Burning Room ((Charming))

It didn’t even took a minute to get under the sleeping curse and arrive into the Netherworld. When David arrived in the Netherworld, he found himself in a dark room, lit only by a single torch. David picked the torch up and began to wander around, searching for a way to the room where he would find Snow. All of the walls around him were mirrored.
Holding the torch in front of him, letting the room light up some more he could only see his own reflection through the mirrored walls. “Snow” letting his voice fill the room with her name. But she wasn’t there, this must be that other room Gold was talking about.
David kept wandering through the mirrored part of the Netherworld. While he looked in the mirror, he realized that Henry’s necklace started to glow with a weak blue light. Holding it in his hand while he kept walking through the room he started to realize that it was glowing brighter the closer he was walking towards his destination. Letting his gaze wander from the floor to the necklace he kept walking.

The necklace continued to glow brighter, until it burned his hand. He dropped the pendant on the ground and blew for a brief moment on his hand to cool down from the sudden warmth it felt . While he bend over to pick it up, he touched the ground instead of the pendant which burned his hand as well. The floor felt like it was on fire. He started to think “the room…..” suddenly it all became clear to him, the room he was looking for was right under him.

Realising he was still holding the torch, he started to use it to break through the floor. He didn’t had to hit the torch that much on the floor to make it burst. The floor which appears to be made of glass shattered, and made him fall into the flaming room.
Seeing flames spreading around, he realised he had found the room he was looking for. It looked exactly like Henry described it to him when he had a nightmare and told him how it looked like. By the huge sound of the flames he could barely hear the voice coming from the other side of the room. Seeing someone in the distance, he knew it was Mary Margaret. “Snow!” he ran towards her but a huge flame made him back away from her again. Protecting his skin from getting burned.

The flame which was separating them was that big that he could only see a little bit of his wife’s expressions. Narrowing his eyes he tried to resist the heat of the flame and stepped closer to be able to hear and see her better. “And you found me.” He gave her a loving and relieved smile “I knew you would be here.”

They would probably not have that much time and David knew he had to tell her how she could stop Cora and come back. “Listen honey, Gold says there’s a way to stop Cora” he almost yelled it to overpower the sound of the flames which echoed through the room. “We have to stun her like we did with him” A huge flame burst through the ground between them which made them separate ones more. “Honey you need to stop her and get home. I want to have you home.”

“It wasn’t the quill, it was the ink. There’s a jar of it in his cell where we kept him. Get it. Get it, stop her, and come home to me” the fire which was destroying the room got his attention as well when curtains started to fall from the wall and ended up on the floor not that far away from them.

The sudden look on his wife’s face made him clear that she was knowing the answer to her question already before he answered. “I had to see you” he looked at her in a loving way “I’m under a sleeping curse. But it was all worth it.” The heat from the flames was getting higher and another huge flame made them separate and back away from each other once more. “You will be able to break this curse with true love’s kiss.” David leaps over the flames towards his wife. Landing on both his feet he stood right in front of his wife, only a few inches away from her. “now….” He leaned forward to kiss her but the two of them go straight through each other.

Regina was right about everything. They weren’t able to kiss each other. The both of them weren’t really there, only their spirits, not their bodies. The flames around them started to get bigger once again and he almost needed to shout towards his wife to make himself understandable. “It’s a Netherworld. We are not really here.” When he looked at Snow she began to fade away. “honey, it’s okay. You’ll get back, and then you’ll wake me as I woke you. You will always find me, and I will always find you.” He wanted to make her calm down again, maybe that would help to stop her from fading. “We will not lose each other forever, I refuse to believe that. You need to have faith. …In us” David locked eyes with her, she kept fading. There was something going on at her side of the world.
“What’s happening? Why are you fading? Snow what is wrong?”
