Nodding his head okay so dad could handle his own with Emma. He looked up to that, smiling okay I'll keep Gold busy for you then . Now I can ask him all kinds of gramps questions. laughing he wondered a lot about his dad's side of the family . Hopping up from his seat taking his plate and cup to the trash can. This is going to be epic practically yelling out running back to the table. I will get to meet your girlfriend? I think I should I mean we are family and family shouldn't have secrets right? plus then he could size her up and see if she is truly a good match for his dad. Neal Cassidy

I grew up alone. I grew up without a father. You can make up for that?

Neal knew that it would be better for him to find a way to talk to Emma, despite everything he still had a way of talking to her in the right way. Returning Henry's smile as he looked up at him, he nodded gently “Sounds good to me, just be careful Henry. He doesn't really like people asking too many questions. He wouldn't even answer mine.” Neal said, sighing sadly and looking down at Henry.
Watching Henry head over to the trash can, he chuckled softly. “I'm sure it will be” Neal said, leaning back as Henry came back to the table. “She's my fiancee, but, yes you'll get to meet her. You're right, family shouldn't have secrets from each other.” Neal knew that Henry would love Tamara, and he hoped that she would love him too, since they had never discussed whether she wanted kids one day or not. He hoped this wouldn't scare her off too much. @henry

Gold was secretive that wasn't news to him. Gold hadn't always been so friendly toward him to begin with. But the man had been somewhat nice this afternoon. Maybe there was hope Henry could hopefully repair the bridge between dad and his gramps ...no that didn't sound right. He thought scrunching his face up grandfather would do nodding his head. Bring his attention back to his dad smiling brightly at Neal. Perking his brows up wasn't fiance a nice way of saying girlfriend with ring? Blinking few times gazing at his dad I can't wait to meet her . I hope she likes me. Maybe she can come to Storybrooke with us then you both can stay just finding him made Henry never to lose him again. So if that meant keeping his dad fiance with Neal then its so be it. should we head back, we have our missions for operation home coming Neal Cassidy

His papa was always one for keeping secrets, even from him, he just didn't figure that out, until he had already been abandoned anyway. While, this had hurt Neal, he deep down understood why he had changed the story his papa had told him. But, he still would've wanted to know the truth. Neal saw that Henry had scrunched up his nose, and he smiled softly at him. Neal looked at his son as he looked back up at him, before explaining that Tamara was his fiancee, not his girlfriend. “I can't wait for you to meet her either. I'm sure she'll love you Henry. I hope so, I'll figure things out with her, just once I talk to Emma first.” Neal said. There was no point in talking to Tamara about the possiblity of moving with him, before discussing it with Emma. Neal would never let himself lose Henry, now that they've met. Just figuring stuff out may be a bit hard. Looking up at the sky, he noticed the sun was slowly setting, and then looked back down at Henry. “Yeah, we should get back. Yes, we do have our missions.” Neal said, sighing softly at his son before looking around. “Besides, New York after dark is dangerous. I'm not letting you into that kind of trouble.” @henry

Henry took hold of his dad hand smiling nodding his head toward door . The quicker they got back to the apartment the sooner they would get back to Storybrooke . Squeezing Neal's hand before letting go and walking out of the restaurant . A little skip in his step he would get his perfect family like the one on his worksheet so long ago. Pausing by a trash can waiting for his dad . Maybe if Emma and Neal talk long enough maybe they would fall for one another again. A mischievous grins spread across his lips at the idea. His mission was clear operation parent trap would begin as soon as they got to apartment . Neal Cassidy

Neal smiled as Henry took a hold of his hand as they began to head home to his apartment. He just hated that he was having to go back to his apartment that had his father inside it for the first time in years.
Looking down Neal watched Henry head out of the restaurant, Neal adjusted his jacket pulling the hood back over his head, as he followed Henry out onto the streets of New York. Watching Henry stop by the trash can, Neal smiled. He finally had some kind of real family and it was in front of him. Yes, his father was here, but, he had years for them to be a family. His son and Tamara were the only family he needed. Reaching him at the trash-can, he placed his arm over his son's shoulder and pulled him close to his side, as they made their way back to the subway leading back to his apartment, and his father.
