Everything around David felt like a dream, a blur of reality. It were the words made by George which brought him back to the realization that all of this happened for real, and that the feeling of loss would be there in him for the rest of his life. David gritted his teeth and balled his fists, letting some of the sand escape between his fingers. As another tear ran down his cheek he managed himself not to handle out of anger or revenge. But in order to do so, he needed Ruby to be doing this for him. “Ruby, can you lock up this monster for me? It doesn’t matter where you leave him, as long as you throw away the key once you did.” David didn’t turn his head to face his friend nor his enemy but kept staring into the flames. Remembering the sound of his wife’s voice, the way she laughed, the way she looked at him when they were about to fall asleep at night. The moments he had spent with his daughter and all the moments he had missed to have with her. The man that had taken all of that away from him would be getting punished for this. Maybe not now, and maybe not by him, but he will get punished. For now, the loss of not only his family, but also Henry’s was something that needed to get gone through.

The best way to show your love for those who are gone is to tell their stories.

Fearing that if she would talk to him that the wolf would take over. The trees blurred by in night blending in away to just so that the leaves shown. A head the mouth of the mine were in front them. take one last look around because your not going to see the out side world for a while. giving him another shove him in the mouth of the entrance a smile on her face from it. Was it petty yesdid she care no this man has caused to much destruction in town. Gus's and others deaths , to trying to lead a mob to kill her to breaking Charming. Lighting a torch on the sid of the wall grabbing so that they may move within without falling or tripping on anything. toward the endgiving him another shove in the right direction. Red was taking him to the farest part of the mine she would need to make arrangement with Granny for them to come once a day leave him food which was way more then this bastard deserved. One last shove and the man was now in his cell. Good night George she stated hanging up the torch before walking away on her way to see David and to make sure he was alright.

Henry… What was he supposed to do now. How was he going to tell his grandson that from now on it was only the two of them? How was he going to tell him that his mother and grandmother were never going to come back? Ruby was right when she told him to go home, to Henry. Only, where was he supposed to find the courage to tell him the truth? Maybe it was best to tell Henry the next morning, after he had slept. At least he would have had one night of good sleep if he would do it like that. David turned his upper body when he heard footsteps through the sand. Ruby was taking the man away who had taken away everything that he loved. This was the only moment when David hoped that his friend wouldn’t be able to control the wolf inside of her. But then again, he didn’t want his friend to be the one who had George his death on her conscious.
It took longer than usual to make his way back to the apartment. Preparing himself for a very long and sleepless night, and even more importantly, for a night keeping himself strong for Henry in order not to show anything before the morning comes. Gently he placed the key in the keyhole of the front door and pushed the handle down. It was quiet at the apartment. With little but quiet steps he made his way inside. The only light visible was the night light at Snow her side of the bed. Carefully he walked towards the bed and saw Henry already asleep. It gave him some relief as it was making this evening less hard to go through. Gently he placed himself down on the edge of the bed, looking at his grandson. He looked a lot like Emma, and even had some glimpses away from his wife. At least he had the same chin like both of them. It was hard for David to keep himself from letting out some tears. Not only had he lost his family, his grandson did too, and that was making everything hurt even more. All because of the act of revenge from an old king. David looked down to his hand, and locked eyes on his wedding ring. It made him smile a little bit as it reminded him of their wedding and the so called honeymoon they had together. Fidgeting a bit before he took it off, he placed the ring in the palm of his hand and made a fist. Locking the ring inside. Slowly he brought his hand to his heart and kept his fist against it, while he closed his eyes. Remembering all the moments he had spent together with his wife.
