((Set during the AU event of Never Broken))
Mary Margaret grabbed the coffee off the counter , she looked about at the people at diner. Everyone still stared at her poor Miss Blanchard accused of murder. Pulling the lapels of her beige coat around her slim neck she head toward the door.
She hated to be around people right now , leaning her shoulder against the glass of the door to leave. The sky was gray , great just like her mood. She huffed took the lid of the cup off. Blowing it to let it cool off, she closed her eyes allowing the smell of the drink wrap her in a giant hug that she craved so much right now. Everyone but Emma had turned their backs on her...even David that one hurt her most. She trusted him the most hell she even stood up to everyone when they told her that she was a fool and he killed Kathryn.
Digging in her coat pocket trying to find her keys, speak of the devil and he shall appear the petite brunnette thought. Frowning when she saw David by her car. What are you doing here? I thought i was clear in the prison cell leave me alone. stopping in her tracks in the middle of the road she didnt trust her self to be that close to him right now.

There was one thing he needed to do now that he had the chance. Talking. Talking to the woman he loved and tell her that he was sorry for the moment he dared to doubt her. David didn’t had to do a lot of effort to know where she would be. In some way he always seemed to be finding her.
It was a grey day, the sky filled with clouds ready to surprise them with some rain. It was a day which seemed to be representing the tension between the two of them. David waited by her car, waiting for her to come back from the diner. When Mary Margaret came out of the diner and walked towards her car, the frown wasn’t presenting something good. “Mary Margaret” he said, while little clouds of air escaped his mouth by every word he said. David approached her when she didn’t seem to be coming closer to him. “Please wait. Look, I’ll leave if you want. I… I just think we need to talk.” He tried to lock eyes with her, and show her that he was truly feeling bad for what he did.

Mary Margaret stop dead in her tracks and glared at him, What should we talk about David?shaking her head she didnt feel like anything truly needed to be said. He had basically told her he didnt trust and that she capable of murder. Folding her arm she couldnt help but see him for what he was a coward.
You know when the whole town said you kill Kathryn I stood up for you. I believe n you when no one else did. she could feel her anger begin boil and start to come up to the surface. But couldnt even do that for me...No it was easier for you to believe that I had. I want nothing to do with David Nolan

David didn’t dare to look directly in her eyes at this moment. The cold way she was answering him, was a way that he wasn’t used to. He knew that he made a major mistake by doubting on her innocence. But what could he do, all the evidence that kept showing up like the knife and the finger prints and the jewellery box of hers where the heart was in… together with the words coming out of other people’s mouth…. She would have started to doubt as well.
“I…I’m sorry. I wanted to tell you that I’m sorry. I was wrong… about everything. I didn’t believe in you, and I wish I had a very good reason why but I haven’t. It seems like I keep making the wrong decisions and choices and I don’t understand why they keep happening. You know, from the moment that I woke up from that coma, my life doesn’t make a lick of sense. Except for you Mary Margaret… and what I’m feeling? It’s love Mary Margaret.”

Mary Margaret stared at David there were times when he could be so sweet but there were other times when he could be a complete and utter ass. you think this would make up for what you did? side stepped around him. Fumbling with her keys, you know what, I stood up for you and all you can say is sorry? What the hell David. Do you know people look at me like I'm a psycho. Parents are pulling there children a side. Or better yet they look at me like I'm a slut.
She couldn't look at him lowering her eyes once more to the road. so keep your sorry I David . I can't do this anymore, its not fair to me.

“I… I just don’t know what more I can say to make you realize that I know that I was wrong, and that I hurt you by not believing in you, and standing up for you. I just….” Rubbing the back of his neck, he started to realize what she was meaning with all of this. “… I’ve made a huge mistake. A mistake I’m not proud of.” David lowered his gaze towards the ground of the road they were standing at. “Are you breaking up with me?” David looked up at Mary Margaret while one tear slowly ran over his now red colored cheeks. Not only from the cold outside, but the embarrassment was having a part on that too. There he stood, with not any word to tell her anymore, knowing that it wouldn't be any use if he did. She seemed to have made her choice. A determined choice which he wouldn't be able to change.
