David smiled back, glad that his friend relaxed more by the thought of having a warm drink in a couple of minutes. They were making their way back to David’s truck. He had to admit that his truck had his best time, but still, it was something that he was kind of attached too. Men and cars…. Some truth clearly laid in that expression. By the time they arrived at the truck and David had unlocked it in the old fashion way by putting the key of the car inside the lock of the door, the sound of his walkie talkie drew his attention. “it indeed seems so” David opened the door of truck and reached out for the walkie talkie which he had left on the dashboard. “Yes David here, what’s going on?” Letting go of the button at the side of the walkie talkie he listened carefully to what they were telling him. “what? Okay, stay there, I’m on my way.” David his eyes widened by the words that he heard. Murder…. “Ruby, we have to change our plans a little bit.” Ruby her eyes were widened as well, she seemed to be in some kind of shock. “Ruby, listen to me. Maybe it was just an accident okay? You didn’t do anything, I know you too well Ruby. When we arrive there I want you to stay in the truck while I will go and have a look. Promise me that you stop thinking it’s something you did. Because I know it isn’t.”

Nodding quietly holding back what she wanted to say. Hopping into the passenger seat, Red fasten her seat belt. She knew that David was fixing to speed through the town to get to the "accident" . Yes lets hope that one night that i escape as wolf no one got hurt. Her mind screamed , but the brunette knew the truth deep in her gut this was tied to her.
Wrapping slender arms around letting hands drape on to her shoulders. Watching as David jogged around the front of the truck, and got in on the driver side. Putting on a brave face lets go see this accident then wide grin spread on her face you this almost reminds me of the old days, minus the riding in cars but get what I mean leaning her head back to rest against the head rest. Comfort felt wonderful compared to the hard forest floor. any luck with the hat? she wanted no needed to change the subject to talk of some what normal things once more to get her mind focus on something else.

David didn’t fasten his seatbelt, thinking he would be out of the car much faster without first needing to get himself released from it. Instead he made sure that he hold his back against the rest and both his hands on the steering wheel. The message that he got about the accident made him hold the steering wheel much more tightly than otherwise, making his knuckles color white. Slightly gritting his teeth he made the engine start, driving off towards the town. Hoping himself that Ruby was indeed not the cause of the accident. A slight feeling of guilt immediately followed that thought when he looked at her out of the corner of his eyes. “yeah, the old days.... I thought we would be having those days back once the curse broke but I guess we need to find another way to have them back.” David couldn’t help it to have the sound of disappointment in his voice when he said that. It wasn’t only disappointment on not being back in the realm where they came from, but being separated from his family once again, gave him the same feeling. It felt like he had failed for the second time to protect his family. David let out a little sigh when Red started about the hat. “no, I found the guy that owned the hat and can make it work but he needs magic to do so. And that is exactly something that I don’t have.” A small smile followed, not wanting to annoy Ruby with this. “Ruby, I know that you are afraid of what the accident might be, but I am sure that it has nothing to do with you. You have to trust me on that okay?” he turned his head to face Ruby for a brief moment before he let his attention go back to the road. They were almost at the accident. Prince James |

Red looked at Charming she could sense he was disappointed that about not being in the Enchanted Forest. Part of her was relieved there wasnt anything for brunette there. The man she loved was dead and gone. Gazing out the window frowning leaning her forehead against the cool glass. I know David but maybe its for the best? she spoke quitely . Pushing hand through her hair wishing for a poney tail holder right now to get the rat nest off her neck.
Magic..it always came back to the one thing destoryed or create this mess. Sighing have you gone to Regina or Rumple maybe they could use their magic to get it working? asking if that what he needed why not go to the two people in town with tons to sphare. Biting her lip Red wished that a flash of a memory would come that anything would come to mind but nothing. That what worried her if the wolf was that crazed to get out she could be mence to the town. Swallowing back her fear I hope your right David not just for my sake but for the towns as well. up head Red could see the truck..oh god no it was Gus's. Leaning forward in the seat the tall brunette rolled down the window she needed to catch the scent of ...but all that was there was death. David stopped the truck , a trembling hand went to her mouth stomach lurnching who ever was out there was dead. Looking over at Charming before opening the door. Knees felt weak as she step out on to the road, walking toward the front of the red tow truck. The scent became strong almost over powering to her. There on the ground was Gus, turning quickly Red emptyed the contens of her stomach on the street. Gus had been what can be described as crawled to death.

“I can tell why you are such a good friend of Snow, just by you saying that it’s maybe for the best.” He gave her a small smile. “She would say the exact same thing you know? Actually, she did say the exact same thing before she…” he stopped talking. It only made him think on how much he missed Snow now since she was stuck in the Enchanted Forest together with their daughter. “… I only hope that I will find a way to get them back here Ruby. And quick.” David almost arrived at the place where the accident happened, keeping his eyes on the road while he talked to Ruby. “Yeah, I would definitely ask Regina for help. The person who really asks for being trusted.” The sarcasm in his voice was that clear that Ruby would be getting the message immediately. “And about Gold. I’m not so sure if I would be okay with making another deal.” He and Ruby drove slowly through town and arrived at the place where they needed to be. The thing that immediately took his attention was the truck of Gus that was standing in the middle of the road. “Isn’t this the truck of Gus?” he asked while he frowned his eyebrows and opened the door of his own truck, making effort to get out. Ruby was doing the same thing at the other side of the truck and arrived at the front of Gus his truck before him. What David saw just a few seconds later, made him turn completely pale. There was blood everywhere, Gus laying death on the cold road, right in front of his own truck. The wounds which caused that much blood looked like they were made by an animal. David his eyes widened while he turned his head facing Ruby, who reacted on this in her way. Prince James

Red stumbled back away from the scene not another death ... Tears poured heavily down her cheeks. Hands gripping at the midsection of her dress. Peter, Anita, Graham and now Gus her life was surrounded by death. Shaking making her way to the truck unsteadily, looking back at David. This was her fault there was no way to denied it now.
She wasn't even a mile away from the murder scene, wipping her eyes bracing her self against the hood of the truck. David you have to take me in...you have to put me away for the safty of the town. voice croaking Red didnt dare.meet his eyes. |

David immediately made his way to Ruby after she spoke those words and placed both his hands on her shoulders. He wanted her to meet his eyes and led her away from Gus in a subtle way why did that. “Ruby, I’m not going to lock you up just like this. We don’t have proof that you did this. Ruby… Ruby look at me.” He made her look at him after he couldn’t let her look at him before. Once she pointed her big brown eyes towards him he was sure that he was having her attention. “I know that this looks bad, or that it looks like you did it. But what if you didn’t?” he could see the huge amount of doubt in her eyes when he said that, and had the feeling that the only way to get her more relaxed is by doing what she asked of him. “Ruby, before I am going to take you with me, I want you to know that I don’t want to do this. I am only doing this for yourself so you would be trusting yourself a bit more. I will find what did this to Gus Ruby, I promise you.” Prince James |

Red could feel a panic attack starting swell in her chest making it hard to breath. David his hand were on her shoulders now, her vision started to tunnel. David you have to this proves it right there in the blood. I wasnt far from the scene David.. taking deep breathes trying to get her heart rate down.
Sighing in relief when he finally agreed to it Red nodded her head. thank you David she whispered. Still clinging on to him she felt that if she were to let go now her legs would turn to jello. David once people find out about this im as good as dead.

David held Red tightly and close against him. She was having a panic attack. His heart filled itself with compassion for his friend. He wished he could do something about her feeling of guilt. With slow steps he led her back towards his truck, giving her the time to catch her breath and to calm down a bit more. “People will not finding out anything about this Ruby. I’m not going to let that happen. As long as I don’t find proof that you did this, this has been caused by another animal. This will not be coming out Ruby.” David opened the door of his truck, helping Ruby in. Once she had taken a seat he gently closed the door and jogged around the front of the truck towards the driver’s side, getting the engine started he made is way toward the station with a slowly calming down Ruby next to him. Once they arrived there, and parked the truck, he turned off the engine. Not moving for a moment, but just turning his head towards Ruby, seeing the reflection of her worried and hurt face in the window at her side of the truck. “Ruby, you aren’t a monster. You didn’t do this.”

The ride was a long one and a quite one..Red stared down at her hands. Dirt was under nails, or at least she hoped that was dirt. Calm thats what Charming kept uttering to her. Bring her hands up to her mouth she blew hot air into them trying to warm them to feel anything at all.
“People will not finding out anything about this Ruby. I’m not going to let that happen. As long as I don’t find proof that you did this, this has been caused by another animal. This will not be coming out Ruby.” those words rattled in her brain. What was he going to do? Keep Gus's death a secret soon people would notice. Just like that they were at the station. Red stare went terrified she was going nto a cage.
Her gaze drifted over the dash of the truck till she found David. Not a monster..yes she was good people dont kill someone. There was so much blood on her hands already..Peter, Anita...now Gus. Knots in her stomach began to form. Wishing Graham or Snow was here she could use them now. But Graham was dead and Snow was in the enchanted forest. Reaching out to hold David's please dont leave me i cant be alone right now.
