Pounding of the horse hooves thunder behind the bandit. Snow had been on her way to give some of the gold she had stolen from the Queen's carriages to a near by village when out of no where had they appeared. Dropping the bags the ex princess turn tail and ran down the dirt road. This would only be temporary, she needed to get off the main road if she wanted to survive.
Racing off the road into the bushes . Pushing back shrubs limbs running further in hopefully they couldn't ride in the woods. To many trees , bushes and vines.
Not turning back she wouldn't glance back to see if they were coming that would slow her down and possibly cost her life. Jumping over a fallen log landing hard on the ground falling into dirt trap. Snow cursed as looked up from the dug up hole. Vision blurred from the hit she took on her head when she landed. Rolling up to sit up. Glancing about great she has just gotten herself killed . If she yelled out the guards would hear if she stayed quiet she could starve to death.
Huffing the bandit stood up dusting her butt off. She had to reevaluate her surrounding . Noticing a vine dangling she could climb up that and get out of here. Rubbing her gloved hands together . Snow jumped up gripping the vine tight pulling her self up and started to climb out . Smiling she was making it up the vine until it started to slipping out of the soft dirt wall. Her grin faded when she started to fall backwards again a yelp slipped off her tongue. wonderful staring back up the hole she was now struck . Throwing the broken vine away from her all was left for the guards to come collect her.

Taking a break from the camp site surrounded with men, the former maiden decided to take a stroll outside the camp grounds, claiming she needed fresh air. When in actuality she just wanted to be alone with her thoughts without the accompanying chatter of the band of bandits. It took more convincing with Robin than she expected but all she had to do was batter her lashes and he eventually caved in. "Thank you, my love." was her reply as she headed off in no particular direction with her bow and arrows strapped to her - she never went anywhere without them.
Clearing her mind of the flooding doubts that swam around in there was her priority. She never thought she would ever go from being a Lady in Waiting to a bandit all in the name of love but now that she was here, she didn't regret a single choice. But being a bandit took a small toll on her, being in constant fear of losing her life or facing imprisonment was certainly not something she looked forward to but as long as there was breath flowing through her lungs and her heartbeat was strong, she would continue standing beside the love of her life and trusting the decisions he made.
After walking for a good fifteen minutes, scoping out her surroundings, she spotted two guards walking around cautiously with their swords drawn. Quietly, she climbed a tree and took off her bow, loading an arrow, ready to shoot at a moment's notice. As she watched them aimlessly walking around, out of the corner of her eye, off to the side, she was able to catch a glimpse of a vine being pulled into a rather obvious hole. Someone was down there and the vigilante in her wasn't going to let up until she knew for sure that this person was of good nature and not someone who needed to rot away.
Waiting until the guards were at least a mile away, thankful they hadn't noticed the big, gaping hole in the ground - how? she couldn't figure out - Marian jumped down from the branch she was sitting on, landing on her feet and maneuvering silently toward the hole. With great precaution, she held the reloaded bow at a downward angle into the hole and finally looked into it, noticing a cloaked person facing away from her. "Slowly turn around and reveal yourself..." Her voice sounded stronger than she intended but she supposed that was a good thing, to display how serious she was.

holding her hands in the air Snow cursed her luck. taking a deep unsteady breath . this was how it ended in hole in the ground by a hunter? Doing as it was commanded of her, the bandit turned about to see a woman. Confused by not being face to face with Black Knight, Hello Madame , funny story really . I was taking a lovely walk in the woods and unfortunately I stumbled in what I can only assume is your well dug trap. Clever very clever, but as you can see I'm no animal but a human perhaps you can be so kind and help me out of the hole now?
the arrow pointed at her made the snide comments come only a minimum . Snow was rather fond of not having a man made hole in her body. Smiling warmly up at the woman, let me introduce myself I'm Mary Margaret , and you would be? please don't say bounty hunter , don't say bounty hunter. chanting in her head on repeat having already dealing with one bounty hunter earlier this week. She wasn't in the mood to deal with another.
Smiling wider , so what do you say , help a lady out?

Never breaking her eyes away from the frame, she wanted to be relieved that it was actually a woman inside the trap but years of being a bandit heightened her already sharpened skills, including common sense. So without being too trusting, Marian decided to hear the other woman out. You look oddly familiar...I can't quite put my finger on it though. But what are you doing in these parts of the woods, Mary Margaret? She wasn't going to lower her bow until she was confident that this wasn't going to end badly for her.
I don't think I should speak of who I am quite yet...After all, you could be lying about who you are. At that thought, the maiden held her bow even tighter, her aim placed directly over the seemingly innocent woman's heart. Helping her out of the hole could end one of two ways but the side of her, the one that was filled with goodness and honor, told her that the only thing to do was help. So with great reluctance initially, Marian glanced upward to look for a vine long enough to throw down toward Mary Margaret and help her out.
I will warn you once and only once, if you are not who you say you are and you do harm toward me, I will kill you without thinking twice. Luckily there was a thick, long vine wrapped around a nearby tree and it wouldn't take much for her to grab it, but oh how she would rather just walk away and forget this ever happened.

Smiling Snow kept her hands up a small pange of guilt hit her when the lady said she looked familiar. Grin fading away lowering gaze lowering to the dirt floor. I guess I just have that type of face , berry picking I was told there is lovely patch of wild berries around here and well I thought I would check it out. when your on the run you have to learn to lie. Knowing its not the right thing but its the very thing to keep you alive.
The single word lying made the bandit feel queasy. She hated to lie closing her eyes guilt washed over her. Lowering her arms little this wasn't right this was so horribly wrong and dishonorable. I..I my name isn't Mary Margaret nor am I searching for berries. I am Snow White and right now I'm in hiding the Evil Queen's guards are after me at this moment . so you can please do the right thing now that you know this and help me up or you can shout out and get the guards attention... I won't blame you.
Nerves ate away at Snow her faith in others was slowly building thanks to certain prince. His single act of honorable kindness made the semi jaded princess believe that people could do good things still.

She listened attentively to the mysterious woman, taking each statement and deconstructing it as she looked for lies. Berry picking? Interesting... The bandit wasn't going to mention that there weren't any berries anywhere near this area, oh no, instead she was going to wait and see just how far Mary Margaret's lies would go.
Shaking her head ever so slightly, Marian released a deep sigh, she hadn't planned on killing anyone today but by the looks of it, she had two choices; fetch the guards or kill this threat herself. Just as she was about to release her arrow, the other woman spoke once more, her tone genuine for the first time since they've come face to face. Maid Marian's eyes widened and she instantly dropped her bow from aiming, putting pieces together in her mind. It's you. I knew I recognized you from somewhere, your wanted posters are everywhere.
She and Robin had vowed that if they ever came across Snow White, they'd do their best to help in any way possible so she didn't hesitate to walk over and cut the vine from the tree, lowering it down into the hole to help the former princess. I hope you'll forgive me for threatening you, she spoke as she tied the other end securely around the trunk of the tree, knowing it was enough to support Snow's weight. I just needed to be sure of who you were. Speaking of introductions, my name is Maid Marian.

When the woman lowered her arrow and began to walk away Snow's stomach dropped. Was the stranger really leaving? Abandoning her to her fate? The whack of knife cutting through a near by . holding her breath heart racing only did she release the breath now burning her lungs when a vine dangled down .
Thank the heavens Snow whispered reaching out gripping it tight pulling her self out of the hole. Glancing up at the lady no need for apologizes you were doing what you believed to be right. Besides I would have done the same but when you left not going to lie I was tad worried you were leaving me to stay in there especially after the wanted posters comment.
Once up top Snow let the vine slip from her hands smiling at her Savior lovely to meet you Maid Marion , thank you for helping me out . off in the distance a twig snapped . the bandit head shot off toward the sound. I feel as we should finish this out of view I don't want you to trouble because of me. locking her jaw as she searched the woods for signs of the guards.

Of course even after finding out who the other woman was, she still could've left and not risked putting herself in danger but knowing why the former princess was on the run only fueled her urge to help those in need. So no, this time she was going to trust her gut and do the right thing and not abandon Snow.
After making sure the vine was secure enough to support her weight, Marian waited at the edge of the hole beside the vine, making sure she would be able to help her the rest of the way up if she needed it. Once freed, the bandit pulled the vine back, throwing it toward the tree and leaving it there in case it was ever needed once more. Chuckling softly, she nodded in understanding, I had thought about it but my conscience wouldn't have let me hear the last of it. Plus I couldn't leave Snow White in danger, you mean so much to the people of this kingdom. So no need to thank me, it was the right thing to do.
Just as Snow's head turned, Marian's did as well, hearing exactly which direction it had come from. I think you're right about getting out of sight.. She whispered, grabbing the other bandit's hand, Come with me, I know a little hobble nearby.

She did not feel like the people should be proud of in fact Snow felt as if she was letting down every single one of them be not going after Regina. Following behind the brave young woman. Not many would denied the Evil Queen but Marian wasn't a normal woman. No she was the fair maiden of Sherwood wife to Robin Hood. If anyone could understand her plight then Marian could.
As briskly jogging through Snow not knowing where they were going but only knew it was a safe haven for those who ran under the law. Grabbing the end of her cloak twirling around her forearm the forest had grown quiet eerie So when a structure no longer hidden from sight appeared the bandit had to do a double a massive log ? This was their safe spot really? Arching her dark brows up you could have you know left me to rot others would have besides don't you have a family you have look after?
The truth was Snow didn't really put much faith in others any more the naive princess that believed in happily ever after was gone and dead . Regina had seen to that with loss of her father and crown.

Snow White/Mary MargaretHer and her husband had discussed topics involving Snow White every once in a while and it was always unanimous decision, if they were to ever run into the bandit, they shouldn't hesitate to help her. Of course they didn't know every detail of what happened between her and the Evil Queen but they knew the former princess was a good person and didn't deserve to be the target of malicious lies. Letting her feet lead them to the small hiding spot, Marian moved swiftly through the trees, avoiding making as much noise as possible. Once the familiar hobble came into sight, she slowed her feet to a walking pace, letting Snow's hand go. I do but, this is the whole reason my husband and I do what we do. For the greater good. I know it may seem weird to get help from a complete stranger but we can discuss all that once we're out of sight.Pushing aside a medium sized boulder, she pointed for Snow to walk inside the man-made hole that was in the ground, I assure you I'll be right behind you. It wasn't unnatural for her to be skeptical, Marian didn't trust most people they came across. This life was a difficult one to live.
