He had come to a decision and it was final, he had not told Belle about this in fact no one knew he was about to do this, it was for him though and is soon to be born daughter. Gold had decided that Henry needed to die, once he got rid of his undoing well then nothing could be a threat to him ever again. It was easy enough to find him he was on that swing that had recently been set up near the docks, not only that but it was easy enough to have an accident there, lots of sharp rocks to impale yourself on, just an accident no magic.
He arrived at the swing set and stopped looking at henry and at Granny for a moment before at the rocks, he focused on the top of the rope having judged the distance from henry to the rocks and the speed. He put his hand on his cane and slowly worked the magic, watching as the rope began to fray away, slowly bit by bit until. He was called by a familiar voice, turning he noticed the Charming's and Emma, thy seemed to be in a hurry, maybe they had yet to find Regina, there was still no screaming after all.

There he was, Gold. They needed to talk to him about what happened to his son. And also important, ask for his help to save everyone against the trigger that Tamara and Greg were about to activate. With hurried steps they approached Gold. It was something that wouldn’t be easy to tell, but he had the right to know as fast as possible what had happened with his son. “Gold” Charming took a hold of his wife’s hand while he called for him. “We need to talk to you.” David turned his head a bit to his wife so he could make eye contact with her before he would continue talking against Gold. “It’s…about your son.” He hoped that this would make Gold listen to them since it seemed that he wasn’t interested in what they were planning to say. He even seemed to have an irritated look on his face, like they were interrupting something.

Taking a hold of Charming hand Snow felt the pain of guilt wash over her . Here stood a man who looked like he was having a wonderful time watching his grandson play. God this was going to be awful , how does one tell a parent that their child is dead? No words could describe the pain he was going to feel. All they could do was be there for Rumpelstiltskin. I'm sorry Rumple but you may want to sit for this pointing to a bench near by she wanted to make him as comfortable as possible. Letting Emma walk over to Henry to tell him privately they need a moment to be together .

Although his wife wanted to tell this to Gold in a gentle and slow way, it was a way where they didn’t had time for. David knew that it must be one of the most painful things to hear, that your child has died, but now not only that would be painful, also the fact that the whole town is in danger and could mean the death of all of them was something where Charming wanted to fight against as well. He hold his wife’s slender hand and squeezed it gently, knowing she wouldn’t agree on the way he was going to tell Gold about his son, but right now the lives of everyone in Storybrooke were in danger. “It’s Tamara. She shot him.” he gave Gold a minute to realise what he was trying to say. “They opened a portal and Neal was hurt….” David let go of Snow’s hand and made a few steps closer to Gold while he explained what had happened. “…so badly he fell through. He’s gone” the sound of Charming’s voice changed into a whispery one, knowing that this must feel like your heart getting crushed into ashes. There was nothing more painful than to survive your own child.

There seemed there seemed to be a sense of urgency to this visit, maybe they had found Regina after all. To be honest though he did not really care right now, if they had a problem they could try and sort it out themselves, he still had plans for Henry. He turned to watch Emma go to the boy. He heard charming say that they needed to talk to him but kept his eyes on Henry, "not interested." he told them with a dismissive wave of his hand and made to leave until Charming said what it was about. "Yeah, what about him?" He asked now slightly interested.
Then Snow spoke and what she said was somewhat worrying, why would he want to sit down, what had happened? "What's happened?" He asked with concern for his son, He soon found out as he was told Tamara had shot him, he pivoted around on his cane concern full in his eyes, and asked the question he hoped very much was not true. "What? He's dead?" He asked, before Charming went on to explain, A portal, shot dead. He stumbled backwards and it took all his strength to steady himself upon his cane, this was not right, his boy, was truly gone. All that work all that hope his heart felt like it had just crumbled into dust, Bae was dead his only son gone before his time. Not only that it seemed fate conspired against him once more he had lost him once only to lose him again. This was all his fault and he knew it. "Bae wasn't supposed to die," he said silently the pain and thoughts racing through his mind.
