{{During the curse, after Welcome to StoryBrooke}}
Mary Margaret carried out the last of the box of candles with the outraged that Leroy created. The people were buying the candles like crazy. She would have to give it to the man once he puts his mind to something he truly goes for. It was a cold New England fall night, perfect for people gathering to celebrate together.
Thanking her lucky stars that awful rain storm had ended. Funny she didn't remember the forecast calling for that. Frowning she picked up her clip board and stepped around the table. The tiny teacher wanted to make sure all the candles were out on display. Running back to her car glaring down at the paper work to do one more finale count. Mary Margaret bumped into someone and with out even looking up she bent down quickly to pick up the paper work that spilled forth on to the ground. I'm so sorry I didn't mean to bump into you looking up to see who it was that she bumped into was. A smile curled her lips when she saw David. Standing up she brushed her knees off and the paper work in jumbles. Hi,...Um how are you?

Founders day, a day the whole town looked forward to happening. It seemed to be the only day in the year that everyone in Storybrooke came outside, setting up little market stands, and talk. Talking about every little thing that was going on in the town. Gossiping would be the right word for it. Everywhere he appeared in front of a market stand, people suddenly stopped talking or started whispering. He knew pretty well what they were saying. Look there, that’s him…. The guy that is cheating his wife with Mary Margaret Blanchard. David tried to ignore everything that people were whispering, but to be honest it was harder than he thought. He never expected that he would care about what people thought, but this whole situation changed his whole opinion about that.
All of a sudden all of the coloured little lights which were put up for Founders Day stopped lightning, which made all the people look around searching what could be the problem and what was going on. Only a few minutes later it seemed that one market stand was having the most profit in this whole situation. It was the market stand of Mary Margaret and Leroy. Candles were being bought by everyone in town, changing the market place into one filled with sociability and less gossiping people. David waited for most of the people to leave the market stand of Mary Margaret, hoping there would still be some candles left. He as well wanted to know where he was going in this sudden darkness.
Holding his hands inside the pockets of his jacket after he put up the collar first, he walked towards Mary Margaret. Only the meeting between the two of them didn’t went as he had planned. She bumped into him on full speed, letting all of the papers she was holding scatter around on the ground. At the same time she was making her apologies he did as well. “I’m sorry, I thought you had seen me coming” He looked down, just wanted to kneel as well and help her pick up all the papers that were lying on the ground, she looked up to him and took a stand again. “Hi….” He gave her a smile as well, a smile which made it obvious he didn’t know if it was allowed by all the people in town to be talking to each other. “I’m okay, you?” He saw that she forgot to pick up a paper and knelt down to grab it. Handing it over to her with a smile on his face “here erm…. you forgot one.” A sudden silence became truth between the two of them, a sudden tension that wasn’t there before. “Business is going great I see” he gestured his head in the direction of the little candle market stand, where Leroy was standing behind with a huge and proud smile on his face. “Do you think you have one candle left? I would appreciate it if I could see where I was going and that I stopped bumping into people while I walk.” He said with a smile.

Mary Margaret covered her mouth and laughed. Not really sure why David always made her so nerves. Like butterflies on repeat, it was nice but at the same time. Had to make her look like a ditz. oh of course I was getting a another box . We ran out of the candle. With the lights going out it became useful to have. accepting the last piece of papet David handed her.
Now that the papers she was hold were in a jamble , she couldnt tell what the finale count was could you help me carry a box or two back to stand? Please i would... hearing Regina slam her car door. Making her jump a little, I would be grateful she shivered from the desth stare that Regina was giving her. Looking back at David, she smiled at him hoping he would say yes Ill buy you candle as a way to say thank you.

As the woman climbed out of the car, Daisy maneuvered her frame to turn and lift herself out. Her legs and joints stiff from the wet clothes, and the time of sitting still. As she righted herself out of the luxurious vehicle, she shivered as the wind spun some leaves down the street past her. Grateful for the coat the Mayor had loaned her, Daisy now slid her not yet dry arms into its not quite long enough sleeves. Her bony wrists exposed to the elements.
The coat made her wonder at the woman's son. Judging by the size of the coat, he couldn't be very old. Not a teen yet, certainly. For most teen boys were at least her height and build by now. And judging by the woman's stature across the black car from her, he would easily be her height, no question.
The woman's words, though directed at her, seemed to float across the square to the people she was leveling her gaze upon. Daisy followed the mayor's glare, hesitating an answer. Not sure if she was quite so entitled.
The booth was almost enchanting. The candles lit and fluttering in the wind. The only booth that seemed to be getting any traffic at the moment given the darkened circumstances. Though Daisy's answer would have been an emphatic no. She knew she had little choice in the matter. They'd driven all this way, with the Mayor's intention to help her. She could hardly take up residence in this woman's car. Hide from the world as she so deeply wished she could. It seemed the only option to walk towards the light of those candles. Those people standing there. To play pleasantries.
"Sure. OK."
She sounded more optimistic than she felt. Every inch of her ached. She was cold, and hot at the same time. What she needed more than anything was sleep. But she owed this woman her gratitude. And if meeting her town's residents would at least show her appreciation, Daisy was happy to do it.
Putting on a pleasant smile, brighter than the effort it took to keep it there, Daisy started following the woman to the candle lit tent.
"Lets meet the locals."

There was it again, that beautiful laugh of her. A laugh he didn’t expect to get from her tonight, certainly not while they were surrounded by all the people of the town who were obviously watching them from a distance so they had the chance to gossip like it was a matter of life and death. David looked up at the coloured light bulbs which were looking all the same at the moment. Dark and forgotten. “There must be something wrong with the electricity in the whole town, maybe that sudden rain came in contact with something it shouldn’t. It’s like you two had known that the lack of electricity would mess up Founder’s Day.” He gave her a smile and let his gaze go from Mary Margaret to Leroy for a brief moment before returning his attention completely to her again.
It was the loud slamming of a car door which made David turn his head to see who was causing it. Not only Mary Margaret but also the other citizens of the town turned their heads to look. Suddenly everyone became a bit more quiet, before starting to speak again in a more hushed tone. It was Regina, the mayor of the town who had arrived. The mayor who normally didn’t attend on simple things like Founder’s Day. David immediately wondered what she was doing here, but then he saw a girl getting out of the car as well. Who was she?
Knowing he didn’t had some business with who Regina was talking to or what she was doing here, he tried to ignore the fact she had arrived and turned himself around again, to face Mary Margaret. “Carrying a box of candles you said right? of course I wouldn’t mind on doing that. Where did you store them?” he put his hands back into the pockets of his dark blue jacket and waited for her to take the lead on where to go.

As she watched the woman across the car, glaring off to the distance with a less than amused expression, Daisy suddenly felt a bit awkward. It seemed as if the entire area had noticed the Mayor's arrival. Did people really start whispering when they'd exited her car? Had the thing the woman had said about her reputation really have bearing. Perhaps they weren't just humble musings of a stern town leader.
"I really should, maybe go find that drink." Daisy said hesitantly. Suddenly, her mouth seemed more dry than it ever had been. She shivered in her damp clothes, yet felt hot in the coat the woman had loaned her. The mixture of sensations, giving her good warning to keep bundled up. "I'll hang on to this, if you don't mind? I can get it back to you tomorrow. You're the mayor after all. Im sure I'll be able to find you." She took a step back from the car, and then another. Tentatively walking backwards from the stern gaze that wasn't even directed at her. The woman seemed lost in her thoughts. Daisy was at great pains to cause this woman any more inconvienance. "Thanks for the ride. And for .. the tow." Her words seemed to fall astray, not even flickering the woman's gaze. Right. Best to just back away and fade into the night.
But first, that cider did sound like a very nice option indeed.
Crossing the street to where the most people seemed to be gathered at the tent with the candles, Daisy slipped through the small crowd, looking over the things at the booth. All of it was very pretty and hand made looking. In any other situation, she'd have been in her element. Probably deciding to take a few things as souvenirs. But with no money in her drenched pockets, and no shelf to call her own, she was hard pressed to find a good reason, or ability to buy anything.
The sight of a little boy hiding behind that woman there, enjoying a funnel cake reminded her of the last time she ate. Or rather, reminded her that she could hardly remember when that was. As if on cue, the tiny sprout flip-flopped in her now ample middle, conveying its urgency for some sort of sustenance as well. Something perhaps a bit more nutritious than funnel cake.
But again, a need with no means. This was growing tiresome. Quickly.
Daisy made a decision, quickly taking a brief assesement. Her hair was still plastered damply to her head after being caught in the downpour. She wore a child's jacket over soaking wet clothing, with her massively pregnant belly rejecting any hope of doing up the too small bit of warmth. Her bony wrists protruding from the sleeves, she was sure only added to the fact that she must look like a vagrant, wandering the night looking for a handout.
The sad fact of the matter at hand.. she was.
"Excuse me." She said quietly, to the woman who seemed to be running the tent. Interupting a conversation between her and a gentleman. "I'm really sorry, I don't mean to intrude. I never do this, but.. did I hear mention of a hot cider.. or something, anything to drink. I seem to have over done it a bit here, and Im a bit.. beyond my means at the moment."

Giving Daisy a tight smile your welcome thats fine dear , I think I have business to attend to as well. Storming toward her target the mayor saw something to make her already boiling blood go volcanic... Henry there smiling laughing with Miss Swan. Oh I will deal with you in moment young and by the end of this night Emma your head will be on a pike.
Narrowing her eyes back on Mary Margaret guessing her idle threats fell on deaf ears. Her pace was at break neck speed making her heel click against pavement echoing through the night air. Reaching the station wagon she gave a lopsided grin to both David, you should run a long and find your wife. she pronounaced eacg symbal of the word wife . As for you Miss Blanchard they have a name for women like you my dear and damn well lucky I'm to much of lady to utter them. Or you would truly know how I feel about you.
Regina no longer paid attention to man who stood by the petite teacher to be honest she really didn't care that he was there. He was simply a means to rip apart the woman. How she truly enjoyed, wrathful gleam sparkled in her eyes. This was a happy moment when she could shame Mary Margaret and in a public setting Christmas came early this year.

Embossment took over for Mary Margaret, she let her eyes dart around the celebration. Everyone was staring the three of them, her stomach started to lurch and twist. Feeling her face go hot she couldn't say anything.
Why did Regina hate her so ? What had she done to deserve such utter lack of respect? Wrapping her arms around herself, Mary Margaret All we were d...ddoing was talking. I asked David to help me with a few boxes. she whispered to the mayor. The petite teacher could hear the towns people began talking and whispering amongst themselves. Mary Margaret heard a few remarks and her already red cheek flamed crimson now. Seeing the woman who rode with Regina to founders day celebration give her a look of pity, quickly she lower her eyes and took the box from David thanks David I should let you go find Kathryn. she stated before walking back to her stall refusing to make eye contact with anyone.

Holding the last box of candles into his arms, he followed Mary Margaret back to the stall where she sold almost all of them right after the lights went out. David had started to talk against Mary Margaret again on their way back to the stall when a girl interrupted them in a quite shy but polite way. He’d never seen that girl before in this town, but there were still so many things that he didn’t remember since he woke up from his coma that he didn’t start to break his head over it.
If he would know her it would come back soon, if not he would be grateful to have met her. The girl was obviously pregnant and looked like she had a hell of an evening. In the corner of his eyes, David could see the mayor walking towards them with some kind of grin on her face. It was a grin which didn’t expect something good. Regina interrupted the three of them just when Mary Margaret wanted to give the girl an answer to her question. “Kathryn is at home, she was tired, Regina. And I wanted to come here to be a part of this town again. I don’t remember it’s a crime to talk to each other, or did that part change while I was in a coma?” It wasn’t really something David would do easily, and certainly not against Regina who seemed to be quite determined with the use of her words at this moment. But the things she was assuming were coming out of her mouth that loudly that people started to whisper even more and look at them like they were thieves. Eyes and faces filled with disgust and surprise were looking at them without doing the effort on hiding it. He just wanted to be at Founders days, if people would be whispering or not, he just needed to see Mary Margaret again.
The weight of the box filled with candles became more heavy with every minute that passed away. He would have preferred to put the box on the counter of the stall himself, instead of Mary Margaret taking it out of his arms with eyes clearly filled with embarrassment and ready to cry. He knew that Regina hurt Mary Margaret again, just like she hurt him in some way, but he was powerless against it. Here in the open with all the people of the town who had seemed to have surrounded the interesting conversation between the three of them which would lead to a lot more gossiping, it would be no use on giving Regina an answer to all this in a not that kind way. It would only give her the opportunity to embarrass them some more. He could see the look on the blond girl’s face when she listened carefully to the conversation between all of them and knew that she must be thinking a lot about them right now. Things which weren’t true in some way and completely ripped out of the complete truth.
Instead of going against the hard words of the mayor, he turned himself around after he gave the blond pregnant girl a little nod and made his way to the edge of the little market, knowing it would be hard for Mary Margaret if he would go back to her. She had been embarrassed enough already.

(Charming/David is who she's speaking to...) Her words had been obliterated by the sudden outburst behind her. First the stern words came from a distance, then as the mayor's heels made sharp contact with the cement beneath them, she came to stand just a few yards away.
Daisy turned to regard the scene, confused at the sudden change in the atmosphere. One moment she'd been sitting in a car with this woman. Sheltered from the storm, being warmed by the vents of her mobile shelter, as she'd driven her to safety. Now, she was standing there gaping at the scene as it unfolded. Harsh words and actions. Fingers pointing and feelings being hurt. The last of the insults hurled at the woman she had just sheepishly asked help from. Dissolving her request in the woman's apparent embarrassment. It was hard to believe this was the very same woman who'd rescued her only half an hour earlier.
Not wanting to further intrude on the hiding woman's reclusion, Daisy instead turned on her heel. She hardly wanted to be of any trouble. And it seemed, she'd walked into nothing but in this moment. She'd take care of herself, as she always did. She didn't need to further incline anyone else.
Her legs felt like lead, as she walked down the row of stalls. Most of them empty, or with a few people, now gathered in hushed conversation as they had regarded the same scene she'd bared witness to. Daisy felt the eyes turn to her, as she passed. Having come from the very car the instigator of the scene had driven, had given her some notice. She kept her head bent inconspicuously as the conversations all but silenced as she passed. The dull throb of the headache had started to insist itself now. Her temples growing hot, and her vision blurring at its peripherals. Her throat constricting with each calculated breath. Focus. Sure, she was tired. Yes, she was thirsty. All she needed to do was find somewhere out of the way. There were lots of these darkened tents. Maybe she could find one, that was unoccupied. Perhaps she'd be lucky enough at a chair. If she just recharged for a moment, surely she could think of what to do for the night.
But even the darkened, and unoccupied tents had tables full of items. Jewelry at this one. Hand made garments at another. As her eyes scanned around, Daisy's steps grew more hesitant. She saw the man who'd been involved in the arguement just ahead of her. Walking carefully, yet seeming aimlessly. If he'd been determined at going anywhere, surely he'd be there by now. Someone in her physical and confused state couldn't keep up with him, surely. As the world around her seemed to start swimming, she cleared her throat carefully. Every fiber of her being hated to do it, but she found herself calling out.
"You don't know where.. I could get a drink, do you? Just some water. And maybe.. somewhere to .. to.. "
Her voice was too quiet. Daisy hardly had the energy to call after him again. Discouraged, and chastised she looked down, seeing an empty tent of pottery to her right. And there, on the table, a water bottle. Full, and left discarded by its owner. Desperate, without thinking she turned into the tent, to steal the liquid. Without thinking of the consequences, she gratefully poured the tepid refreshment past her lips. Spilling some on her already wet clothes.
Taking pull after pull of its thirst quenching liquid. Her eyes scanning around her sheepishly. Praying no one was watching her. Disgusted at such a display.
It was then she noticed. Everything was so beautiful. Handmade cups and bowls. Intricate paintwork, and delicate carvings. As she pulled the water bottle from her cracked lips, Daisy trailed a finger over a vase, delicately tracing the carved knotwork around the base. She wondered absently how the owner of the tent could just leave this all set up, without worry of it being stolen, or vandalised. Surely hours of work went into all of this. She picked up a chalice, admiring its blue and gold paintwork.
She was hot. So blazingly hot. In one swift movement she peeled the too small coat off of her wet clothing. Seconds later, the wind cut through her causing her to shiver again. But still, she felt too hot. Even as her teeth chattered, her cheeks flushed, her face and neck dewy. She needed more water. Taking up the set aside bottled water, she poured it into the chalice, smiling to herself in amusement. "Thank you sir, I think I will!" she mused tipping her head back as she arched the goblet to her mouth. The water was tepid, but still felt oh so refreshing.
She shouldn't be doing this. None of this was hers! What was she doing? Too tired, and perhaps a bit too over drawn, she'd let herself get silly. Quickly Daisy brought her head back. A little too quickly. The world spun from the effort. Then lurched suddenly. The blazing heat she felt moments ago, suddenly turned frigid, as the world around her swung one way and then the next.
"Oh God.. " Daisy reached out, trying to steady herself. Catching the table's edge for a moment's bracing, before the ground deceived her trust yet again. Swooping this way and that. She hung on, closing her eyes tight, willing it to stop. Her stomach lurching, heaving out what little it contained despite her best efforts.
Why here? Why now?
"No. Please. Oh god, Im sorry. " To no one in particular she pleaded. Her apologies doing little to cease her whirling reality. She reached out, hoping to find a steadier purchase. For a moment, it all stopped. For a moment of cold clarity, she righted herself, her terrified and confused eyes searching the world around her. In that brief moment, her eyes connected with the man who had been walking ahead of her. Her mouth opened, searching for words, reasoning, logic. Anything Nothing but one word came. Her eyes pleading with the stranger.
"Sorry. Im so sorry."
Her eyes seemed to flicker out, snuffed out like a candle in the cold night wind. For a brief moment, she almost appeared graceful. Her hands whirling out around her, as she turned in a small circle. As if the world were swallowing her up. But then reality caught up. Her axis tilted suddenly, her arms flailing out, crashing down onto the tables of pottery. Goblets and candlesticks flying astray. Bowls and mugs crashing to pieces. The sound of Daisy's collapse rang out into the night. Before silence descended again.
