“Erm, yeah, sure” Emma was still trying to understand why her mother didn’t want her to babysit Neal anymore. Was it because of the magic that made the bottle of milk boil a few minutes ago?
‘You are just thinking too much Emma. Mary Margaret saw that you were stressed so she wants to give you some rest. That’s all. It’s not because of your magic.’ Words of denial showed up while Emma followed behind her mother towards the porch where she took a hold of the stroller and managed to get it down so Mary Margaret would be able to steer it towards the back of her car.
“Are you sure you don’t want me to babysit Neal? I mean, maybe I am a little bit stressed, but I’m sure that once I’m spending time with him it’s going to be much better.”
Emma could only do one last attempt on letting the arranged babysitting day happen.
“Do I need to put the stroller in the back of the car while you buckle up little bro?” Maybe there was a chance that her mother would say yes to this instead of not wanting her to do that as well.
