Regina walked briskly to the Red room in secret. Torches lit the corridor as it was a late hour and the Evil Queen was unable to sleep. Her mind was in over time , after the meeting once more of Zelena . being frozen with magic only enraged the Queen to the point of wanting to destroy something . which she had done once back in her room, the scene reminded her to much of her mother Cora when Regina had no magic . how powerless she felt and how she made a vow never to feel that way again. Hence why she was here now standing in front of the door of the wolf. Knocking repeatedly Red Riding Hood/Ruby Lucas open up wolfi have proposition for you whispering out not wanting Snow or Charming to find out what she was doing . the plan was to get Red to take her to the wolves so that she could ha be more protection for the pregnant mother to be. Crossing her arms awaiting for the door to open stop chasing your tail and open the door

Red had been asleep, but only lightly so, when the knock on her door and the accompanying words woke her, "Red Riding Hood/Ruby Lucas, open up wolf, i have proposition for you." That was Regina's voice, low as it was, Red would know her best friend's former stepmother's voice anywhere. She sat up in her bed, as a necessity she slept but lightly in these days of uncertainty, as she had (though that had been in a room in Snow's and Charming's castle) back when Regina was plotting against them in the days preceding Emma's birth. She pushed the blankets- a few more then she truly needed, but Regina's palace was cold, even for one who could turn into a wolf- away from her body and stood up, sliding her feet into the woolen slippers that lay at the bedside on the floor. She padded over to the door, carefully. "stop chasing your tail and open the door" She pulled the door open, half tempted to do it slower than she was, just to annoy Regina, but that was not a good thing. An irritated Regina was the last thing Red wanted to deal with.
"Your Majesty, to what do I owe the honor of your presence, and at this hour?" The wondering words were both somewhat sarcastic and a wholy true inquiry. Whatever had driven Regina to Red, never mind at such a late hour when most people was asleep, it was not something Red could or would guess at. "Please, come in," she said, holding open the door, and standing to one side to give the ex Evil Queen room to pass her. "What is this proposition you have for me, Regina?" Her right hand went her waist, to the spot where her (steel, it must be said, not silver, Red is not a fool to carry a dagger made of the one metal that can harm or kill her) dagger usually sat - out of sheer force of habit, not any actual concern about being alone with the other woman (after all, Regina came to her and if she was still Red's enemy she would not have come alone or at this time of night) - but as it was late at night, she was clad only in a night gown, with slippers on her feet, and thus her belt and dagger were not on her person. "Sorry, Regina, old habits die hard."
(OOC: love the pic, by the way.)

Taking a deep breath strolling past the wolf, jamming her hands into the pockets of her maroon colored robe. its fine , but if it were truly old habits you wouldn't have opened the door.stating with a sarcastically undertone. These two weren't the best of friends that slot was filled already with Maleficent and Snow coming in behind the dragon slowly.
but I guess I should come out with it so the planning can begin. flicking her hand out making a fire roar to life in the stone fire place. Moving closer to the hearth kneeling down holding out slender hands near the flickering hands warming them .
Licking her dry lips I no strike that we are going to do something to help keep Snow safe. We have to find your pack and convince them to guard the palace so they can help protect snow and the baby. I owe her that much and today with Zelena ...I couldn't stop the witch. Maybe your wolves can

"its fine , but if it were truly old habits you wouldn't have opened the door." Red shook her head, "This is your palace, and you are in command here, Regina. I do have to do what you say, while we are here." Even if it rankled (even if it made her inner wolf deeply displeased, because this woman that Red was now obeying, was to her inner wolf, still not quite an ally, not quite Pack), Red had to bow to Regina's authority in this place and this part of the kingdom. She pulled the door shut behind the Queen. "but I guess I should come out with it so the planning can begin." And then Regina used magic to make a fire come roaring to life in her fireplace. Years ago, Red would have pinned her down in wolfsform for doing that in the wolf-woman's rooms, but now? Now she joined her at the hearth, seeking the warmth of the fireplace for herself. "Come out with what exactly, so the planning can begin?" Red asked, confused. Regina had never come to her for anything before, and if she didn't know better, Red would say that this was a set-up. But the old days were behind them, even if certain losses from that time (Peter, her mother) still felt fresh when she thought of them too often. And then there was the loss of the Huntsman, of Graham.. Who'd managed to awaken feelings in her that she'd never thought she'd feel again after losing Peter. But she had to focus on the here and the now if she wanted to learn Regina's plan. "I no strike that we are going to do something to help keep Snow safe. We have to find your pack and convince them to guard the palace so they can help protect snow and the baby. I owe her that much and today with Zelena ...I couldn't stop the witch. Maybe your wolves can"Red stared, disbelieving at Regina, as these words were spoken. Red's pack? Her wolves? They weren't hers at all. They'd exiled and excommunicated her for killing Anita, for choosing Snow, for choosing her humanity over wildness. For choosing what was right, instead of what was easy. For daring to be her own kind of wolf instead of believing that to be a wolf meant following Anita's example. And now Regina wanted them to find the pack and convince them to be 'security' for Snow? Red could see the logic in that, but getting the pack to agree would be next to impossible. She'd do anything for Snow, even face down her mother's wolves who were, presumably still angry with her. Even die for Snow, if that would protect her. "We? Why are you here, truly, Regina? My pack? Regina, what? My wolves? Some of them still want to kill me, I'm pretty sure. You saw how they reacted to me when you set them on us all those years ago at Lake Onodondaga. They were ready to rip me apart. They don't much like me. They blame me for Anita's death, you know that." Then she took a breath and reconsidered. "Well, maybe with Adair out of the picture, they'll listen to reason. That Witch can not be stopped with magic, so it seems, and I'm not a match for her, not alone. But with a pack at my back? We could stand a chance of defeating her... Maybe.. A chance, however small, should not be passed up.." She closed her eyes and conjured a mental picture of Snow, and blew out a deep breath, then said, opening her eyes and locking her gaze with Regina's, "Alright, for Snow. I'm doing this for Snow. But I warn you, if they don't listen to me or attack me, you will need to run away fast, and far. You should teleport yourself back here right away. Don't worry about or try to help me. Just get as far away from the pack as you can. Don't use your magic against them. They will not stand for it again, I am sure." The words were all true. And she said them more out of a sense of duty to Snow, Emma and Henry than of one to Regina. "I won't see my best friend lose someone she has come to call a friend, because of my mother's former pack. I won't see Henry lose his mother because his grandmother's best friend's wolf pack turned on his mother and his grandmother's best friend. I just won't." Red's personal fears of the wolves went largely unspoken, although her mention of the incident at Lake Onodondaga should have hinted at them to Regina. And gods, it was so strange to be running with Regina, instead of from her. She breathed out, and said, "Regina, tell me the truthful answer to this one question, and I will be honest with you as well in answer to any one question you ask me. A truth for a truth. It is a fair trade. Did you actually hate me for me or because I'm Snow's best friend all those years ago when you were hunting her?" Regina Mills

Deadpan expression washed over Regina , I just told you why and what I'm doing here. this so called wolf was starting to sound afraid of them. listen I've killed thousands its not a happy tidbit but it happen . you move on put your big girl undies up let's wrangle your pound puppies. this was the evil queens version of a uplifting speech.
Moving away from the hearth of the fireplace. Everything Red was saying made reservations appear but this was something that red and her would need to get over. I hear you I really do but I won't leave you to the wolves. I'll stay and fight and I do not care if my use of magic offends their delicate sense of pride and animal instinct if they attack my fire ball hand goes.
She would protect Snow and the baby this time she owes this much to the woman . promising Emma that she would help guard them. It felt odd now that she was doing so instead of destroying them. Placing a hand over her heart . Regina thought back to the time when they had just arrived . sh had made her escape from he group . the evil queen had ripped her heart planned on burying but snow had stop her. Tears came to her eyes staring off in the distance the night landscape . Good shall I let you dress ? For I plan to leave within the hour.
