(before the curse)
Charming rode as fast as he could on his white horse with black manes along a stretch of land which seemed like it would never come to an end. He looked at the ring of his mother which was glowing brighter and brighter. “She must be close. Come on, faster buddy, faster” he whispered to his horse and tapped him in his side with the heels of his boots. He leaned forward on his horse, holding the ring tightly.
He rode through a lot of landscapes to find her, his one true love, and finally arrived at a forest. The horse jumped over fallen trees while Charming lead him the way. The ring was even brighter than it had ever been. He looked around hoping he wasn’t too late, hoping he would find her. He wanted to go even faster and tapped the sides of his horse again, he must find her in time, he just had to. The weather had changed since he started his search for Snow, it had started to snow a little from the moment he arrived into the forest.
Then he saw them, several dwarves standing around something, something he couldn’t tell what it was. He jumped off his horse and ran as fast as he could towards the dwarves.
When one of the dwarves told him that he was too late he could see around what they were all standing. A glass coffin, with inside of the coffin his beloved Snow. “no….NO!” he quickly walked towards the coffin and looked at Snow, his Snow. Laying in the coffin with a white dress, you could almost see her loving smile on her face.
Charming’s heart broke. ‘no, no please no, not my Snow’ tears were starting to form in his eyes. Heartbroken with a feeling of failure and guilt he put both his hands on the glass coffin. He couldn’t touch her, he couldn’t hold her, he needed to hold her one last time, he needed to kiss her once more, he wanted to say goodbye and sorry that he was too late.
“Open it” he kept on looking at his beautiful Snow White. He stroke one hand over the coffin in a gentle way, just like he would treat her if he could actually touch her for real now. When one of the dwarves told him that she was gone he didn’t know what to do anymore. He was lost without her, it was horrible to see her in there. A tear rolled down his cheek and he looked up “At least let me say goodbye”
He hoped for the dwarves to respect his wishes and be a bit understanding. When they removed the lid of the coffin and a few of the snowflakes were falling on her face. He leaned closer to her and got on his knees. Slowly and gently he leaned over her and gave her a last tender kiss on her lips ‘Keep this kiss my love, don’t ever forget my name, I will always remember yours’
