{{Right at the end of season two}} Ariel laid on the down on the rocks warming her bones in the sun. Being a mermaid in Neverland had its perks, one lost never mess with you but the only major draw backs were you had to deal with the other scale faces.
Sighing the mermaid flipped over stared out across the clam ocean. She made a silent wish for adventure far from this land.Ariel squeezed her eyes shutting while place the wish. Missing out on the sky darkening with rolling clouds coming across the sky. The waves began to get rougher out near the cliff rocks a whirl pool started to form. A crash of thunder and a flash of lighting made Ariel snap her eyes open. Pushing up with her pale slender arms against the warm rock. She peered over the edge to stare into the belly of the dark ocean. A light from the bottom began to move up toward her, transfixed by dot twirling and whirling in the seas coming closer. Leaning closer to till she slipped into the water. When she hit the salt water Ariel's back finn kicked and her arms crawled at the water to try to get to the top. But it was to late the current prove to be to strong for her and simply pulled the mermaid down into the twirl of light. Causing Ariel to black out from exhaustion. The next thing the red head knew she was laying on the sandy shore the blazing sun burning her skin. She kicked her finn only to realize it had become legs. Shooting up to a sitting position Ariel stared at them in wonder wiggling her toes. Out of the corner of her bright blue eyes she spotted a human coming toward her. Shuffling backwards in the sand she held her hand up Please wait where am I and please don't hurt me. I'm not like the others.

Belle was standing on the dock with treats in her eyes. The man she loved and the father of her child was gone. She might never seen him or the rest of her family ever again. She thought as she ran a hand over her growing baby bump as the baby kicked as if knowing something was wrong. She could not believe she was left here all alone. She had no one now. She had never felt so alone in her life. She thought as she stood there watching the ocean. She didn't know what to do now. She knew what Rumple wanted her to do. But she was scared to do it because she was scared she would never see him again. She knew she had told him that they would see each other again one day some how but a small part of her was scared to death she would never see him or the rest of them again.
She sighed as she wiped the tears form eyes and was getting ready to leave because she knew she could not stay out here for ever it was getting to hot. And that was not good for her or the baby. She was just getting ready to leave when all of a sudden portal opened and she saw someone come out of it. She knew it was not Rumple. She cold see that it was a female. She walked as fast as she could over the docks and to the beach. As she got closer she saw that the stranger had woken up and was moving her feet. She then saw her look up at her and she saw the instant fear in her eyes. As she tired to get way from Belle. "Hey I won't hurt you. I promise" She said holding her hands up and letting her see that she meant no harm to her. She wondered what she meant when she said she was not like the others. But right now she was not going to push it. "Where are you from." She said knowing she was not from here and wondering just where she came from.

Ariel wanted to believe the woman staring at watching her every move the mermaid stood up slowly on shaky legs. The sensation of stand on those what are those called again? Oh yeah legs was beyond weird to her. Never land , Human what land is this? she ask stepping forward a little wobbling she brought her arms out to catch her balance. Hearing a horn blast cause the red head to topple over landing hard in the sand. Her bright green eyes widen in fear once more. what on earth was that? seeing the metal beast zoom by her jaw dropped. get down before that thing see you and tries to attack us. she made a gesture to lower the woman even pulling her arm a little.
Dear god maybe the whirl pool was still there she could go back to the creatures she knew not this crazy world. Looking up at the brunette with bewilderment. why aren't you afraid? |

Belle could see and since the fear coming off of her and gasped in surprise as she learned where Ariel was from. She would not help but wonder how she got here and if there was some way to use it to bring her family back. She thought about what she could tell Ariel. "You are in Storybrooke we are not from here either. We are from the Enchanted Forest. My name is Belle." She said offering her a friendly smile.
She reach out and caught Ariel as she got her feet and was wobbly. She gasped and felt back for Ariel as a car horn when off and the poor girl jumped in fear and fell down. She didn't want to laugh but it was kind of funny. So she bit the inside of her cheek to keep laughing. She shook her head. "Ariel if I get down there on the sand with you. I am not going to be able to get up with out some help. "She said as she placed a hand on her round pregnant belly. "Ground and pregnant women don't mix well." She said smiling at her. "That was a car horn you heard and they won't hurt you. No one here in Storybrooke will hurt you. I promise you that." She said meaning every thing she was saying to the poor terrified girl. She wanted to help her and make her feel safe. "Come on lets get you up and you can tell me why you keep calling me human. Aren't you human?" She asked wondering what Ariel was if she was not human. She thought about what Ariel asked her. "I was scared of it when I first heard it. Everything was new to me and terrified me at first but I had someone that helped me adapt to being in this world. You see everyone here in Storybrooke is from The Enchanted Forest, or Neverland or Wonderland. None of us are from here." She explained to Ariel. She sighed as she thought of what she was going to say next. "Regina had me locked in a padded room for years I had no clue about this world until about a year ago." She said told Ariel being honest with her and hoping that Ariel would see that was being truthful and try to help her and to let her know that she could relate to the fear Ariel was feeling right now.

Being pulled up from the ground Ariel locked eyes with Belle, Regina...no you mean The Evil Queen? We have hide is here? memories of the deal cause the mermaid to start to take short gasps of air as if being choked. Looking about to see her surrounding all she could do was see vast openness which in the longer run was a bad thing. So many possibilites of hurt someone by sneaking up on them.
she hurt you to? Does she also have your heart? oh no and the woman was very pregnant that couldnt be good for the baby. Looking back at the town behind then her eyes widen this place is beyond strange human.. snapping her head back to look at Belle her wet hair swung little as she did it, Im a mermaid, but im a good mermaid i wont kill you i promise. she stated reassuringly her hand up trying to give a gesture of no ill will to the lady.

Belle sighed and shook her head as sadness filled her as she thought of Regina and Will. Regina's new son that was at home with Ruby right now. She saw the fear in Ariel's eyes as she talked about Regina or The Evil Queen as Ariel called her. "Regina won't hurt you here. She is not as bad as you think. She is my fiancé's daughter and I am helping take of Regina's new born son William right now." She said as she looked down at Ariel.
She wanted to laugh when Ariel asked if Regina has her heart. She then realized Ariel was serious. And she started to get the feeling that Regina had Ariel's heart or that someone does. "No I still have my heart. Did she take yours or did someone else take it?" She asked wanting to know because if Regina had it then she might be able to get it back for Ariel since she knew where all of those things were now.
She held her hand out to Ariel to help her stand up. "I know you won't hurt me. And I know this place can be scary but I will help you feel safe here until we can figure out what is going on with you." She said hoping Ariel would trust her and let her help her. She offered Ariel as gentle smile as she waited to see if Ariel would take her hand or not.

Frowning Ariel didn't understand how Belle was engaged to a dead man? Looking at her with confusion she opened her mouth But I thought Henry was dead? How are you to marry a dead man? Humans are very strange. We just bury our dead. eying the woman with uncertainty. She moved a few steps back to look back at the town , swallowing her fear. If she was to survive this place she would need an Alie.
Wrapping her arms about her mid section, she shiver Yes , Regina has my heart The Dark One gave it to her. her voice grew remorseful and quite. Red head brought a hand up and began to rub the top of her chest bone remembering made it ache. your braver then most you know, once I mention. Mermaid Ive known pirates to run away. staring at the pregnant woman before her not sure if she could trust her. Ariel had been used and betrayed so many times that she was starting to be come cold at least toward humans. why would you help me? What would you get out of this ? I have nothing of value to give you, and everything has a price.

Belle French tags;Ariel;notes;Whril Of Destiny;words;350; Belle was confused for a moment trying to figure out what Ariel meant when she asked how she would be engaged to a dead man and how they were looking for a dead man. Belle laughed as she realized who Ariel was talking about. "No I am not engaged to a dead man. You are right Henry is dead. But not the Henry you were thinking about. And we just found out recently that Rumple or the Dark One as you call him is Regina's biological father and that is who I am engaged to and before you freak out Rumple is not as bad as you think. He is trying to change and be good and not hurt people." She explained when she saw the fear in Ariel's eyes. "I won't let him hurt you. You have my word on that." She said hoping that would make Ariel feel better. "And the Henry I am talking about it Regina's adopted son she named him after the man that she thinks of as her father Henry." Belle explained as she saw Ariel try to understand all of what Belle was telling her.
She gasped when she heard that Regina has Ariel's heart. She knew just where the hearts were and she was going to get Ariel's back. "I will get you, your heart back." She said as she looked at the fear on Ariel's face. She hated to see the fear and doubt in Ariel's eyes. She hated that Ariel thought she would want something in return. "I don't want any thing in return. Except maybe to be your friend. If you will let me. I want to help you because I can and you need the help. That is why I am doing it. I will help you any way I can if you will let me." She said being honest with Ariel and hoping the girl would believe her and trust her. She knew it might take a while but Belle was not going to give up. |

Hesitating after all the information Belle had just informed her of. Its was like a bad story Sebastien
us to tell her. So Regina was the Dark Ones spawn, it explained so much. When the stranger stated she would help her Ariel was almost taken back. Humans never offered to help a mermaid not unless there was something in it for them. But this ones face, stance, tone seemed so different. Taking a minute not sure what to say. She let her gaze drift out over the sandy shore line watching baby blue water reach out a caress the land. that's all you would ask for? Just my friendship, nothing more ? titling her head making red waves spill forth over white shoulders. Deal human she smiled turning her head, lifting a hand up to shake on it like Eric had taught her . If this woman could help her then maybe there was hope after all.

Belle smiled at her and shook her hand back. "Good I am so glad you are going let me help you. And again I promise you that I don't want any thing in return but your friendship." She said as she let her hand drop and she thought about what she could do first to help Ariel. "How about we get you some place to stay and get you some cloths to wear. Something a little more warmer then what you have on now." She said as she shivered a little as the cool wind blow around them. She knew the prefect place for Ariel to stay and she still have cloths there what she thought would fit Ariel. "Then after that we will go back to my house and I will get you something to eat. I have to get back to William because he is going to need to eat soon." She said wanting to be there when William it was time for is feeding. He needed her now. She then thought about it. Her place was closer then the apartment so she thought that might be a better idea. "Or would you just like to come to my place now I can get you something to wear there and then we can eat and you can meet William." She said with a smile as she thought about the small baby boy that was at her house waiting for her.
