History: As a small child, Anna always enjoyed playing with her sister Elsa. The two shared a friendship like no other, always able to depend on each other and always knew that the other would be there. Their parents always loved watching the two young children playing in the snow that the older had made, it seemed like a perfect family in the development. Until one day, that all changed. Anna and Elsa were playing in the early morning when Anna begins jumping faster than Elsa can catch her, the blonde unable to keep up, accidentally striking her sister in the head with her icy powers.
The royal family was sent into panic as the red head wouldn’t wake. Rushing to the rock trolls, Anna is quickly cured and the group is relived. Until they learn that Elsa needs to control her powers, the moment that the two best friends are torn a part.
Through the years, Anna tried her best to ignore the pain of her sister leaving her behind. The first few months after the accident, Anna tries getting Elsa to come out of her room, just wanting things to go back to the way they were. She wanted her best friend back, she wanted to be happy like they were before.
Three years later and it’s finally the day Anna has been looking forward to, it’s coronation day. The castle is buzzing with excitement as the event draws closer. Anna decides to adventure out into the village, and there she meets Hans. The two immediately gain a connection, Anna quickly falling for his charm.
After the ceremony, everyone goes to the celebration after. It is here that Anna talks to her sister for the first time in what feels like forever. However that didn’t last long as Anna finds Hans once again, and the two begin to dance. Sneaking away from the party, the couple take a walk out on the grounds, Anna falling faster and faster for the Southern Isles native, so when he got down to propose, Anna knew that she had to say yes.
Although not everyone was happy about the couple’s quick engagement, namely Elsa. Anna wasn’t exactly happy hearing that her sister disapproved of her being happy with Hans. She knew there was no one she would rather spend the rest of her life with. He made her happy, and didn’t make her feel so alone.
After denied marriage, Anna gets angry. Quickly she tries to talk some sense into her sister, wanting her to see how happy she really is. The idea of spending the rest of her life, alone in the castle wasn’t an option anymore. Now that she knew what real life interaction was like, Anna didn’t want to go back to what life was like before. Although after seeing what her sister could do, Anna was second guessing her approach.
As the ice spread across the ballroom, Anna wasn’t sure what to feel. At first she was surprised, but her emotions quickly changed to regret. The young girl watched as her sister ran out of the ballroom in fear, knowing that it was all her fault, Anna began to ran after her.
Following after her sister, Anna sets off into the mountains. The journey was harder than expected, Anna knew that she wasn’t fully prepared. She wasn’t even sure how to get up to the north mountain. That was until she saw the ice harvester, she knew that he would be able to help her. And with the right persuasion, Anna knew that she could get him to help her.
Going up the mountain with Kristoff, was something the red head didn’t expect. He may have opened up her eyes slightly, but she knew that what she had with Hans was true love.
Finally reaching the castle that her sister built, Anna went in, hoping that everything would work out like she hoped. She knew that Arendelle wouldn’t trust their Queen unless she could bring back summer. And Elsa was the only one who could run Arendelle, Anna knew she wasn’t ready for the crown. Elsa was always the stronger and smarter one, Elsa was the one who needed to be Queen.
Talking to Elsa didn’t go as planned, Anna realized that as she sat at the bottom of the mountain after jumping off the side. That quickly became the least of her worries as Kristoff notices that Anna’s hair started turning white. Confused, Anna follows Kristoff to meet his family, after being promised that they will be able to help the young princess.
Kristoff’s family was interesting, Anna would admit to that. Although the answer they gave her to unfreezing her heart was one that she knew could be easily solved, as long as she could get back to Hans. Although the thought didn’t last long as she felt her body collapse under her, losing her strength.
After being rushed back to the castle, Anna was quickly taken to Hans, who instead of curing her frozen heart, left her to die. It was then that Anna realized that Hans never was her true love, it had always been Kristoff.
After getting out of the locked room, Anna set out to find the blonde. But she knew that she would never fully reach him, not while out of the corner of her eye, she saw Hans trying to kill Elsa. Running to the pair, Anna threw herself between the sword and the Queen, successfully stopping Hans’ plan.
After learning that ‘love will thaw’ summer was brought back, and Elsa agreed to keeping the gates open. Anna also began working on her relationship with Kristoff, learning that maybe she really did love the ice harvester.
