Date night kind of... In the back of Snow mind she knew that Neal was in great wonderful hands. But it still didn't stop the princess from wanting to run back into the apartment and taking her son back. Only thing stopping her was David who must have guessed her thoughts giving their joined hands a squeeze. Returning the squeeze holding in her thoughts about how this was bad idea how all she wanted was to crawl in bed and cuddle with her son where she would know he would be safe. maybe after dinner we can call to check on Neal? slowing down her pace feet sliding against the side walk as they walked past the diner. Finally he got Snow out of the apartment without Neal. This would be their first time together with just the two of them. It could easily be called a date. The kind of dates they had when Neal wasn’t born yet, the ones they looked forward to every month.
Only now David had to do quite some effort to get her to see that she needed to relax a bit as well for once.
With a smile on his face he walked through Main Street, holding Snow’s hand, lightly squeezing it to let her know that he loved her.
The bright lights from inside the diner made David look inside to see who was in there. It seemed to be quite crowded in there and David felt relieved to have planned this date on a completely other location. “Okay, after we had dinner you can call Belle to see how Neal’s doing. I’m quite sure that he will be soundly asleep Snow. But, that will have to wait for a little bit longer cause we haven’t arrived at our dinner place yet” David gave his wife a loving but at the same time teasing smile. He knew that she wouldn’t like to be far away from Neal, but his dinner was a planned picknick at the side of the lake near the edge of the forest.

Shuffling her feet as they walked down the side walk. Wait dinner? waiting till after dinner that wont work not at all. Tugging at Charming hand to get his attention,smiling sweetly up him. davi dont you think it would be a good idea to check on them now? With the Snow Queen out and about
Not wanting to leave neal alone for to long. What if he was to get kidnapped because they werent there? How cpuld she love with herself? Knotts deep within her belly began to form at the horrible feeling. Pushing the dark ebony hair out her eyes with a free hand. Moving closer to her husband besides what if Belle cant find the extra bottle i premade i think it would a good idea togo a headand stop that situation .

While both their hands were still entwined, David turned his head to face Snow who tugged his hand. “Okay, alright, I’ll let you check on them now” He knew that she would keep worrying about Neal the whole time if he didn’t let her call Belle soon. David was aware of the fear that Snow carried with her every second of the day, the fear of losing Neal and not having the chance to get him back.
He hoped that with this dinner she would stop thinking that much, only if it would just be for tonight.
David let go of Snow’s hand and reached for his cellphone that was inside the pocket of his jacket. He gave the phone to his wife before he took her hand back into his own.
For some reason this was the first time that David felt as if he was making Snow do something that she truly didn’t want. Going out on a date, being together with just the two of them. Snow didn’t seem to be enjoying this, maybe this wasn’t the best idea…
A little part of him missed how Snow was back at the Enchanted Forest, or well… how things were back then. They had a lot of difficult times there, but it seemed to be way more easy to let go of them inside their minds.

sense of calm washed over Snow when David agreed to the call. It wasn't that she didn't enjoy their date nights but if the princess was honest this was not the time for dates and what not . Neal was still far to young to be by him self...or um babysitted.
eyes darted down to theirs as Charming let go to get the phone. Snow would have used hers had David not made her leave it at the apartment. just in case of emergency so Belle will have a phone she was not born yesterday nor was she that naïve princess any longer.
taking the phone dialing the loft's phone as quick as possible. holding her breath till Belle answered. finding out that everything was fine and no belle didn't need them to return. Snow shut the phone gave it back to her husband. alright everything is fine she said I don't have to call back ...so where to now Charming? the words made her mouth go dry she wasn't going to enjoy her self at all but she would pretend for David.

David took his cellphone over from Snow who reached it back to him, placing it back inside the pocket of his jacket. “What did I told you hmm? I told you that everything was going to be okay. Neal always takes his long nap at this hour so you don’t have to be worried. Besides I’m sure that Belle knows what she’s doing.” David gave Snow his typical ‘I told you so’ look as he took a hold of her hand once again.
Their steps slowly got back into gear and the way towards the park wasn’t that long anymore. The sign that betrayed the entrance came into sight.
“Well… I am taking you to the park. I know that you used to love our walks there so I was thinking on doing that now as well. There will only be a little extra this time. You remember that spot at the lake where we spend quite some time during the summer?” David turned his head to look in her eyes for a few seconds. He didn’t need any longer to see if she was indeed remembering it, or would just pretend to remember it. “I reserved our spot for the evening and prepared it so we can have some dinner there.” David was quite proud at his own effort for this.
He just wanted to spend a little bit of time alone with his wife. No one else around, no Grumpy who was lurking behind a tree, just the two of them.

Tightening her fingers with his Snow ignored the look he just gave her. Hating the i told you so glance he always gave David was right about something. A lightly growl purred from the back of her throat. i understand that i just dont know why Neal couldnt come with us David. I mean he such a good baby not once has he really cried fussily before. smiling at his attempt to bring back romance to their relationship.
Yes knew that was lacking at this second , but since Zelena ripped Neal from her arms it terrified her. Was it wrong to want to make sure their baby was safe and sound? If that ment he was in her arms always so be it. David you didnt have to go through all this trouble , thank you that was...sweet. but if we head back now i will rub your feet. she would do anything at this point to get back to her baby.

“I thought that you might love to have some time for ourselves? You barely sleep at night and I thought you would enjoy some moments like this. Now we can finally be together without having to hide for guards from the Evil Queen or for the dwarves who don’t trust me alone with their big sister.” David kept walking hand in hand with his wife towards the entrance of the park, but it were her next words that formed a proposal which made him stop walking. He made it to where he was standing in front of her and locked eyes while both his hands moved towards hers, and took a hold of both of them. “You don’t want to do this isn’t it? You don’t want to have a date.” For a moment David lowered his eyes from hers and let out a little sigh. He had been doing a lot of effort for this and couldn’t completely hide the feeling of disappointment he felt when his wife did every possible attempt on going back home. “Okay…. We go back. I’ll let Leroy know that there is some food he can pick up from the park for him and the rest of the dwarves. I don’t want to force you on going on a date. That just seems wrong.” David let go of both her hands and turned on the balls of his feet to walk back from where they came from. Snow White/Mary Margaret

Looking at one direction where she knew that yes they would have a delightful evening..which was surely fading away with each step that Charming took in opposites direction.
Gently huffing Snow chased after David. Flats scuffing against the sidewalk as she moved toward him. Reaching to grab his shoulder a small wiz left her lips. The princess was still losing baby weight so she wasn't in the best of shape still.
David please wait I'm sorry. I want to do this really. maneuvering herself in front the clearly upset prince. your right I haven't been acting right since the birth please placing her hands on his shoulder trying to get him stop. give me a second chance David

David could hear his wife’s footsteps following him with a hurry. He didn’t want to have a date if she felt like she had to. He wanted to have a date to make her feel more relaxed and escape those four walls of the apartment that were slowly closing in on her. He understood her concern on leaving Neal for a little while, but he was in good and trustworthy hands.
He stopped walking when both Snow her hands were placed on his shoulder and her eyes were being locked with his. A small sigh escaped his mouth before he gave her a response. “Look Snow, I love you. You mean the world to me and the only thing that I want to do is make you happy. I understand that it’s hard for you to let go of Neal for a little while, believe me I do, but I just wanted to show you that I love you.” The feeling of guilt started to show up in stomach on the way that he just reacted.
“I’m sorry Snow, I didn’t want to make you feel as if you upset me. I shouldn’t have reacted like this.” Both his hands wrapped themselves around her waist and pulled her closer. “Let’s head back home and have some time together there…. What do you think? We will be able to have Neal with us and we can settle ourselves in the couch with a blanket and order Chinese?”
