This is set during the A.U. event Morgan held her hand out as a light rain began, funny she thought Archer didn't call for rain today. She frowned and tried to pick up her pace . The songs she would be treating to class tomorrow had finally arrived in the mail. Clinging to the package hoping the rain wouldn't leak through the brown paper. When the sky fully opened up the teacher she ran over to Granny's diner and quickly got in. Shaking from down pour that had full drenched her to bone. Shivering Morgan waved at the waitress behind the counter before pushing her now slick back red locks. Walking over to one of the red and white booths she sat down and looked over to menu she decided since mother nature had chose to hit her with a wave of water. She would just wait for it died down and then head home. Her teeth chattering from being chilled. So tea and soup it is, when someone stepped up to the table without looking up she started her order I will take Hot tea and Chicken noodle soup please and... she turned her head up relizing she wasn't talking to waitress or Granny . Morgan could feel her face begin changing to a bright red hi sorry about that

The weather seemed to be feeling itself the same way like David was feeling himself right now. He just got a huge fight with Mary Margaret, a fight which resulted in hard words and a horrible decision. She officially hated him, but it was his own stupid fault. Why did he doubt about Mary Margaret in being able to kill someone? Why was he that stupid to believe that for a moment? He had to be there for her, he had to support her and not doubting her, not even for a second.
Her final words were still repeating itself inside his head, over and over again. ‘David, it’s over. I don’t want to see you again.’ It weren’t that much words, but words which went through his heart like an arrow. He tried to change her mind, to talk her out of her decision, but it was hopeless. She truly made up her mind about this, and there was no use in trying anymore. A feeling of defeat and loneliness crawled up inside of him, and made his heart beat with less love. He had lost his one true love for good now, all by his stupid doubts he has all the time.
David stood there in the main street, watching Mary Margaret getting into her car and driving away from him. Knowing that this was the last time he was able to talk to her and would hear her voice. At least her voice talking against him. Maybe it was better to move out of town, so he wouldn’t hurt himself and Mary Margaret anymore by seeing each other again.
When he could see her car turn in another street, the first drops of rain began to fall down. But he didn’t care, all he could think of right now was the thing he lost. His one true love. Wandering through the main street on his way to….yes to where? David still lived in the same house like Kathryn, but with her still being in the hospital he knew he needed to find a new place to stay. Cause him and Kathryn weren’t together anymore as well, and once she would be better she will go and live in that house. Maybe he could go to granny’s and ask her if he could stay at her bed and breakfast for a little while until he had found some place to live.
The more he thought about everything what happened, the more he felt himself stupid on what he did. He still loved Mary Margaret so much, that it felt like his heart was getting crunched to dust inside his chest. The rain which started to pour down was the only thing which was hiding his tears right now. With the drops of rain falling on his face, people wouldn’t be able to recognize his tears rolling down his cheek. He didn’t know what to do anymore, he just didn’t. The large windows of the diner made it clear from the outside that it was completely filled with people sheltering for the rain, but David decided that it was best to get out of the rain himself as well. Making himself sick wasn’t the solution to all of this. Maybe a beer would cheer him up.
Entering the diner, the little bell made his entrance noticed by most of the people. Water dripping down from his jacket and hair he looked around, hoping he would find a space left to sit. He noticed only one empty spot, it was the one opposite a red haired girl he had seen before already, but never talked to. But that wouldn’t be a problem as he didn’t feel like talking right now. He just wanted to shelter for the rain and drink a beer.
David stepped to her table and waited for her to look up, so he could ask if that seat was taken. Instead of that she started to give him her order, and although he was feeling miserable, that made him smile a little bit. “it’s okay, I can call a waitress for you if you like, cause I don’t think it would be a good idea of letting me go and get you that.” he turned his head, looking for a waitress but they all seemed to be busy at the moment “I think she will come soon. Erm… I was wondering, is that seat taken?” he gestured to the seat opposite the red haired girl.

Morgan couldn't get the words out she just stared at the stranger wide eyed and unblinking. Where had she seen this guy before? Nodding her head gesturing to quickly. Pushing some hair back feeling her cheeks flame up.
Not wanting to mean since the diner was super busy at the moment. Bring her blue eyes up to make lock on to his. He looked so sad and tired, watching him slide into the booth seat across from her. Um..I guess I should tell you my name, I'm Morgan Finn holding her hand out across the table for him to shake and you would be? Are you okay by the way you look as if you have been crying. Your eyes are red...I mean I'm sure your such a manly guy that it was just something in your eye or something but if not and you want to talk about thats cool to but that would be up to you. Have I meantion Im awful at meeting new people she laugh could her cheek turn and even deeper shade of red.

David thanked the red haired girl for her approving nod with his most sympathetic and grateful smile that he was capable to make at this moment before sliding himself into the boot. For a brief moment they locked eyes and the bright blue colour of them made him think of water from exotic sea’s, separating deserted islands from land which is taken over by pirates.
It were eyes where you could easily get drown into. Realising she had said her name he tried to focus himself on her reached out hand instead of the bright blue eyes. With a quick motion he accepted her offered hand with a gentle grip and shook it a few times in slow movement.
Her hands were very tiny and soft. Her name sounded very well. It was a name which fitted the red haired girl in front of him perfectly “Nice to meet you Morgan. I’m David, David Nolan” David let go of her hand after they introduced themselves. While he took out his soaked jacked and placed it on the empty spot next to him on the boot, he listened to what Morgan asked him. He was amazed that someone who he barely knew dared to ask him if he was alright. At least he would never have dared to do that himself. Maybe he better had stayed outside in the pouring rain, at least no one would have been able to notice that he indeed cried. A small smile appeared on his face, trying to hide the painful fact that things indeed were making him feel like crap at the moment. “I think you do pretty well in meeting new people. Let’s say that things didn’t work out like I thought they would” Again the bright blue coloured eyes of her draw his attention together with her blushing cheeks. It was indeed nicely warm inside the diner. He was surprised he wasn’t blushing as well already. “oh and thank you for letting me sit here, I honestly wouldn’t have any idea where else to go if I wouldn’t had a seat around here.”

Thats when it dawn on her where she heard the name before this was Mary Margaret's umm..boyfriend? Oh they must of had a fight, giving him a simpatic smile. well when the world gives you lemons make lemonade and then add vodka. If your going to have a bad day you might as well have a little fun. Morgan was hoping to get him smile or at the least laugh those were always the best medicine for days where you just wanted to crawl back under covers.
thank you for being kind, I'm not but its nice be told I am.Oh I know its looks like the whole town decided to get out of the rain here at Granny's, but can you blame them the food here is amazing. How about I buy you a pick me up...hmmm.. you dont look like a pie man. How about big slice of cake, shh don't worry about about girlish figure. This is what bad days are for pigging out on food youll regret later. She winked, smiling Morgan had no idea where this was coming from... shrugging she would just chaulk it up to two lost souls needing a friend.

This girl made David chuckle, although he couldn’t stop thinking about the hard words Mary Margaret had told him a few moments ago, this girl seemed to be having the special gift on being the light in someone’s darkness. “Don’t be so hard for yourself, I think you are doing great to talk to people you don’t know. I can judge it in an honest way at this moment” he gave her a wink and smiled before he made up his mind on what he was going to order. “Okay, for me a huge slice of chocolate cake then with maybe a beer? I know, not much of a combination but I just follow your way of thinking.” He smiled at her in a friendly way, letting his eyes wander back to hers.
“You know what you want to order as well already? I promise next thing will be on me.” He tapped his fingers on the menu of the diner which laid on the table for a moment. “I think it’s my turn now to decide what type of girl you are. Hmmm let’s see.” He looked at her in a serious way, trying to think about what kind of thing she would love to eat just by her looks. When she opened her mouth to tell him the answer he interrupted her “no wait, let me guess. I think…. you are a chocolate mousse type with maybe a little bit of whipped cream on the top?” He gave her a smile and hoped that he was thinking in the right direction.

add some sprinkle and a cherry. But yes I think that sounds like me. Morgan laughed resting her arms on the table top. Most of the time she really couldnt stand talking to others but within David she was enjoying this.flipping her head to the side let some wavey dampred hair over her shoulder.
Shaking her head a smile stretched her lips, letting her tongue dart out between her front teeth, while she pondered joining him in a beer. you know lets have a two and share a piece of cake I could use to cut back of the caloires. laughing tapping her tummy, when their eyes locked again Morgan couldn't help but feel a spark that made it to her toes. Quickly looking away to try to break the sudden feeling uneasy emotion. She finally got a waitress to look over at them waving her hand so is the one cake and two beers good for you? Because the waitress is coming.

The way that her hair falls over her shoulder is also something that David likes. Her hair looks like red waves which are draped over her shoulder and back. When she locked eyes with him once more, it wasn’t only Morgan that felt the spark. David felt it as well. A smile appeared on his face as an answer to hers. Wait, all of this is happening much too fast. He can’t be falling in love with a girl that he hardly spoke too and certainly didn’t know well enough to have a spark already. He was getting carried away by his emotions, he needed to stop with this. Or he would hurt himself but also the red haired girl. Mary Margaret just told him that she didn’t want to see him again and here he was, talking to a red haired girl named Morgan who seemed to be blowing his mind into feelings which didn’t seem right after those hard words of Mary Margaret.
A feeling of doubt and guilt started to raise inside of him, not knowing if he was doing the right thing he decided to just go with the flow and see where it would go. “yeah, absolutely, cake and beer sounds great.” He said as he turned his upper body in the direction of where the waitress was coming from until she arrived at their table. He gestured for Morgan to give the order, she was the one who was waiting the longest so she could give the order. There was something about her which seemed to be making things in his life less worse than they are at the moment. The way she smiles and talks, it was giving him sparks all over the place.

Ordering when the waitress came over Morgan couldn't help but have a huge smile on her face. This day was starting to become one of her better ones in a while. New music to study and the company of a nice friend, titling her head at the idea not sure if that what you would call some one you find attracted to.
so can I ask you question and you can so tell me to mine my own buisness whether i do that or not will be up to me she laughed pulling her legs on to the booth chair folding them indian style. Looking about the diner seeing the people begin to stare and watch them closely. umm, do you ever get the feeling of being watched arching a thin red brow leaning her elbow on the table, she brought her head back around to give him a small smile. must be because we so good looking, thats why they are looking at us.

Although the feeling of sparks showed up, there was still the strong feeling of guilt inside of him as well. Knowing it wouldn’t hurt to have some relaxing talk with someone else at the moment, he also knew that he had hurt the woman he truly loved. Even that hard that it made her hate him. Trying not to let the feeling of guilt taking over this relaxing moment he fold his hands together, entwining his fingers and watched Morgan place the order.
Once that was done he listened to her in a curious way on what she was about to ask him. He couldn’t help to have the same huge smile on his face like the red haired girl had at the moment she asked him if he had the feeling of being watched. This was a question he didn’t expect, and she would probably notice that by the surprised look on his face at the moment.
David lowered his gaze for a moment before he answered. “Well, people are making it a habit to look at me every time I walk in somewhere the latest time. I’m sorry, it’s probably because of me sitting here with you that people are watching. I can leave if you want? I mean, I don’t want you to feel bad because of me sitting here with you.” It was obvious that some people started to whisper while he sat there, talking to Morgan. He tried to ignore it for a long while already, since he’d been with Mary Margaret all the whispering had started and continued even now. The only question that popped into his mind at that moment was, how long will it take for people to know what had happened not that long ago between him and Mary Margaret.
