Set between season two to three.. Snow sat on the bed finishing wrapping Charming last Christmas present in the red and silver paper. She had searched over the every store up and down Main street finding Emma ,Henry and Charming perfect gifts. Wanting this their first Christmas as a real family to go smoothly..Or at least as smoothly as anything could go for them.
Hopping up from the bed to pack up the brightly packages into a tub to hide it the closet. Placing them down carefully the brunette didn't want to break anything. Some of boxes held fragile items, squeaking when the door open suddenly . Stay right there and close your eyes Snow giggled out grabbing the rest of the boxes into the tub. Scuffling toward the closet dragging the black tub behind her. How was your day honey? She inquired scooting the tub in the closet shutting the door. Leaning against it nonchalantly You can open your eyes now David

David already had a few hours done at the station, but decided to go home more early that day. That way he could spend more time with Snow. He had the feeling that they didn’t had that chance in a very long time to spend some time together. He had just opened the door which gave entrance to their apartment when he immediately got the order to close his eyes and not to move. He still had the handle of the door in his hand while he let the order sink through. He didn’t expect to come home like this. “Erm… okay.. okay I will close my eyes.” Quickly he closed his eyelids and waited with the handle of the door still in his hand. “Can I open my eyes now? I kind of want to get in properly without breaking my legs” The giggling of his wife didn’t predict something good. She was way too sneaky sometimes for his own good. “Well my day was alright, and it would be even better if I could come in and can open my eyes again to greet my beautiful and lovely wife in a proper way” he smiled while he hold his eyes shut. He kept doing that until Snow approved him on opening his eyes once again. Quickly he did, his pupils adjusting to the sudden light that was inside the apartment being made by the low standing winter sun. Once his eyes were adjusted to the light he closed the door and saw Snow leaning against the closet in a quite nonchalant way. “Snow….” Looking at her in a suspicious way he took some steps closer. “You are hiding something isn’t it? something that’s inside that closet behind you.” He knew her too well. And certainly the way she looked when she had to keep a secret. Snow White/Mary Margaret |

Snow grin and shook her head no, No I'm not Charming. the petite brunette squeak out. Everyone knew she was bad at keeping secret well the princess was just as bad at lying. Stepping away from the closet.
Snow inched closed a huge goofy grin on her face. aw honey come sit down you look tired taking a hold of his hand trying to lead David to the couch. But he wouldn't budge, frowning Snow would not give up on him not finding out. I'll rub your shoulders and back she spoke gently pulling once more. Still nothing the princess huffed if you sit down I will rub your feet as well but just forget about the closet please. hoping this would be enough to convince Charming to follow her over to the couch far away from the closet.

“Yep, definitely hiding something. I know that look way too well” he laughed when Snow took a hold of his hand and led him away from the closet after a bunch of lovely promises. “You didn’t had to do all this effort to get me away from the closet honey. If you would have just asked me immediately I would have done it, but well now with all these wonderful offers I can’t blame you for not having done it that way.” He laughed again as he swiftly placed his arm around her waist and pulled her closer, enjoying the huge smile on her face and blushing cheeks. The secret that his wife was keeping inside the closet was one he would discover soon. There were more important things right now than whatever she was hiding. “You know, with such a frightful weather outside, I think it would be a very good idea to enjoy our time for two a bit more. Emma will probably stay at the station until later this evening, and Henry has some quality time with Regina. I think it would be the perfect time to…” leaning forward he placed one hand on the back of Snow’s head, one still holding her on her back and lowered her towards the ground before giving her a tender kiss. “….have some quality time ourselves.” Another tender kiss followed quickly. “Oh and I brought corn to make popcorn. I thought that would be something you would enjoy.” Snow White/Mary Margaret

I don't have a look...okay maybe i do but still. Snow gave him a slight pout. When Charming wrap his arms around her waist letting out a soft happy sigh. Raising her arms to drape around David's neck. well I still plan on doing those for you it was to help you relax but it looks like your already there sweetie. thank heavens he had forgotten about the closet. smiling brightly the brunette could feel the heat of the blush creep over her pale cheeks. Why does this sound like you had motive for coming home early? she giggled when they kissed , since their return from Neverland Snow nor Charming had one minute alone together. I love the sound of that kissing once more before separating go sit down relax ill start the popcorn then. taking the bag from his hands walking into the kitchen. so it sounds like you may have been planning this for while now. |

“Hmmm I don’t know why you would be thinking that I had planned this” he winked at her before a smile spread upon his face. “okay I admit, maybe I kind of planned this in advance. But only just a little bit.” He let go of her gently and let her make her way towards the kitchen, while making his way to the couch himself. He knew that this was going to be a good start of a cozy and relaxing evening together with his beautiful wife. David took a seat at the couch, the sound of Snow putting the popcorn into the microwave at the background. “You know Snow, I promise that I will be making more time for you in the future. I think it’s best that I let Emma handle most of the things at the station. She is the real sheriff after all.
And she has showed to be capable on taking the lead. I’m proud of her” David took off his sweater which left him in his t shirt while he talked to his wife. He was waiting for her to join him at the couch, and looked outside for a brief moment. The weather seemed to be changing from sunny and freezing cold, to grey and freezing cold. The first flecks of Snow started to fall. “honey, It has started to Snow. It is going to be a very long and cold winter if you ask me.”Snow White/Mary Margaret

She knew he did , it made her smile that after all these years he was trying. When the timer on the microwave dinged announcing their snack was done. The petite woman stood on her tip toes to open cabinet to grab the large light blue bowl down for the popcorn. I was never upset over not being able to spend a lot of time together. I understood the kingdom came first. Snow truly did understand that did it make it easy for them no but that was part of being rulers. Really you would do that for us? looking over at David she couldn't hide her excitement .
A large grin spread across her face, your willing to let Emma lead and we can spend time together just us..well as much as we possibly can living in the apartment. chuckling she took hold of the bowl walking toward the couch . Popping a few pieces of the corn into her mouth. she did I'm so proud of her David. Emma did something I didn't think would ever happen...she got us all to work together. snuggling in next to him on the couch placing the bowl in between Charming's legs.
Gazing out the window. oh your so right you do know what this means right. looking back at him. if it sticks we are going to have a snow ball. pushing up a little she gave him a quick kiss before stealing the remote from him. Turning on the TV, breaking apart from David to turn attention to the flat screen. anything good on sweetie? |

“I would do anything for us honey. And I know that you never were upset about us not being able to spend much time together back in the Enchanted Forest, but still I can’t help to have the feeling that I want to do something about all that lost time together.” He didn’t take his eyes off of her when she walked towards him with a bowl filled with delicious warm and fresh popcorn. “I think we can be quite creative to have some time for us alone in this apartment. As long as we have a scarf nearby next time to put on the handle of the door, I think Emma will get the message” He started to laugh and gave Snow a wink. With the bowl filled with popcorn being placed between his legs he took a few pieces and placed them in his mouth while he listened to the proud words of his wife. “yeah….” He pulled her closer towards him and wrapped his arm around her shoulder, caressing her upper arm with his hand. “We have an amazing daughter.” Before David knew what all was happening he got a kiss and stolen from the remote of the TV. “hey, that’s not fair. First distracting me and then stealing the remote.” He gave her a playful smile when he leaned closer to her. “I don’t know… I didn’t watch TV for like ages. So I have no idea. What I do know…” Gently he placed the bowl of popcorn on the little table in front of them and shuffled closer to her on the couch, again wrapping his arm around her shoulder. “…is that I prefer to spend to evening with you, instead of looking at a screen.” Snow White/Mary Margaret

Looking at him her face softening into a sweet smile. you want to make up for thelost time stay in this moment with me then. Because ive learnt a long time ago to stay in the present we cant move back David. caressing his cheek before leaning in rubbing noses with him. Moving back from Charming to relax against the cushion, David she gasped followed by a giggle maybe later if your good. Because i have no idea when Emma and Henry will be back. since they had gotten back from Neverland they had been trying for baby more often poor Emma saw the scarf more then she cared to.
Sneaking the remote away was the easy part getting caught well that was kind of fun to at least with David. all is fair in love and distration. letting out another giggle as her hubby moved closer to her. Smiling at him oh really looking at Davids hand on her shoulder, arching a brow before turning her attention toward him again. Another smile this time followed by deep laughter. Bringing her hands up to drap around his neck. alright no tv but do you want to playaboard game then? |

With both her arms draped around his neck he hold her closely and embraced her sides. He even did a bit of effort to lift her up right after she asked him if he wanted to play a board game. With her facing him after he had lift her up on his lap he gave her a tender kiss. “a board game right?” another pop kiss followed when he looked in her sparkly eyes. “Well since the other thing I had planned isn’t going to happen, I think a board game is a great replacement to that” he chuckled a bit, knowing that his wife was right about Emma and Henry being able to walk in at any possible moment. They had already gave Emma quite of a trauma before, they certainly didn’t want that to happen again. It was still awkward if they thought back at that moment. “What board game did you had in mind my little snowflake?” tapping both his hand at her sides he was curious what she was going to pick out.
