Morgan lifted her head up as she watched him get up. Collecting her things scooting out of the booth. Shocked that David had been okay with her remark, the warmth of her blush still stretched over her face and down her neck. Making her way toward her blue Corvette , she dropped the song lists off in the trunk and took out the large plaid blue and black checker blanket. Folding it Morgan pressed it against her chest. Heading back toward the diner skipping a little dodging puddles on the soaked street and side walk. Her excited over meeting someone who seems to more then happy to spend time with her. Leaning against the fence Morgan sucked in her bottom plump lip lost in thought , a part of her wondered if Mary Margaret was the one who David fought with. Hearing the jingle of the bell red head turned her head in the direction of the noise. Hey are you ready? Ive got the blanket. smiling her features relaxed a little when he returned it back. Once you see this you ll never regret or forget.

The smile that the red haired girl gave him when he walked outside Granny’s diner, was a smile he couldn’t resist on giving back. He wasn’t really sure what the reason was why he seemed to be forgetting the fight he had earlier, but the smile she was giving him could be an important part of it. “Yes I’m ready. And I see that you are as well.” David made his way towards Morgan who was holding the blanket in her arms. “I will take that blanket from you” He said while he reached out his left arm for the blanket before taking it over. With a smile on his face he offered his right arm in order for the red haired girl to take it. “My lady” he said, waiting for the girl to accept his offer. Was this an act without thinking? Maybe, but sometimes it isn’t wrong to do something without thinking. “You make me curious you know. Now I really wonder how it looks like right after some rain.”

Grinning as she took a hold of the arm David offered, Morgan let her limbs drape over the strong forarm of the man. The red head couldn't help but think of Knights and courtly love from his simple action. why thank you kind sir blushing a light pink shade on her cheeks and neck. Excitment ran rampide Your never going to forget it, the sky is still a light shade of gray and sea twinkles in colors of greens, blue. closing her eyes leaning into Davids arm.
This is crazy , she thought to herself. Morgan had never spoke of this to anyone , normally its work or projects...never the sea. That always seemed personal private some thing she can keep to all to her self. Openning her eyes she glanced up at David, bringing a hand up to push some hair behind her ear. Your going to be the first person Ive ever taken with me to walk along the beach. Its one of my favorite times. But you have to be honest with me if you dont like it please tell me so and we can figure something else out.

David could completely picture every detail she was telling him about how the beach will be looking like at this very moment. In a few minutes he would be able to see it for real. He already knew that it was going to be amazing and breath taking. “I feel very honored to be the first one who you take with you for a walk on that seemingly beautiful looking beach.” David truly meant it, it seemed to be very personal for the red haired girl to share that with him. And he was truly grateful that she shared it with him.
Taking one step after the other, enjoying being this close to each other, they slowly made their way towards the beach. He could tell that they were getting closer by the amount of wind that was coming from the direction they were going. Something he automatically linked to a beach, that was wind. With such an open space it was normal that it was there much more than somewhere else.
It didn’t take much longer before he put his first step in the sand of the beach. This was amazing. Morgan was completely right. All of this looked amazing. It was breath taking the way the waves came to the shore, the light of evening sun that was projecting on the water. The wind, the silence…. It was perfect. “I wish I had known that this was such a beautiful place. You would have seen me around here more. Thank you for sharing this beautiful part of nature with me Morgan. It’s perfect.”

Morgan felt her cheek start to burn It truly is the only place I feel at home here. I guess I'm little bit strange. laughing at the thought. Bending down to pull off her shoes I don't know about you but i hate sand in my shoe. Love everything else about the beach I think it my excuse to walk bare feet in here. grab hold of hand leaving him down the beach more . Looking back at David a huge grin on her lips. She thought this would be weird to take someone hee but it was starting of pretty well.
The feel of sand between her toes the smell of satly air this was where Morgan felt at home. We can put the blanket here if you its far enough from the water were we wont get hit by waves. stopping in a little dip of sand. Dropping her flats in the beige gritty ground , turning to face . do you want to sit here and maybe watch the sunset with me?

“I completely understand why you are feeling at home around here. It’s beautiful, quiet and away from all the things going on in town. I think that a lot of people would give everything to have such a place to be able to relax.” David had to smile when Morgan bend down all of a sudden and started to take off her shoes. Why she did that became clear without him needing to ask. “oh so you don’t like sand in your shoes but love the feeling of sand between your toes? That’s interesting.” Another smile followed soon as she took his hand and led him down the beach some more.
Without any hesitation he let himself being lead closer to the water, enjoying the sound of little waves at the background and the changing of color in the sky caused by an upcoming sunset. “yeah, sounds good” it didn’t take long before the blanket had been put on the sand, far enough from the water. “I’m not going to say no to that offer” the color of the sky mirrored itself in her eyes when they made eye contact. It made her eyes sparkle even more. Slowly he lowered himself on the blanket that has been spread on the sand, taking off his own shoes before placing them next to the blanket. “The upcoming sunset looks beautiful already.”

David was the first to get why she loved this place, a huge smile appear as she stared at him with awe. So many people here understood the importance of the town being a fishing town but most never took the time to stop and look at the wonder and beauty of the sea. yes that's it the grit makes me uncomfortable. I know I'm weird its alright to say. Morgan chuckled.
Looking out across the ocean watching the sun being tucked under the ocean waves. you could have said no but you would have missed out there. Its really the only place in StoryBrooke that has colors of the imagination. stating as she leaned back bracing her self with her hands. Crossing her legs at the ankle. How is the memory coming along? I'm just wondering because i had a coworker talk about it with me. You know if you ever feel like you want to chat with me about it I'm all ears.

David chuckled as well when he listened to her further explanation on why she couldn’t stand to have sand in her shoes. He couldn’t help to smile while they were having this conversation. “I prefer to use the word unique instead of weird actually.” He bumped her shoulder with his as he settled himself in a more comfortable way on the blanket. While the so called colors of imagination started to show on the incoming waves and restless water he leaned back and braced himself with his hands, unexpectedly touching her fingers with his own. It made him look at her once again and quickly make his hand leave hers. “I’m… I’m sorry. I just… I didn’t know your hand was already there” he couldn’t help to get a bit of blushing cheeks while he said that. Being very relieved that she started about something completely different he was eager to jump into that subject. “Actually, it can be better. I still try to remember things by looking at photos and sometimes I think that I am remembering something. But I’m never sure if it is truly a memory, or just something that I’m imagining.” He gave her a small smile. “I guess that I need to give it more time.”

Oh I like that spin on it Morgan hated to hear people call her weird or better yet strange because of the things she loves. The way he said unique made her blush it wasnt hateful or distateful just sweet. Lightly laughing at David's shoulder bump brushing her hair behind her ears. As there hands connected Morgan smirked, no its okay really David. reaching out to take his hand in hers. Letting her finger entwine with his, a small spark sizzled down her spine. Closing her eyes listening to the waves roll in and then back out this was calming to her. Spending time here with her guest of honor was nice peaceful the red head couldnt help but take a deep breath of the salty air. Amnesia would go away in time Morgan knew that. I'm sure your right in time youll be fine and all your memories will come back. Now the question is would you want that. Sometimes fate gives us a chance to start over. Sometimes it best to take that leap.

Once their hands touched each other again it seemed that the spark in her eyes went over to his own. The sound of the water rushing over the sand, coming to an halt not that far away from their blanket went to the background, as their fingers entwined. This didn’t felt wrong, actually it felt like it was meant to be. Maybe he was wrong about Mary Margaret, maybe she wasn’t the one he would be calling his one true love. No, no she wasn’t. This girl next to him, the girl he was holding hands with, she was it. She is the one that was making him feel relaxed. While those thoughts rushed through his mind he wander his gaze from their entwined hands to her face, where the shadow of the already standing moon covered her blushing cheeks. But it was the question that she was asking him that got him awake from his thought again. Lowering his gaze once more before looking back in her eyes he answered. “Maybe I don’t want to have those memories back, maybe you are right, and I should make new ones. New ones that I will find worth to keep remembering.” He gave her a smile while lightly squeezing her soft and small hand.
