Finally Snow and Emma had returned from the enchanted forest, Henry was as happy as can be and she imagined David to be the same but Annabelle herself was happy. She hadn't seen Snow since the Enchanted forest and with everything that went down ever since the curse broke there was no time to find her friend. So there she was pulling her jacket close to her body watching as everyone filed into the diner one by one, she'd rushed to make it there as well after Henry practically ordered her to be on time. which she wasn't, as always. She quickly stepped across the silent road and slipped into the diner, everyone was exceptionally happy and apparently quite curious about the various foods people had shown up with. She held her hands in surrender to Granny with a apologetic look "I was late" Granny waved her off with a soft chuckle and lighthearted 'you've never been good at cooking anyway' joke. Annabelle pushed through the crowd and at long last saw a familiar face across the room. Snow. She looked nothing like the girl she'd met so very long ago in the queen's dungeons, no longer curly hair that cascaded down her back or a bow and quiver upon her back but the same kindness still lingered in her eyes. "Snow!" she called out with a wave and a gentle smile, her feet pulled her easily across the room to meet with a friend she hadn't remembered in so long, Henry and Emma were obviously having a blast reuniting and David seemed very much entranced with the scene "its been too long" she said once she faced her friend with a wide grin and curious eyes. So many friendly faces and one not so friendly. But that wasn't what shocked the now school teacher it was the face of the only other person besides Charming and Red that Snow trusted with her family. Seeing the woman glide toward her in graceful stride the petite woman practically tackled the thief for hug. During the curse Mary Margaret didn't have a wide social circle so she could never really remember bumping into seeing Annabelle. Squeezing the blonde tight with all her might in that hug oh my goodness Annabelle Hope Evans is that you ? My god you look fantastic Snow was happy to be back home. Henry earlier that day told his grams as he so sweetly calls her. That nice lady of the name of Annabelle had given him hope while they were away. Never in all her years did she imagine it was her friend. How foolish she now felt , the name Annabelle wasn't a common one of course it was the woman that saved her. Leaning but not breaking contact instead she linked arms with the blonde walked with her to the table by the window. Snow wanted to say thank you for giving hope to little boy Henry and Charming told what you did thank you for that. It hasn't been easy on them your presence along with the others meant so much.

Annabelle threw her arms around Snow and returned the hug with as much strength as she could muster "oh please" she smiled brushing off the compliment but immediately taking in the new image of her friend "but look at you" she held Snow at arms length with a gentle smile "who ever knew you'd rock short hair?"her hands gestured to Snow in a playful manner as she chuckled softly slipping down into the seat opposite Snow.
"It's no big deal really" she lifted her eyes to meet the happy smile of Henry, who couldn't be happier that his family was reunited as all should be "besides he gave me more hope than I gave him" the words couldn't be more true, poor boy had this blind faith that no matter what the odds were good will always win "besides David looked like he needed a break" she met Snow's soft gaze with a smile.
"I guess ruling a kingdom was easier when all the subjects weren't trapped in a small town" but it seemed the small moment of fear and chaos passed and the return of Snow and her daughter breathed new hope into the people, hope they all needed. Families were reunited and loved ones found and each and everyone looked to their leaders which just so happen to be Snow and her prince, as it always should've been.

Sheepishly a hand wander to the back of the nape of Snow swan like neck. It was odd not feeling her long curls drape across the back of neck. The curse had made sure that there nothing extraordinary about the school teacher Mary Margaret. Luckily for Snow a force more powerful then dark magic came to town it was in the form of Charming and her daughter. Twisting her head looking back at Emma before smiling and ducking her head I guess the curse did laughing a sigh out its strange how we were in this town all this time but not once did we bump into one another. This magic was strong and bizarre thankfully done with. Still so modest shaking her head Snow never got the reason why Annabelle couldn't take compliments . yes poor Charming from what he told me Henry kept him on his toes. You did more then you know Henry is special boy but he still is a child. To help him during a difficult time means so much the family. Yet you always had a way of doing that dont you ? arching a brow a wide grin spread over her features. Leaning back into he chair arms crossing over her chest. Annabelle had talked snow down plenty of times or in the best of times talked her into many adventures along the quest to regain the kingdom. Between Charming,Red and Annabelle, the princess never felt alone the tiny family style unit had formed.

There are better things ahead “Well the curse was right” Annabelle smiled admiring the different look on her long time friend, it fit Mary Margaret perfectly. But Snow’s words were true and Annabelle couldn’t recall a single memory in which their cursed selves crossed one another’s path. Damned thing wanted them to be as alone as possible “Thank God Emma broke the damn thing. We were all living past each other for way too long” she looked around her to see various people from Home talk to one another nearly as if the past 28 years hadn’t happened.
“Honesty all I did was feed him, house him and tell him about home” she chuckled remembering the dozens of questions Henry asked her all through the night “He wanted to know everything about the Enchanted Forest. It was kind of cute” she said smiling at the boy.
“D’you think we’ll ever go home?” she looked hopeful and at the same time regretful, however nice it would be to go back they were all so interlaced in the new world that it seemed an impossible task “D’you think they all even want to go home?” she held her hands up to the small groups of talking people with a curious smirk upon her lips.
