed her white cloak and handed it over to Red."Wear this and you can get past Granny. I will stay here with the your cloak on."
The sun started to go down the rays blurred through the room illuminating it. Snow hoped her friend like her plan, it all she could come up with such short notice. The princess place the cloak on the bed and sat down next to her."Go see Peter , you need to go see him. This is your choice of your but I'm behind you a hundred percent either way."

Red listened to her friend's plan. She began to think of the possibilities that could happen, resulting in her leaving the cottage to be with Peter. "Leave right now? Snow, are you sure about this?" Red asked Snow. She wasn't so sure if now would be the best time to see Peter. Then again, that's what her Grandmother told her every minute of every day. Red sighed as she began fidgeting with her hood.
"It's going to be dark doon," Red observed. She was worried. After all, it was Wolf's Time and the wolf could be out and about at this very moment, getting ready to devour its prey.

Snow turned her head to setting sun once again,"It's now or not tonight, you need to see him. Your only becoming more miserable the longer you are without seeing Peter. Have faith true love is powerful magic not even this wolf could rip apart." She place hand on top Red's,giving it a slight squeeze. In all honesty she didn't know this was going to end but if you want something you have to fight for it.
"Yes it will be dark soon, dark soon but maybe you and Peter could build a fire . As a form of protection against the wolf, all you can do is try Red. Just giving you the option if you to." Snow stated with a smile.

Red could feel hope rising within her. "You really believe that I could see Peter tonight?" Red asked Snow. If Snow was right, and if their plan was a success, then she and Peter could spend the rest of their lives together, like they've always wanted. Red was so happy right now, and she reached over and gave her friend a hug.
"Thank you so much Snow, really." She said as she pulled away from Snow, smiling. "This is the nicest thing that anyone has ever done for me. Peter and I owe you." She said with a smile.

"Yes, I believe you can have your happy ending." Snow hugged Red back giving a her squeeze. "You deserve to be happy, now quickly take your hood off and put mined on." Snow got off the bed and shut the door, looking back she could see how happy she had made her.
"You owe me nothing Red, just be happy for the rest of your life." Wrapping her arms around herself , everyone needs to have moments to brighten darker days. Snow lower her head, rest her fore head against the wood of the frame.

Red's heart was racing with excitement. This means that she could finally be with Peter! Even though Granny kept her basically locked away from him and the rest of the world, she would finally be able to break loose with help from Snow.
"Thank you, so so much Snow." Red said with a big smile on her face. "When do you think I should leave? Now?" Red asked, curious. She wanted to know what Snow's opinion was on what would be a good time to leave the cottage. It would be dark soon and she would have to make the decision fast.
