"Oh no, not at all." Ruby reassured the mayor. She saw that the customer still wasn't getting the service he needed, and she waved another waitress down to help him out. Once that got settled, she turned her attention back to Regina.
"Well I didn't say I never wanted a family. Obviously I do. I guess you can say that I'm just waiting for the right person, and it's just not a top priority right now for me." Ruby told Regina with a shrug. She didn't really know what other way to put it. Starting a family right now would be too much. Ruby just wanted to sit back and relax for now.

Regina watched Red waved down the other nameless waitress to take care of the other customers."Don't you think that Granny will be upset your not doing your?" She pursed her lips together ,arching a brow at the young woman."How about this we finish this conversation during your break."
Hour or two later, The Mayor sat at the table reading the newspaper. She crossed her legs looking up to see Ruby standing over once more. "Where were we? Oh yes you stating that you do want a family, just on your own terms." Regina didn't believe the never finding the right guy, not the way she was dressing here. A smug smile spread across her face.

Ruby went back to work, waiting tables and cleaning them off as the customers left. At her next break, she went back over to Regina, who was still sitting down at the same table, a newspaper in hand.
"Yeah, that's exactly what I said." Ruby said, with a shrug. "I don't know, I just think that now's not the time for that kind of thing." Ruby told Regina. "I guess you could say now, that I'm a lone wolf." Ruby chuckled at her own joke. But in reality, she sort of was. She wasn't looking for any one in particular to be with right now, for she was certain that the right person would find their way to her in time.

Regina nearly choke on her coffee at Ruby's joke, she patted herself on the chest."I'm sure you do consider yourself, a lone wolf, but no one can be alone forever dear. Soon looks fade away and all you will have are memories to keep you warm at night." She stated looking at her now empty cup, this talk with Red was making her remember Daniel .
Brushing her hand over hair, smiling sadly "At least that's what I've been told.Never been much of a true love fan myself. That kind of thing belongs in fairy tales."

"Huh," Ruby said as she placed a hand on her hip, listening to Regina. She wasn't one for fairy tales either. To her they were all cliched. Ruby noticed Regina's empty cup.
"Would you like another cup of coffee?" She asked the mayor. Ruby needed to keep herself busy now. She didn't want Granny to think that she was slacking again. Granny could get a little frightening when she was cross, and Ruby never like that side of her. Ruby waited anxiously for the mayor's answer, whether she wanted another cup of coffee, or not. Ruby didn't really want to waste any more time than she already has.

Regina was brought out of her head by Ruby question, she popped her head up to look at the waitress "yes please thank you." Giving the woman a tight lipped smile. Were was a fight ,all of her snide comments. This was not what she had in mind all , where is the fun of winning if you can't gloat just a little.
When Ruby came back over refilled her cup "So is their any guys here that, make your heart go a flutter? " Regina brought the cup up to her lips sipping her drink. She snapped her fingers "wasn't there a Peter you were seeing?" She titled her head waiting to see if the name sparked any memory for her at.

"Another coffee coming right up," Ruby said as she grabbed the empty mug, and walked briskly to the back of the counter, where the coffee machine was. She quickly made another cup, and brought it back to Regina. "There you go!" Ruby said. When Regina asked if there were any guys in town that she fancied, Ruby didn't really know what to say.
"Not really," She said as she shifted her gaze to the aluminum napkin dispenser. "I barely know anyone here. I'm always working here in the diner, so I don't get out much," Ruby said with a shrug. But if she had the opportunity to get out and about, you bet she would take it without a problem. When Regina asked about someone named Peter, Ruby shook her head. "I don't know anyone named Peter." She told Regina.

"Really no one at all?" Regina asked with smile. This was better then she had hope, the worst thing anyone can do I forget the person they loved most. Here to beginning of your happy ending. She brought her glare up to Ruby's face . "I believe , I would love a to go cup and my bill."
Regina looked around once more at all the unhappy souls in Granny's diner. All of them had in one way or another had caused her so much heart ache. Well now it was her turn,"Let the games begin, for your crimes against me you will pay thrice fold." She whisper. The next stop on her tour of this town would be to visits Snow... No Mary Margret."

"Yep, I'm not interested in anyone right now," Ruby said with a shrug. It was completely true though, there wasn't anyone here that she could see herself with. When Regina asked for her coffee to go, Ruby nodded her head. "Sure thing, I'll be back with it in a little while." Ruby told her. She took Regina's mug with her, and put it into a to go mug. Ruby came back to the table a little while later and set the cup down.
"There you go! Have a good day!" Ruby said with a small smile. She watched the mayor walk out of the diner, coffee cup in hand. Ruby wondered why she had asked all of those questions about her love life. It wasn't something she thought about on a daily basis, and it certainly wasn't a topic that she made small talk about. Ruby sighed as she cleaned off the table that Regina ate at, and went back to work.
