Story book endings, fairy tales coming true. deep down inside we want to believe they still do.
Name: Ragetti cursed name None occupation Pirate sailing under Captain Hector Barbossa and Captain Jack Sparrow Alliance His uncle Pintel and Captain Barbossa. Some Allegiance to Captain Sparrow story orgins Pirates of Caribbean Canon or Original Canon to the POTC and pirate history. Personal history created because there is none before his life serving on the Cobra under Barbossa play by. MMG in our secretest heart, it's our favorite part of the story. let's just admit we all want to make it too.
Arianna met Joseph Ragetti in Tortuga, when he came to her for her services and they conceived Ragetti. But when Joseph found out that Arianna was with child and left without even a goodbye for the sea. Even so Arianna named Ragetti after his father when he was born and did her best to take care of him the best she could.
When Ragetti was ten, Arianna was murdered by a cut throat pirate who tried to get more then he paid her for and the young boy was left to fend for himself for a weeks until his uncle Pintel showed up in Tortuga. Pintel stowed-away him on the ship he was serving on for many months but when the captain found out he was furious. He sentenced Pintel to scourging for his crime but when it was time, Ragetti couldn’t accept it. He tried to jump in front of the whip , but it caught him in the left eye, ruining it.
A few years later they were pressed ganged into the British Navy which of course they did not enjoy and managed to escape to Tortuga where they met Captain Barbossa. They joined his crew upon the Cobra and served under him faithfully. The ship was attacked by another pirate ship and Ragetti helped save the Capatin as the Cobra went down. For several months he stayed by his Captain’s side as they tried to figure out who attacked them, during this time they met Jack Sparrow, Ragetti was asked to be a witness at the Pirate Hall and he was gave the Piece of Eight to watch over. I believe during that time Calypso was sealed and Ragetti was present for that because of the Piece of Eight. For unknown reasons to Ragetti, he lost contact with Captain Barbossa when he returned to Tortuga but being there is where he joined Jack Sparrow’s crew for the first time. When he arrived on the Pearl he found his former captain there and within 3 days he joined the pact of mutiny against Sparrow. After marooning him, they continued to Isle de Muerta to steal the treasure and for the next 10 years Ragetti found himself cursed. It was only a little while after they stole the gold did Bootstarp begin feeling bad for what they did and Ragetti along the the others did him. But in true irony did Rafetti learn that needed Bootstrap’s share to reverse the curse. Ten years later the medallion called the Black Pearl to Port Royal where Ragetti and Pintel met Elizabeth who they called Poppet. After she evoked Parley they captured her, believing she was Bootstrap’s daughter. They were able to be released with Jack getting Will to pay his blood part but they also killed Barbossa which enabled the Navy to arrest Ragetti.
He was thrown into the Port Royal’s jail to wait to face the gallows but by with the help of the dog with the keys they were able to escape. They were able to find the Pearl and attempt to “salvage” the boat but Jack the monkey steals Ragetti’s eye so he joins Jack’s crew once again to steal Davy Jone’s chest. he helps him take what they think is the heart and helps to fight off the Kraken but to Ragetti’s disappointment, he loses Jack and the Pearl. So he agrees to help rescue both from Davy Jone’s Locker with his former dead captain, Barbossa.
Ragetti helps to rescue Jack and they sail to meet with the Brethren Court to release Caylpso. He gives up his guarded Piece of Eight that was serving as his left eye and ends up releasing her himself because Barbossa failed to speak the incantation as a lover.
After helping fight in the war against Beckett, he sailed off in the Pearl with Barbossa, leaving Jack behind regretfully this time. As they sailed in search of the Fountain of Youth , Blackbeard captured the Pearl in his ship in a bottle collection. Until recently he has been trapped in bottle with the Pearl which Rumplestiltskin had found randomly after many failed attempts by Jack trying to release the Pearl and the bottle was transported into his shop. With Snow's curse being broken, it in turn broke Blackbeard's curse as well and Ragetti has found himself on the Pearl anchored to Storybrooke's docks. Just in time to watch the Wicked Witch be defeated.
each happy ending's a brand new beginning let yourself be enchanted, you just might break through
Ragetti leaned against the railing of the deck as the moonlight shone down upon him. He stared up at the stars as he silently whittled away at would be his new wooden eye. A light breeze blew through his dirty blonde locks as the Black Pearl softly glided through the night. On the deck in this fashion is where Ragetti was where he was mostly found when he was not in his bunk and as crazy Pintel thought he was for not sleeping instead, he didn’t care. He liked spending his nights up there, it was peaceful and found he could think on things he couldn’t talk to Pintel about, like their mortal souls. Whenever he tried to bring up his worries to his uncle, he only was returned with a scoff or a eye rolling before telling him that he was a pirate so he had no reason to even be thinking on all of this, so Ragetti kept it to himself. It was when he was alone, was when he couldn’t help wondering. He wondered mostly if piracy was what would save his soul from Hell. When they were in jail a priest from a local church mission in Port Royal, told him that if he wanted to go to Heaven he needed to do good things. But Ragetti wasn’t sure if he had been doing good. Sure he hadn’t been with a woman like Pintel had told him he had and he didn’t think he got too drunk on rum like Captain Jack did even though he probably drunk as much, but still he didn’t know if that did the trick. It didn’t help he couldn’t actually read the Bible the priest had gave him. So he would continue to ponder up on the deck like this until he could figure it out or at least until someone could teach him to read.
